Wow! What a conclusion . There was never a dull moment in Amy and Garrett’s life . The is always some kind of drama happening between because of their lack of honest communication or lack of dealing with an issue straight away. Eventually they learnt from their mistakes and stop keeping secrets and try to communicate better. This story is full of substance and very depressive. In spite of all the issues between this couple, they love each and they manage to kept the sex between they hot and spicy
The Seven Year Itch
Truly, Deeply, and Forever is genuinely a unique story being told. Instead of starting the tale where a new couple begins Mrs. Cox began their story seven years in.
With an infant child Amy and Garret have found their easy, route lives disrupted. Discontentment from both individuals begins to show and causes tension between the pair.
I thoroughly enjoyed parts one and two of Truly, Deeply, and Forever. The uniqueness and familiar faces bring so much fun into such a great novel. Mrs. Cox has a real hit on her hands.
Amy and Garrett’s story started in book one of the same title. I fell into infatuation with them there because they are a typical married couple with typical married problems. They have a toddler so their relationship as a couple has taken a backseat. And the strain begins to show. The story is told from Amy’s point of view and some of what they go through, I would have liked to see from both points of view. They need to work on their marriage away from their daily life. Amy has found some incriminating photos on Garrett’s phone and she runs to the one person she shouldn’t. Thankfully her brother arranges for the two of them to be alone, far from everything that seems to be between them. And they hash out in a not so calm manor their problems. I’m not saying the problems are solved but they regroup and are stronger for their time together. The photos are of an intern at Garrett’s office that has become obsessed with him. Amy has the faith in Garrett that he didn’t do what she who shall not be named is accusing. The love that she has for Garrett has to see them through some difficult times. And his love for her has to prove his faithfulness.
This couple has a lot to deal with in a seemingly short amount of time. I loved the pace of how this is written and the emotion that it caused in me. Even though I wanted to jump through the page and throttle one of the characters. It made me look at my own marriage and think about what if this happened to me? I respect Amy and Garrett for the strength that they found on one another.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading the conclusion of Amy and Garrett’s story. After the tough issues they faced in part one, part two found them vowing to work on themselves and their marriage; no more lies, no more secrets, etc. But it seemed that they were destined to keep slipping back into the old patterns and behaviors that got them there in the first place. Little by little, tho, they seem to start putting the pieces back together and getting themselves into a better place. But it’s not without a lot of work and a lot of ups and downs and roadblocks along the way.
The story is amazing, the characters wonderful and heartfelt (with a few exceptions) and the ending will leave you in smiles. If you aren’t reading the books in The Dark and Damaged Hearts Series, you are depriving yourself of some fantastic reading! I recommend them all!
True, Deep and Forever part 2 Of Amy and Garret’s Story.
Amy and Garret are trying to get their troubled marriage back on track, they have both neglected each other since Before Henry so when Amy has to tell Garret about who Dax really is Garret’s jealously shows it’s head and Amy likes it. Then through into the mix a deranged intern who gets out of control that Amy and Garret get sent away on holiday for a week to sort here marriage out by James.
When they get home with everything better you would think life would be better but there is more trouble in store for the couple. Will Garret be able to forgive himself for all the trouble?
This second part of the story was so good I couldn’t put the book down it had me from page 1 till the end, no matter what Whitley Cox writes she delivers 5star books. Can’t wait for what comes next.
Part two of True, Deep and Forever seized my attention from the very start. Amy and Garret’s story is one that so many of us can relate to in some shape or form. When everyday life becomes busy, sometimes passion and connection between that one person that holds your heart gets pushed to the side. This pair hit rock bottom as their lives become complicated from outside sources as lies and secrets start to wreak havoc. As their relationship starts to suffocate it will take one of our past favourites to force these two to communicate and realise what is important. As these two start to fight for each other and the vows they hold dear they grab onto each other tightly as everything they treasure is put at risk. Sometimes it takes nearly losing everything you consider your world to make you see clearly what is important. This conclusion to True, Deep and Forever gives you a little of everything that you could want in a romance story, it is emotional, packed full of drama, will have your anxiety levels on high alert and is so, so sexy that it will leave you breathless and totally satisfied. Their story will have you realising that a love so True, Deep and Forever is worth every bit of the fight.
