STARTING OVER… Brave. Bold. Brainy. One woman reached for the gold, one for the law, one for the university, and one ran as far from home as possible. But often, the best laid plans fall apart, and Starting Over is the only thing to do.True-Blue Texan, Book 1 –A fish out of water. University instructor, Katherine Kirby, reluctantly faces a new city and a new job. How could she, who was used … could she, who was used to teaching eager undergraduates at a prestigious college, relate to a class of adult high school dropouts seeking an equivalency diploma? She has no family, no love in her life, and no choice but to jump into her new position and do the best she can. After all, it’s only temporary while she gets her career back on track.
Her new students, however, begin to touch her heart. Especially the tall, dark Texan in the second row.
Nick Martinelli’s presence in her class is a secret — from his parents, his customers and the entire city. But his interest in Katherine is no secret. In his desire to teach the teacher, however, Nick learns a little something himself.

This author has lots books. Her style is never boring
Sometime the most practical education doesn’t come with a degree.
It was good really better than I thought due to the title. It was a good read.
sweet story, good holiday read
Absolutely wonderful book. No nitty gritty sex scenes although there was sex in the story…..very well done!!!! Thank you for the great read!!!!
This book had wonderfully developed characters, some mystery, a warm romance and a happy outcome. Interwoven into the story was a real need for people to see the importance of foster care and adoption. Well done Linda!
Lots of feelings in this book. I loved reading book one of the “Starting Over” series. Katrin and Nick’s stories of heartache turn into so much more. Jeremy’s story is filled with heartbreak also. Their lives coming together in such a great way. Their hearts as big as Texas.
Loved this story and the characters. I’ve always had a soft spot for foster children and loved the social worker in the story. If only all the kids could be as lucky Jeremy. Thanks for sharing their family.
This story had a little more depth than some other romances. I felt the characters were written really well. Highly recommend this book.
Sweet story
This story rang true about how some people overcome their learning disabilities or stumbling blocks to achieve their goals to improve their lives.
Two People willing to give the unplanned a try,
I loved this book!
Enjoyed it very much.
A easy read, light reading a feel good book! I would read more by this author.
Loved this book. Just enough sex, excitement. Had my husband read it and he also liked it. Thanks for writing such a great story.
This is a book which will draw you into the characters and stories. I found myself buying two more books in the series.
I love how the characters are not just concerned about them selves, in fact they put their desires aside to help others. And how each learn to accept help when they didnt want to admit that they would be better off in so doing. Perseverance and endurance are voth prevelent.
What an enjoyable story. I could clearly see where each of the lead characters came from … their angst and motives. It kept a very good pace and flow.
clean sex
