When your best friend falls in love with a rock star, you either join her in her fixation, or you spend a lot of nights eating ice cream and watching Netflix by yourself. If you can’t beat them, join them, isn’t that what they say? While Bree—my best friend since forever—couldn’t get enough of “Trouble” and their lead singer, Rob Burns, I set my sights a little lower – and to the left. Rob’s … Rob’s immediate left, that is, at least on stage. Tyler Cook was Trouble’s lead guitarist, a tall, glorious, dark blonde, beautiful specimen of a man who could make ovaries explode and panties drop with just one twist of that smirky smile of his.
Of course, it was all just in good fun, two girls going to Trouble concerts and screaming ourselves hoarse along with the rest of the fans. Bree’s fascination with Rob, and mine with Tyler, was a fun little fantasy, a distraction from our boring everyday lives, mine as a dental hygienist and Bree’s as an elementary school music teacher, until one day the “what-if” game Bree liked to play—as in, “What if we met Trouble some day?” and “What if they asked us to go on tour with them?” —actually happened.
Actually. Happened.
One minute we were going to see Trouble in concert, and the next, we were backstage, face-to-face with the real-live, sexy thing. I never expected to meet rock god Tyler Cook. I never expected to end up on a tour bus with sex god Tyler Cook. I certainly never expected to fall in love with the man, that beautiful, broken, wild man, or become so hooked I simply couldn’t give him up—no matter what it cost, or who I hurt, even myself.
Because sometimes you have to stop asking yourself, “What if?”
Sometimes you have to find out what happens next.

This is not your sweet, typical and expected romance. Which is what distinguishes and makes this book so good. You get to see the consequences of addiction but how love and family play a pivotal role in getting Tyler and Katie the help they need and the possibility of a HEA. Ms Kitt gives us fun, banter, steam and enough angst to have us engaged and wanting more.

Now this book went in a completely different direction than what I thought was going to happen. Going on tour with a popular band and then getting in way over her head. Katie was strong at first but she let Tyler manipulate her over a long period of time. She got swept up and starting drowning before she knew what was happening. Tyler loves Katie but can’t help bringing her down with him. He has got a major secret that will continue to be his down fall of he doesn’t tell. This was very different then other rock star books I’ve read. I really loved it.

A story that has a lot of things both Katie and Tyler have to learn to overcome if they are going to be together. This story has two people who come to depend on drugs and the things they have to do to get past their addiction. A well-written story. A well written, gripping, raw, extremely emotional and intense story of drama, angst, witty sarcasm, steamy chemistry, love and so much more. This book played with my heart strings.
I volunteered to review an advance reader copy of this book.

Katie has worked for a dentist until she got fired. She loves the band Trouble and she gets her dad to get her front row tickets when they come to town. She and her friend go see the band and get to meet the lead singer and lead guitarist. Tyler is the lead guitarist who is wild and will do about anything. When Tyler and Katie meet, they just clicked. Tyler asked Katie Togo on the road with the band and she does. She learns a lot about traveling with the band and Tyler. This book is so good you will not want to put it down.

Great rockstar romance! Not only does Selena gives us fantastic characters full of spice and sass, she gives them to us perfectly imperfect.
Tyler and Katie were immediately drawn to each other, a definite lust at first sight. After being in the road, their dependant personalities rear their ugly heads.
Troubled Times is smartly written, drawing the reader in quickly. While I feel the ending leaves you hanging, I understand there is more to come for these two. I’m not usually a fan of this type of endings, but I’m hooked….I need more!!!

This is definitely a good read with a sweet beginning, a dark middle and an awesome ending. Katie and her friend, Sabrina, have front row seats to a concert put on by her favorite band, Trouble. She meets Tyler, the lead guitarist, and they end up spending the night together. They just click when they meet so it wasn’t a surprise when she ended up on the road with them. But then the dark middle happens, and it gets really deep. It will dig down inside you and tug on your heart strings. Grab the Kleenex because you will need them. This book will pull things out of you before you get the to the last page. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book that I received from Book Sprout.
This is a spin off to the Trouble books featuring Rob and Sabrina. This story is from Katie’s point of view, starting when they met rock stars, Tyler and Rob. This book tells the story of how they met, fell for each other and try to stay together through all the drama of rock star life on tour. This book can be read as a standalone without missing anything from the first books as it’s the same story but from a different POV. I loved this story!

this is an amazing rock star romance that will have you gripping the edge of your seat and shouting at the pages of the book in emotion with the characters, it is deeply emotional, and will pull at every one of your heart strings and make you want more and more of these characters as you read along..

This was short, but not sweet story about Katie and Tyler. This story is filled with drama, sex, and the complications all leading to hellish events. Read the last chapter it is so powerful the story sucks you in and I couldn’t put it down until the end. Selena Kitt has written one hell of a story I have no trouble recommending this book it is soooooooooo good. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
When Katie met Ty, the lead guitarist of the rock group ‘Trouble’, it was love at first sight. But it was not the happy kind of love, that can stand on its own. Both have baggage and Ty is a drug addict when he meets Katie. Having to choose between being with Ty plus drugs or being without Ty, she chose the self-destructive way.
This book is a story of love that reaches rock bottom and the difficult way of recovering – mentally and emotionally.
A good description and probably quite accurate. A difficult story, not for everyone’s mood, but maybe necessary.

Katie and Tyler are great together. It’s a good fantasy. It would be nice to see an interracial romance. Unrealistic to keep portraying white women with white men only.

Tyler and Katie meet outside of a concert. Then they decide to spend time together after the concert. Their relationship takes off from there. Life on th droid with a rock star can be tough. Can their love overcome some tough obstacles?

This is a story of Katie and her best friend Sabrina who goes to a concert for the troubles band and meet Rob burns leads singer and tyler cook lead guitarist. But when Katie goes with tyler trouble happens . Very cute.
I received this book for Free to Give My True & Honest Review.
It was really good to see how things went on the tour with Trouble for Tyler & Katie & how things changed for the worse for Katie & backwards for Tyler, though it happened SO quickly but that what happens when you need to block out the demons in you, as it is with these 2.
REALLY looking forward to their next episode…
This look into Katie and Tyler’s story is fantastic. I cannot wait to see if more books will follow. You will laugh and cry in this book and hope that it will be better in the end. It also shows the stark life of a musician which is not normally shown.

This was a great read. It was gripping, fun and sexy. The main characters were both likeable. Being partial to a bit of sarcasm myself some of the things coming out of Katie’s mouth made me lol – especially during the argument with the bimbo. Tyler was hot – a lovable bad boy.The banter between them was amusing not cheesy like it can be. I liked the strong connection they had and the steamy chemistry. It was a very intense relationship and a little crazy.. a little bit of a train wreck towards the end but great to read! Was quite emotional at the end hoping they would work things out and be able to be together!
