Trouble in Mind by Donna S. Frelick is the second book in the Interstellar Rescue series. This book can be read as a stand-alone however both are well worth the read.
As with the first book this one takes you on an exciting intergalactic adventure. The main characters were strong and interesting. You felt engaged with them from the beginning. You easily get behind them.
The story had a natural flow about it. Once I started reading I was completely lost in what was happening. I found the book was over before I knew it because I was so engrossed in what was happening.
This has been a great series so far and I can’t wait to see what else is to come.
Wow! This was a rip-roaring good book. The main characters Alana and Gabriel are very strong, confident and oh so memorable. Donna S. Frelick in Trouble in Mind, once again introduces us to characters that are so forceful and colorful that you do not forget them. That’s a very good thing because we meet them again. Lots of action, lots of suspense. This is the second book in this series, and I believe I am hooked. An unforgettable love story is interwoven with the deeper mystery. If you are looking for something to keep you up all night, this is the one for you!
Trouble in Mind was a great 5 star read and book two in the Interstellar Rescue series.
I got pulled in right from the beginning.
We meet several characters in the beginning, we get to know them and get the connection between them.
A woman and her son have been kidnapped while out on a family picnic, the husband was badly beaten and had a loss of time. Lana is an FBI agent that gets called in on the case. Gabriel is the best extractor in the galaxy and a touch telepath, he is called in as a favor for a friend and goes to earth to help find them. Lana isn’t thrilled to have him working with her, but his talents do come in handy at times. There is definitely an attraction that also builds between these two.
There is something special about the missing mother and son, special enough that they have certain people looking for them. Will Lana and Gabriel be able to find them before the others?
Overall I really enjoyed this read, with several POV’s it was really easy to follow and get pulled in. We get steamy moments, violence, sci-fi, and so much more. This author does a great job with her writing and pulls you right into her world. This can be read as a stand alone, however I suggest reading book one, it will help you connect to this story better. If you’re looking for a great sci-fi romance series, 1-click and get started today.
This is the second book in this series, I enjoyed it just as much as the first. This is a well written story that had some sitting on the edge of your seat moments as well as just a great adventure. I enjoyed the characters as well, they are strong and will keep you turning pages. Lana and Gabriel team up to find a kidnapped boy and his mother but the problem is there could be more than meets the eye with the situation. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens with them.
