“You don’t belong.”No words whispered in anger have ever rung more true. They’re the Kings of Brayshaw with the world at their feet, destined for greatness and in need of control. I’m the girl from the gutter with nothing to offer and as defiant as they come. They say it doesn’t matter, that I’m one of them now, and nothing could ever change that. Not even me, should I dare try.But they’re wrong.… dare try.
But they’re wrong.
They underestimate how far I’ll go to protect them.
Trouble is coming…and they have no idea.

Trouble At Brayshaw High is the the highly anticipated follow up to Boys of Brayshaw High, and should be read only after having read book one.

God, where do you start with a review when my mind has been completely blown by this book. I had no idea where the story would go, but boy, Brandy takes you on a rollercoaster of excitement, thrills, anticipation and leaves you hanging for more.
The book starts right where book one finishes (so yes, this is not a standalone) with the boys wondering where Raven has went and are going out their minds with worry. From here the story gets better and better with twists, turns and surprises thrown in along the way.
I don’t want to give too much away so that you to can be sucked in and blown away by the brilliance of this author.
Raven, she’s a force to be reckoned with and true Queen. I liked how much power she had gained from her peers, she cemented herself as someone you don’t mess with. She’s a tough cookie in book one, she is even more so in book two. She’s definitely grown and her loyalty to Maddoc and the boys shows no bounds.
I’m glad Brandy didn’t make her question her loyalties/feelings when things weren’t going easy for her or being manipulated by others, her strong character wouldn’t make those mistakes.
Maddoc, sigh *heart eyes* I am in love with him all over again. He more man, more alpha, more dirty, more possessive, just more everything. I proper swoon when he’s in a scene from his presence alone. Their chemistry is insane and I just love the back and forth between Raven and him.
This book was EVERYTHING and more and one of my most anticipated reads of the year. It has everything you want, angst, drama, suspense, heat, every page keeps you going with the need to know more, the story is insane and I cannot wait for the final book to see what crazy ride we’re taken on and I’ll definitely I’ll be re-reading this book again pretty soon.
I bow down to you Brandy, that was insane .
*ARC received for an honest review*

This book was AMAZING!! So many twists and that’s what I love! Raven, Maddox, Captain and Royce have really worked their way into my heart. So much happens in this story to test their relationship. I pretty much read this book straight from start to finish. You’re killing me with how this book ended. I have so many questions and I love every single second of it. Now I’m counting down until the my Brayshaw addicion can be fed again.
Well, I have to say Meagan is damn good at cliffhangers! I have never felt so many damn emotions for a book or its characters as I have for Raven, Royce, Captain, and Maddoc.
I knew this book would be good, and I was right.
Maddoc: “You recognize what we need and when, like you’ve known us all your life. You’re connected to us, and that’s not something we’ll ever be willing to let go of, Raven. Never. None of us. No matter f***ing what.”
Royce: “Level with me, Royce. Am I about to be blindsided?” “I have no idea, RaeRae,”he whispers. “I like to think not, but I won’t be okay with it if you are.”
Captain: “My mom sent your dad to prison for eleven years, Cap, and look where I’m standing right now.” The corner of his lips tip up, some light coming back in his blue-green eye. ” Yeah, pretty sure it could have been you yourself who did, and you’d still be standing here.”
These boys love and the love real damn hard. It’s all or nothing for these boys and the same goes for Raven. She grew up on lies, betrayal, and blackmail. She isn’t use to trusting others or looking to another for help. The boys all move as a unit and stick together. So when Raven goes rogue, all in protecting the boys it messes with their heads. They, too, aren’t use to trusting and letting other people in. Slowly, these four are building a love so deep and so pure, that no-one and I mean no one can stop them.
The book is down right dirty and vicious. There are no rules in love and war and all four of them will bring the other to their knees if it meant protecting them for the enemy.
The enemy has been closer than they think. The real enemy is who they call a friend and who they call family. They are all about to learn just how far they will have to go to defend the family of four they all have now become. If you have not read this book, please buy it, both books, and read it ASAP. You will not regret it. Great job, Meagan.
Book 2 in the Brayshaw series. Yes, you have to read Boys of Brayshaw High first. It picks up where book one ended. Your in for some serious jaw dropping moments. The plot thickens and things get harder for the Brayshaw boys and Raven. That ending though!!! I can’t wait for the next book. I need answers asap!
I waited as long as I could before reading this book. Mainly because book one left me in such need for book two that I wanted to wait to read the e tire rest of the series together; that didn’t last, LOL.
There have been reviews and readers so excited about this book that I had extremely high expectations, especially after book one. Most of them were met, but some were not and I finished with a slight let down and more confusion. I am still not sure as to the main purpose of the back plot is.
I had a lot of questions after book one, and a lot of guesses as to the events in book two. Here’s were I felt let down a bit… Everything I guessed was accurate and a bit predictable. I wasn’t surprised by ANY of the revelations in this book.
