They all thought they were about to die . . . and they were right. Dazy Perrit was an underworld kingpin until a hail of bullets sent him into early retirement. Ben Jensen was a well-connected publisher until a determined gunman severed all his connections. Eugene R. Poor made novelties like exploding cigars until one of them blew him to kingdom come. Only the gourmet sleuth, Nero Wolfe, and his … his sidekick, Archie Goodwin, can solve the deadly equation of murder times three.

Nero Wolfe is a classic for a reason. Wonderful writing from one of the true masters of the genre.
Any mystery fan must read Rex Stouts Nero Wolfe series. They are the best!
Have gone to bed late many times from these dang books….you would think they would get predicable after awhile, but no way! Always worth the time and money to read
You can’t go wrong with a Rex Stout.
Another great Nero Wolf novel
A great Nero Wolfe mystery
I have read Rex Stout books for years. My favorite character is Archie Goodwin, who “narrates” the books.
I enjoy the books, the banter between Nero Wolf and Goodwin and also the police officer is just too funny. It is always a surprise to learn who the ‘bad’ guy is and what makes Mr. Wolf figure it out.
It’s Nero Wolfe and Archie. What more do you need to know?
Great author! I’ve read his entire series in paperback and am giving a second read on kindle.
Great detective series. I will read them all.
Nero Wolfe and Archie never fail! They are timeless.
Vintage Nero Wolfe. This is three relatively short mysteries. Not short enough to be short stories, but good lengths.
Stout spins terrific tales and is as classic as Sherlock Holmes.
With Rex Stout’s dry and efficient style and good humor, the reader is transported back to the age of roadsters, formal living and classic detective wprk. I am a lifelong fan of Nero Wolf and Archie Goodwin and totally enjoyed this book.
