When your best friend falls in love with a rock star, you either join her in her fixation, or you spend a lot of nights eating ice cream and watching Netflix by yourself. If you can’t beat them, join them, isn’t that what they say? While Bree—my best friend since forever—couldn’t get enough of “Trouble” and their lead singer, Rob Burns, I set my sights a little lower – and to the left. Rob’s … Rob’s immediate left, that is, at least on stage. Tyler Cook was Trouble’s lead guitarist, a tall, glorious, dark blonde, beautiful specimen of a man who could make ovaries explode and panties drop with just one twist of that smirky smile of his.
Of course, it was all just in good fun, two girls going to Trouble concerts and screaming ourselves hoarse along with the rest of the fans. Bree’s fascination with Rob, and mine with Tyler, was a fun little fantasy, a distraction from our boring everyday lives, mine as a dental hygienist and Bree’s as an elementary school music teacher, until one day the “what-if” game Bree liked to play—as in, “What if we met Trouble some day?” and “What if they asked us to go on tour with them?” —actually happened.
Actually. Happened.
One minute we were going to see Trouble in concert, and the next, we were backstage, face-to-face with the real-live, sexy thing. I never expected to meet rock god Tyler Cook. I never expected to end up on a tour bus with sex god Tyler Cook. I certainly never expected to fall in love with the man, that beautiful, broken, wild man, or become so hooked I simply couldn’t give him up—no matter what it cost, or who I hurt, even myself.
Because sometimes you have to stop asking yourself, “What if?”
Sometimes you have to find out what happens next.

What an exciting read with explosive hot chemistry, witty, fun, exciting, intense, edgy, and captivating twists! Emotional must read rollercoaster ride!
Great book. It is suspenseful, fun, emotional, exciting and so much more. No spoilers. Read the blurb. I really enjoyed reading this one. Couldn’t put it down. Her books are always good and a must read. I was given a review copy by booksprout and voluntarily review it.
This is an intense, steamy and enjoyable read that has stunning core of darkness running through it. With a well written a engaging story that starts out cute and fun (Fangirl Rock Star game of what if) to harsh and gritty (Living in the Rock Star world and drug abuse). So yes, there are some very deep and dark things in this book, so if you are looking for breezy and easy this book is not for you. If you want a complex read that will keep you on edge and put your emotions through the wringer then grab a copy because this book delivers.
A lot of bands have fans that will fallow them from city to city. Some fans can be crazy and others mellow. Fun time for bands is after the show. The bands have to travel from town to town for the next day or that night depends on when and were they have to be the next day. So there is not a lot of free time. This story is a little crazy but not bad. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a honest review.
Katie and her friend Sabrina get front row tickets to their favorite concert. While trying to sneak in the back way to avoid being late they run in to a few members of the band. Literally. As try try to open the door out come the band members and smack right in to them.
Katie and Tyler, the guitarist, hit it off instantly. Once the show is live they spend the next 24 hours together which leads to Katie being asked to go on tour with him. Seeing as she is leaving nothing behind, she joins him
This leads to a rock and roll lifestyle that she is going to have to survive.
With all the drama that goes on one can never know how this will work or how far Katie will fall just to be with Tyler.

This is Tyler and Katie’s story, they meet and find that they are attracted to each other and they move way faster than both of them are prepared for things changed quickly and not for the best. This was a pretty good book but it just didn’t end the way I thought it would have from the previous book. Short story. I was given an Arc copy by BookSprout without obligation, I am providing an honest review.
Katie goes with her friend to a concert and meets two of the band members before the concert outside.
While he friend goes on with the singer Katie is more into Tyler the gitar player.
Since he has the next day off they have fun together in her town. The zoo experience is so special.
Tyler invites her to join them on tour and this brings her in trouble. Because he introduces her not only to many hot moments, but also to drugs, going further and further. Till Katie gets a wake up call, when Tyler almost dies in his own vomit because of the drugs.
She is going to win the battle to get clean again which isn’t easy, but not seeing Tyler is even worse.
Heavy and bit dark story with some bright lights in it.
If you in for some rock and roll this is your story. I liked it and couldn’t stop reading to find out what was going to happen next.
It start off with Katie wanting meet her rockstar crush Tyler Cook of the band Trouble he may not have been the lead vocalist but she had dreamed about him forever little did she know that her dreams was going to become reality when she convinced her best friend Bree to sneak behind the back door venues of the concert hoping to get closer to the guys in the band. Where they literally was pulling on the doors it swung open hitting both her and Bree on the head to her surprise out walks Rob Bruns her bestfriend crush The vocalists of Trouble and Tyler Cook her crush the lead guitarist of Trouble. Katie with her sassy mouth and her witty sarcasm caught Tyler attention immediately she didnt think anything about it she wasn’t anything special just a name less face in the sea of groupies. If she was lucky they might even hook up. Needless to say what happened next was a emotional rollacoaster. Definitely not your typical love story I laugh and cry not expecting the turn event that occurred. Words cannot describe how I felt after I got done reading this book so much raw emotion it’s definitely a must read. I received a free copy via Booksprout I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.
A romantic yet very gritty love story. This is a three-book series so we are only being presented with the framework of the story in this first segment. The main male and female characters met by happenstance. They had an immediate connection that morphed very quickly into a relationship. One analogy that the main female character made about their relationship while on the road was that it was like “immersion dating”. Ms. Kitt provided very insightful information about starting to take drugs through to addiction and on to rehab and starting the journey to reclaiming your life and healing. Very emotional reading. A difficult topic sensitively written about. Well done!
I voluntarily received an advance review copy of this novel via Booksprout and I am leaving an honest and unbiased review. I have no affiliation to this author.
I enjoyed reading this story but I found it emotionally draining by the end. The relationship was snarky and fun at times, but hard to read when it moved towards the end because of its intensity. They were broken. There was love but it was more complicated than that. I think that Katie was a bit jealous of Bree and she wanted what Bree had, in my opinion. Tyler was made me so mad when he did what he did to Katie.
Falling for a bad rockstar romance story, it is intense, drama-filled, and emotional. Delightful strong characters. It is a well-written book and a pleasure to read.
This story has left me with so many mixed feelings. I’d seen parts of Katie and Tyler’s romance while reading Rob and Sabrina’s, so I knew that I wanted to see the rest of the story. As individuals, I love both Katie and Tyler. He’s such a cocky, tragic mess. And her fierce and spunky attitude hides an equally broken heart. I love the two of them together. Katie has some amazing snarky banter in this book that I will cherish for years; such as “Maybe you can eat some of that makeup you’re wearing. Then you can try to be pretty on the inside too.” I’m just not enamored with the way their drug problems are portrayed in this book. Addiction has taken people from my life. And knowing how important this aspect of their relationship is to the story, it felt slightly unrealistic and romanticized here. I though Rob and Sabrina’s stories painted the addictions in a more accurate light. Maybe, because this has such a personal connection for me, it means that I’m not quite the right audience for this particular book.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through Booksprout.
Excellent book. Highly recommend this book to everyone. Excellent story line kept your interest and attention making it hard to put down.
This insrallment of the trouble series was an okay read. This story picks up from Katie’s perspective when they first meet Trouble and Katie falls hard for Tyler. It follows Katie and Tyler from the time they meet until after Katie joins the tour with them. You find out what happens on the tour and how Katie becomes a junkie.
I received an arc of the book and am voluntarily fairly leaving a review.
