Staying Inn for Valentine’s (opposites attract romance)
Penelope runs the local inn with her parents. She loves the town, but not the town lore – that everyone in it finds true love. She’s obviously an exception to that. Until Devon arrives in town. He’s ready to drive right through it, committed to settling wherever he runs out of gas. He still has some in the tank, so after he spends the night, he’ll book it. But Penelope convinces him to find the charm of the small town. Will he stick to his plan, or will the town show him that Penelope is worth staying put?
Winter of Second Chances (second chance romance)
In the years since her marriage dissolved, Chastity has worked hard to get her life back on track. Now, she owns True Love’s bookstore and hopes to write her own novel – but the words aren’t flowing. Not until her ex comes back to down. But Chase has returned only to finish what they started ten years ago: their divorce. Somehow, the paperwork never went through. So he’s back to get that done so they can move on. But True Love won’t let them do that without showing them what a second chance might look like first.
Spring for Best Friends (friends to lovers romance)
Olivia and Ryan have been best friends since third grade. She’s been there through all of his nerdy phases, so he’s pushed his feeling away, thinking she could never love him. However, Olivia’s been in love with him since his nerdy phase, and she’s still in love with the man Ryan is today. But a new woman comes to town and makes a move first. Will Olivia let her feelings go, or will Ryan finally realize the truth and turn their friendship into something more?

In Staying in for Valentine’s Day, Devon Nichol was going to use his inheritance from his father to wander and see the world like his mother did when got stuck in True Love and met Penelope Gailbraith. Penelope has gone on many first dates, but she’s never gotten past that. She hasn’t met anyone that she could be herself with until Devon. But he told her he’s just in True Love temporarily. And she’ll be taking over her parents’ inn so she has no desire to wander like he does. Devon starts to see the positives in being in a small town and staying in one place with a girl who he might be falling for. This clean Hallmark movie like romance had plenty of sweet and funny moments.
Winter of Second Chances has a story line that’s been told before: boy and girl were high school sweethearts that married too young and separated only to discover years later that they never divorced when one of them wants to marry someone else. Chase should have never been with Jessica. She seems way too high maintenance and selfish. Chastity should have spoken up more often and told Chase how she felt before she let him get away twice. This was a nice second chance romance this plenty of funny and sweet moments, but it could have been better.
In Spring for Best Friends, Olivia and Ryan have been close best friends for years. Her friends convince her to finally ask him to be more than friends when new hair stylist Willow shows up and asks him out. Olivia doesn’t want to get in the way of their relationship. Plus she fears if Ryan doesn’t reciprocate her feelings it could ruin their friendship. Little does she know that Ryan has similar feelings but never acted on them because he thought Olivia never wanted to be more than friends. There was a lot of back and forth and misunderstandings on the path to true love in this sweet best friends romance. I loved all the cute store names in True Love.
I could read books set in True Love, Arizona forever. These are amazing.
Staying Inn for Valentine’s is a heartwarming small town romance. I felt like Penelope and Devon could be my friends. The longer Devon stayed in True Love, the less sure he was that he needed to leave. Penelope loved her town and was delighted to show it off. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in True Love.
Winter of Second Chances is a sweet, small town, second chance romance. Chase & Chas, friends since age 3, married and then divorced. Wait, this is a meant to be couple in True Love. Hmmm. Turns out Chase’s lawyer discovers the divorce papers were never filed. Chase and Chastity have a lot of issues and a lot of chemistry. Only Ms. Boyd could write a story where the only place for Chase to stay in town is with Chastity! This was a really fun book to read as a storm closes the only road out of True Love. then Chase’s car won’t start, etc. Meanwhile Chase’s fiance texts or calls every twenty minutes. I have said too much, you need to read this book. It is great!
Spring for Best Friends is the sweet, clean story of Ryan and Olivia. They have been best friends forever. Secretly each crushes on the other, but they never act on these feelings for fear of losing a best friend. Will nearly losing each other anyway finally make these two people realize they are meant for each other? Wonderful characters, a town named True Love and small town daily living kept my interest until I reached the end of the book.
Don;t miss this chance to binge on True Love!
