It’s funny. It fluff reading but who doesn’t need a mindless read sometimes. The characters remind me of some of my relatives. Ha.
Had fun reading this suspenseful story. Enjoyed the characters.
I kept hoping this book would get better. Unfortunately, the characters were unlikeable and the story was boring. I like a good cozy mystery set in Amish country. This book was disappointing.
It was a fun read.
Easy read during these trying timed!!!
I thought this book was very interesting.
It was more of a 3 and a half so rounded up to 4 stars. The characters just didn’t really resonate with me. The story was fun. I did enjoy it.
I loved the interactions of the two elder women they appear slightly senile but consistently surprise their housemate.
The action moves at a decent pace. Easy to keep tabs on the characters in the story as the characters are limited. Good book to pick up over a weekend.
A neat fast read, colorful characters, a story with a twist. Loved it!
I enjoyed the mystery of what took place in the bakery! The author has built a good foundation for being able to continue to write about the main H and h. And quirky Mister Crumbles added a fun note!!
It was an enjoyable book
O love Amish stories.
This book was truly an escape from reality. It kept my interest.
Fun read!
Very enjoyable!!
Being from Pennsylvania, reading about the setting was fun. Fun watching the relationships develop. And, add a cat to any story makes it better.
I fell I love with the characters!
Good vs. evil in many forms and disguises. Aged yet sprightly sisters who have tales to tell of their own. There is much to enjoy in this classical, yet unique, whodunit.
Jane Delight returns to Pennsylvania after her marriage of 30 years ends in divorce. Short of money and with no home she moves into the apartment above her twin sister Rebecca’s cupcake shop. Rebecca is Amish and Jane’s identical twin. Soon after her return, a man is murdered in the cupcake shop. Along with 2 older sisters who return just after the murder, Jane looks for the murderer to save her own skin.
This is an enjoyable mystery and I look forward to more in the series.
