STARTING OVER… Brave. Bold. Brainy. One woman reached for the gold, one for the law, one for the university, and one ran as far from home as possible. But often, the best laid plans fall apart, and Starting Over is the only thing to do.True-Blue Texan, Book 1 –A fish out of water. University instructor, Katherine Kirby, reluctantly faces a new city and a new job. How could she, who was used … could she, who was used to teaching eager undergraduates at a prestigious college, relate to a class of adult high school dropouts seeking an equivalency diploma? She has no family, no love in her life, and no choice but to jump into her new position and do the best she can. After all, it’s only temporary while she gets her career back on track.
Her new students, however, begin to touch her heart. Especially the tall, dark Texan in the second row.
Nick Martinelli’s presence in her class is a secret — from his parents, his customers and the entire city. But his interest in Katherine is no secret. In his desire to teach the teacher, however, Nick learns a little something himself.

Enjoyed and a very quick read!
What a great book about second chances for all three Nick, Kathy & Jeremy. A well written heart-tugging story that I was teary eyed a couple of times. Could not put it down. Thank you Linda.
A great read with wonderful characters. An original plot line I really enjoyed. I recommend this book!
Good read for a lazy afternoon.
Very difficult book to get into. Found it written to a formula.
5 STARS I loved this book.
I am enjoying this series of books very much.
The story is well developed as are the characters. The book is a clean read with some foreplay descriptions but readable by most over 13.
Icryed through most of the book it made me think and feel
Loved the book. Very interesting with a great plot.
I really enjoyed this book! I loved the story and the characters. A truly good book and one you will enjoy until the end.
Loved this book. Can’t wait for rest of series, too.
This book had more meat than many romances, moving along without a lot of filler. As a former educator of at-risk youth, I particularly enjoyed that aspect.
Over all it was a good story line. I felt it left a couple of issues hanging in the end that I wished would have been wrapped up. I will probably get the next one in the series.
very enjoyable read.
I enjoyed this story. As a former teacher I especially liked the author’s depiction of how involved the main character go in her students’ lives.
