You can hide from your past. But you can’t hide from love…Marine veteran Austin Flint knows all about trouble. He fought it in Afghanistan, and now he battles it at home as the head of Six Points Tactical & Security. In his line of work, he can’t afford to be distracted by anything…or anyone, and that includes Nina Petrov, his cyber security specialist. She’s got a chip on her shoulder, a … a chip on her shoulder, a smart mouth. And a body that just doesn’t quit. She’s also his employee, which makes her off limits, no matter how badly he wants her.
But when her life is threatened by the Russian mafia, he’ll do what it takes to protect her, even if that means breaking his code of honor and claiming her as his own.
Trouble is, he doesn’t know about her past, and what he doesn’t know might get them both killed.

Good entry into this series. Characters were well written and the storyline moved along well. I liked the small details that are to often overlooked. I hate when a character, for instance, get into a fight, breaks a rib and simply moves on. In this story, the female lead cuts up her feet and they HURT! Since this is a contemporary setting, all new model cars must have trunk releases, which is recognized by the author. These small details make the story not just work, but be truly enjoyable.
5 stars
Austin, owner and operated of Six Points Tactical & Security along with his brothers and sister, is a former Marine and did several tours in Afghanistan. Nina is Larissa’s ( Austin’s sister ) assistant and is an excellent hacker. Nina is hiding some humdingers of a secret and it comes out when her brother tries to kidnap her. But Nina is a little smarter than the thugs that knocked her out and she escapes and calls Austin. Between keeping Nina safe and fighting his feelings for her, Austin has his work cut out for him. Nina is taken again and Austin will not stop until he has her back.
Action, suspense, and sex. Austin and Nina are made for each other. Both are loyal and protective of their loved ones.
This is the second book I’ve read from this author and I must say, it does not disappoint. Trouble In A Tight Dress is a spectacular romantic suspense by Lori Sjoberg. Ms. Sjoberg has provided readers with a book that’s well-written and a cast of characters that make it a joy to read. Austin is a Marine Veteran and now is the head of a security firm. Nina works for Austin’s security firm but is ready to run when her brother finds her. Nina and Austin’s story is packed with drama, humor, sizzle, action and suspense. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading more from Lori Sjoberg soon. Trouble In A Tight Dress is book 1 of the Six Points Security Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
Thank you so much for a great read.
I love how this book flows onto new series but links the characters from the previous series.
I love the tension between Austin and Nina . The chemistry is swoonworthy
Brilliant writing and kept me hooked .
Thank you
Loved this book and it’s characters. A must read
Enjoyed it and bought the rest of the series.
A little mystery, action, and romance all in one story. What’s not to like about this kind of story.
Loved this page-turner. Lots of action and romance from beginning to end. I will definitely read more in this series.
Trouble in a tight dress surprised me. It was unbelievable great story, and the characters jumped out at you.
Remarkable story about good vs evil between brother and sister. Love blossoms between the sister and her boss while trying to keep away from the brother.
good read
The relationship building was done in a wonderful manner. The characters had great dialogue. Enjoyed this one so much had to buy the rest in the series.
great read.
I couldn’t put this book down! It was full of suspense & entertaining! I had to buy the next book of the series!
This is a great”military guys in private security” story. I loved the characters, esp. the sisterhood of the females in the face of brothers’ business. I didn’t want to put it down, even after the last page.
I love stories about ex-military men who are in security so when I read the blurb about Austin Flint heading a security company I knew I had to read it. I’m so glad I did! This was a great book with lots of action, and romance, too.
Austin had always fought his attraction to Nina because she was his employee. But when her brother, the head of a Russian Mafia family, found her and wanted her to come back home, Austin knew he couldn’t let her go. But nobody said ‘no’ to Nina’s brother so he expected her to do as she was told and go home with him. Even though Austin was angry with Nina for not telling him about her ties to the Mafia, he and his brothers and sister came up with a plan to get Nina’s brother to leave her alone. And the action begins. While they were carrying out their plan, Austin and Nina’s feelings had gotten stronger.
If you like action-packed romantic suspense, you’ll like this book.
Another top-notch book by Lori Sjoberg.
Austin and Nina are both headstrong, intelligent, and take-no-crap. Their chemistry is undeniable. The mystery/suspense starts in the first chapter and winds throughout the book. Even though I knew they would get their HEA, it kept me turning the pages to see how they would deal with the threat presented by the villains.
As always, the characters are well-developed and the story is well-written. The secondary characters are interesting and I can’t wait to see if it is Ty getting to tell his story next.
If you haven’t read Lori Sjoberg, what are you waiting for? She is an excellent author who never disappoints. I highly recommend reading Trouble In A Tight Dress and all the rest of her books, too.
Read it before it’s still not bad
Ty’s story intrigues me more than the sneak peak they showed of Wade’s last time. Not enough for me to pick it up or pay for it, but enough that I wouldn’t curl my nose up If it gets offered for free. I still think the title of this one should have been nothing but trouble or the Mafia Princess. The tight dress is a red herring because Nina doesn’t dress sexy. She only wears one tight dress.
This story is intriguing, action packed and very entertaining. The story flows nicely. You feel invested with the characters and look forward to reading the other books in the series.
Austin is trying to be a good boss. He is trying very hard not to be attracted to Nina, his security company’s tech. Unfortunately for him he is forced to kiss her to keep from blowing a job. Now he can’t stop lusting after her. He becomes her protector when the Russian mob comes after her. There is a happy ending.