The characters were still awesome. Raven is still my “girl crush” heroine. Maddoc is still my book love, Royce and Captain are still the fun ones… There is a major character revealed that was nothing like I imagined. I was disappointed in that character’s personality and actions, through I might get more in book three. There is a fun Easter egg included for those who have read this author before.
Also… I don’t know how Royce and Captain will get books of their own. They are so wound tight with Raven I can’t picture them separating long enough to have another side to their lives… again maybe in book three.
While I could go on and on; and while I did very much enjoy this story, I was not as taken with book two as I was with book one. I am hoping book three brings everything together because I am going to be incredibly upset if things slip through.
Loved! Loved! Loved! She didn’t disappoint in the followup book. This series is looking to be my favorite of 2019.
I have been looking forward to this release for what feels like forever. Book 1 was such an amazing book that I was dying to get my hands on book 2. Book 2 exceeded my expectations and then some. I love everything about this series from the characters to the thrilling storyline. Watching a true queen rise was amazing to read and if anyone can do it, it would be Raven. The queen is the most powerful piece on the board and better believe she is definitely no ones pawn. Can wait to see whats next. Bring on book 3!
It’s official, I’m obsessed
This book, this series is so freaking EPIC!!!
It just keeps you on your toes, definitely at the
edge of your seat, right up until the last page,
and then BAMMM!!! Another cliffhanger!!! …
But, sooo sooo worth the wait.
Love Raven, she’s a bada** chick with big
bronze ba**s And don’t forget about the boys.
So many things will definitely come to light and unravel
in the next book. I believe sides will be picked,
and alliances will be drawn where we least expect it(at least
that’s what I’m hoping for).
Holy crap! What a ride! Meagan’s writing was perfection! Raven is a complete badass and I love those boys! They protect her so fiercely and I love how loyal they are together! So many twists and turns! The mystery is starting to come together and I can’t wait for the next book!!
There’s drama. Then there’s holy DRAMA Batman!! The first one had it in spades and this one I think has even more. Then there’s that ending. What?! Oy the drama llama of it all and I just can’t get enough. This is totally my guilty pleasure. No clue what’s going to go down in the next book, but I can’t wait to find out.
Quotes: Is that what love is? Venom in your veins driving you to throw out all morals and self-respect for the sake of someone else? Without hesitation, and little to no remorse?
O.M.G! Wow! Meagan Brandy blew me away with this one. I cannot even form words and I certainly couldn’t finish a review the minute I finished reading. But I have discovered in the months since first reading Meagan’s work that she’s not only incredibly talented in storytelling, she’s fast becoming a favorite author of mine. She’s an expert at drawing out a scene, at upping the angst factor and at writing seriously beautiful, undeniably sexy romances.
Quotes: There is no number three, there are only three number ones – each as strong as the next, none weaker than the other. If he’s hoping to find a kink in their line, he’ll be disappointed.
The Boys of Brayshaw High left readers with an epic cliffhanger, one that I never saw coming and yet the shout of outrage that I released when I finished Trouble at Brayshaw High woke up my whole house… (Thanks a lot for that, Meagan Brandy!!! It took me hours to get the 3-year-old monster back to bed! ) Now, I have to say in all honesty, the Brayshaw books had two things going against them from the start. First, I absolutely detest cliffhangers and second, I am actually not a huge fan of high school romances, *unless* they are superbly well written. Yet, Meagan delivered a cliffhanger that blindsided me so completely, I truly couldn’t miss the next book because I was utterly consumed during the first. Then, she penned an enemies-to-lovers, high school bully romances. I can’t get behind high school romances where it’s easy peasy because let’s be real, what person had a truly easy high school experience in every way?! So when I started the TBOBH, I wasn’t sure what I would find, but since I had been waiting months to get Meagan Brandy into my blog schedule, I simply couldn’t wait any longer. So I jumped on having TBOBH in my calendar and wow, was I mind-blown when I finished that book. Sooo mind-blown in fact that I not only did I read a book with a cliffhanger but I have been awaiting the release of its sequel with bated breath—all-out stalking Meagan in a bid for any word on the Trouble at Brayshaw High. And I wasn’t in any way disappointed—other than for the fact that now I am waiting for the release of the third book because I. Flove. This. Storyline!!! As I believed with each book that the storyline would be complete, I hope with all sincerity that the third book will truly be the endgame for Raven, Maddox, Royce, and Captain, since my heart can’t take much more. This story arc is a well written young adult romance which will delight readers that love dual POV, a slow burn romance, and the perfect blending of super angsty and enemies-to-lovers! A well written slow-burn romance is hotter to me then the majority of troupes in romance currently. And I love that Meagan Brandy continued to torture us with another long bout of slow burn sizzle as she introduced new drama to the Kings of Brayshaw… and their chosen Queen. And just as unprepared as I was for what would transpire within the pages of the first book, I about feel all over myself reading page after page of the second. Meagan Brandy expertly wrote a romance with twists and turns aplenty and if you’ve never read her work before, you are definitely missing out. I was entertained from start to finish and read this book in one sitting. Meagan wove together a superb story that I highly recommend and I would tell you every day of the week that you can’t go wrong with a romance that has her name on the cover.
