After witnessing a drug-deal gone wrong, they set off a deadly chain of events that lands them in a sea of intrigue involving a best friend, the Mexican Federal Police, the DEA, US Coast … US Coast Guard, the INS, and a nasty drug cartel.
This fast-paced adventure is a must-read for anyone who has ever dreamed of cutting the lines and shoving off to adventure.

Once you start reading it, hard to put down
An into into the Gratz Jinx series.
Love these books. Awesome wit.
You feel like your a passenger on board the boat with the two main characters.
Just a fun read with a group of interesting characters.
You will not be disappointed and will enjoy s the time fly’s.
Good story – kept me interested. This is what I refer to as a casual read .
I enjoyed the characters, location, and the many different situations the 2 main characters got themselves involved in, right to the end!
A good action packed read. No obvious errors…in the plot, spelling, geography, etc. You can concentrate on the story..which was told well.
Excellent as always for Jinx Schwartz. Her books are always worth reading.
Poor ending
Loved this book. Would be a great summer beach vacation story.
Kept my interest start to finish. Learned a little geography to boot!
This is the best series. Great characters & such fun!
Fast paced, good read
This is a mega fun action packed book with surprises happening to these two bright and charming friends.
one of these best book I have ever read
Always love these books. Simply hilarious! Waiting for more.
This book starts a little slow but uses that time to introduce the characters and the setting. The descriptions of the area and the author’s knowledge of the area are excellent. The last part of book is a real thrill!
Great story about a ghost hunter who can see demons and she has to slay them. Great writing
Have read many of her other books featuring Hetta Coffey. This is Hetta, but in a completely different situation. This is not as amusing as the others, not as fun, but still an easy read. As an aside, I “read” this on cd and every cd has an issue. That didn’t help my impression of the book.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Came to realize that I have no desire to travel the Sea of Cortez or to Mexico.
