This is the first in the series by Lisa B. Kamps New Orleans Bourdons series and it’s a great read that I enjoyed reading and Highly recommend. It’s an awesome introduction into a new series and the New Orleans Bourdons with a well developed story and great characters with an awesome chemistry that pulled me in from the beginning and I had to read all through the night until I finished. It’s Nate and Addy’s story and was a great start to the series but was way to short and I can’t wait to read more in this series.

Dylan Gleason is a hockey player whose troublemaker ways got him passed along to the New Orleans Bourdons. But when he comes home and finds a woman he has never seen before in his bed, he’s not sure what’s going on, especially since she is wearing a wedding dress. Morgan Raymond is a runaway bride who had keys for Dylan’s place back when it belonged to someone else. He lets her stay and they both become comfortable with the arrangement.
Morgan realizes her ex’s mother will be looking for her and she needs to get away. Yet Dylan convinces her to stay right there. Is Dylan willing to protect her if her ex’s mother tracks her down? Are Dylan and Morgan ready to acknowledge that they want more from each other now? Maybe a committed relationship . . . or perhaps a HEA?
This was a cute kind of story that I was quickly chuckling over when they first met. The characters were likable and the story line, though unbelievable, was sweet. Grab your copy and see how they navigated their situation to finally decide what they wanted.
Book 2 in the Bourdons series about a minor league hockey team based in New Orleans. Dylan comes home one night to find a woman in a wedding dress in his bed and being the friendly guy he is, lets her stay for a couple of days. A couple of days turns into more when Dylan and Morgan become physically involved. Morgan has secrets and attempts to leave, but not only are her feeelings holding her back, but new friends Addy and Jacqui always seem to know when she wants to run.
This was an easy read without heavy angst, just enough to make Dylan and Morgan fight for each other. Looking forward to more of the Bourdons and would LOVE to see Jacqui find love!!

Morgan is a girl on the run and she finds her way into Dylan’s bed by mistake. What happens next is a fantastic story.

Morgan runs out of her wedding before she makes a serious mistake, only to end up in Dylan’s bed….but wait, this is suppose to be someone elses apartment. There’s some instant chemisty between these two and while Morgan talks about leaving Dylan seems to be able to talk her into staying. She knows she needs to leave before her ex’s mother catches up with her but she doesn’t want to leave Dylan. He’s super protective of her and Morgan likes the idea of someone wanting her to stick around. Quick read and good addition to book 1. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving my review.
With engaging characters and a good story line this book is a great addition to the series and I am eagerly awaiting to see what happens next.

Troublemaker started out with a bang when Dylan finds runaway bride, Morgan, sleeping in his apartment still wearing her wedding dress. It was a sweet romance with Dylan as an average hockey player, but being on the ice is all he’s ever wanted. Morgan is homeless, broke and leery of letting anyone get too close. The characters were likeable, but the story was very slow moving. There weren’t any wow moments.

Yay! Awesome book. I just love how Lisa writes her hockey books! This one is so fun. What happens when a hot hockey hunk finds a woman in his bed wearing a wedding dress? All heck breaks loose, friendships are born, and the perfect love blooms where you least expect it. Sprinkle in some great hockey and it is perfect!
Dylan is a professional hockey player who has had some trouble in the past and was traded to the New Orleans Bourdons. He comes home to his apartment one day and finds a girl in a wedding dress in his bed. Morgan had left her groom at the altar and thought she had gone to her friend’s apartment that she had a key for, but her friend had moved. When Dylan heard her story about how she had no money and nowhere else to go he let her stay at his apartment because he felt sorry for her even though his friends told him that it was probably a big scam. They start to become friendly and sexually involved but Morgan knows that she must leave before she becomes too attached. She makes plans to take a bus to California for a new start but each time he talks her into staying for another week. Will Dylan be able to protect her from her former fiancé’s mother? Will Dylan and Morgan admit that they care about each other and want to try to have a lasting relationship?
I give this story 4.5 stars. The story line seemed pretty implausible but it was still a fun story to read. The author did a great job making me like the characters and hope for an HEA. The epilogue provided a great ending for their story.

A fun read with great characters! Dylan was a a sweet, hot, hockey planner who happens to meet runaway bride Morgan. What happens next made for an unexpected chemistry that only blossoms as their connection heats up. I enjoyed the characters development throughout the storyline. An enjoyable read to the series that doesn’t disappoint.
If you like hockey romances, you will enjoy this book. Dylan and Morgan are interesting, well-developed characters with chemistry. The story is interesting, well-written with a happily ever after. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. In addition to receiving an arc, I purchased the book for my collection.
This book is about Dylan and Morgan. They meet when Dylan finds Morgan asleep in his bed wearing a wedding dress. It turns out she had a key from a previous tenant and didn’t know the lady had moved. We then find out Morgan ran out on her wedding and has nowhere else to go. Dylan, being too much of a nice guy, let her stay with him. We then see their relationship begin, with them encountering some issues along the way. In the end they work it out.
There were a couple negatives in this book for me, which factored in to my 4 star rating. First, I did not like Morgan’s character being that broke and homeless. I would have liked her character to not be so needy financially. Second, I did not buy that Morgan forget about the jewelry. I think that Issue is making her character come off as a bit stupid.
This is a good addition to this book series. If you enjoy romance books centered around hockey, then I think this is a book for you.

In the beginning I had a little b it of difficulties getting into the story, it went slow and it just did not get me.
But I loved Dylan, being just a big sweetheart as he finds Morgan, wearing a wedding gown, sleeping in his bed. He let’s her stay and off course they fall for each other. This was a difficult read for me but a sweet story non the least. I am curious about the next story.

A sports romance between an ice hockey player, Dylan Gleason, and a runaway bride, Morgan Raymond. The connection was quick and intense. The characters were wonderful. I enjoyed reading a fun story.
Excellent! Another entertaining hockey romance by Lisa Kamps! Dylan and Morgan are great characters in this enjoyable romance that includes sweet, wonderful and funny moments! Enjoy!!
This book had the trifecta- sports(Hockey my favourite), sexy, and all the swoon. Who doesn’t need a good book that makes you feel all the feelings? This was the perfect mix of swoon, witty banter, heat, feels, fabulous characters and hockey. Pure entertainment from the storyline to the cast of characters I was glued to my seat. The writing, the characters, and the storyline is fantastic and kept me way past my bedtime. Another hit book from this amazing author. Happy reading everyone!!
Wow. Another great story in this hockey series. I didn’t think anyone could beat Addy and Nathan but I was wrong. I absolutely fell in love with Morgan. She is so determined to not rely on anyone and she has so much other baggage to drag around that it weighs her down almost to the point that she can’t move. Then there is Dylan. He has his own demons of his own making to contend with, that keeps him holding back without explanation. Together they journey toward the future with blinders on. I love the world building of the team and these friends. The depth of the characters makes them real. The drama is exceptionally well done. I would like to know more about Dylan’s past just because, not that it is really needed, it would just enhance my enjoyment. The meet cute is another reason this gets five stars. The book is well written, moves smoothly and logically and gives us passion, heat, goosebumps, a few tears and lots of joy. I cannot wait for the next one. I love revisiting with the team and Jacqui and Addy.
I really enjoyed the second book in Lisa’s new hockey series – The Bourdon’s.
Dylan is such a sweetheart and he was everything Morgan didn’t realize she needed or deserved. Their romance was fairly fast paced, but with all the time they have spent together and how well they just clicked it made for truly wonderful reading.
With the snippet of who’s book is up next I cannot wait to get my hands on it!!!