Quotes:
Raven Carver is mine whether she wants to be now or not. Period.
I don’t belong in this world of power princes and rising kings.
I knew without looking she took off, pulled a fucking Raven and made a solo decision. And a solo decision meant a stupid fucking decision.
I’m realistic enough to understand my place in the world, and maybe it wouldn’t have happened today or tomorrow, but the end game is never the girl from the ghetto ending up in a mansion to stay.
They’ve earned every bit of my loyalty, something I’ve never given to anyone, even if they don’t know it.
all we offered her was a temporary place to lay her head, right? I laugh at myself, that’s fucked if she felt that way. She was more than that. More than we ever could have thought. More than we ever could have wanted. Everything us three cold-hearted assholes needed.
OH.MY.GOODNESS!
Meagan Brandy sure did not disappoint! Not only did I fall even harder, if that’s even possible, for Raven and the boys, but I did not expect even 1/3 of what happened to happen. I was kept on my toes constantly and wanting desperately to know what was going to happen next. But at the same time I didn’t want this book to end because I genuinely, wholeheartedly, love this series
My love for Raven is fierce. This woman, even after all of the crap she has been dealt, continues to be strong and fight. Fight for herself and the boys who she loves fiercely (even if she doesn’t want to admit that love) and is loyal to a fault. She is determined to come out on top with her boys by her side.
And the boys, my goodness, I swear it is impossible not to love these boys without a deep devotion. Each boy brings a unique aspect to this series and I love them all deeply. They make my heart soar with their devotion to one another and to Raven. Their loyalty knows know bounds. Cap, Royce, and Maddoc, I don’t know what I would do without them.
The dynamic between the four is utterly all-consuming. They consume my every thought and feeling. They have captured me like no others. And the wait for the next book is going to be torture because I won’t be able to think of anything else.
Meagan Brandy has slayed me with this story once again. This series just continues to get better while breaking me and building me up at the same time.
Forever a Bray Queen <3
After the chaos book one left me in, I had to read this! Raven grows stronger and opens up more during book two, and all of their bond also solidifies. Of course there are even more secrets and craziness. And moments that just upset me. It ends on another cliffy, making me look forward to how it all finishes. The only thing that made it less than perfect was just how so out there and hard to believe and sometimes follow the storyline was. Entertaining for dang sure, but still. I definitely plan on reading the next when it comes out.
Ahhhhhhh that ending !!!!!!
This series is killing me in a good and bad way. Again I was sucked into this book from the start. It pretty much left where the first book ended on a cliffy and know this book ended of a crazy cliffy. I think this author is trying to kill us slowly.
This story was full of twist and turn from the start till the very end. The characters are amazing I luv them even more after this book. Raven has taken hit for hit in life and is still taking them now. The only difference now is she has her Brayshaw boys with her. Things don’t go easy with this lot and I know there is still more to come and find out. After the way this component down there is so much to come.
As I said the characters are brilliant Raven and Maddoc are great together. Things are smooth for them but there jagged so they fit perfect. It was good to see a different more gentler side to Maddoc at times it was often that it happened but it was there. Raven was all so the same this tough girl that has lived through some really crappy time starts to show the same side to Maddoc Captain and Royce there her boys. She will do anything for the them. The trust is getting strong in this book they are all finding out that they can’t live without each other and his help anyone who tries to get in the way.
I really enjoyed this book it was really good. Is it as good has the first? I don’t think it is but I’m not saying this book is bad it’s really not at all its still a solid 5 stars for me. The first book is just where it all began. This book is where feeling are showing and everything isn’t what it seems. The third I have a clue where that will go I just really hope the story won’t be dragged out. I’ve still loads I need to know and the ending has now thrown everything up in the air. I’m really looking forward to more of this gang there brilliant and I want more. I would highly recommend this book just make sure you read the first book first and beware of cliffys. But you won’t be disappointed this series is brilliant it’s one of my favourites of this year.
More intense. More drama. More secrets and lies were spilled and more mystery yet to unfold.
I couldn’t put it down -not that I want to- as this book consumed my thoughts and feelings.
Raven, ffs, is my girl through and through. Proven and tested stubborn. Bull-headed and a complete match to all three Brayshaws, she’s never one to back down. She’s reckless, she’s fierce. She’s fuckin’ fire simmering, burning, ready to burn down anyone who crosses her. She’s a goddamn fresh breath of air even if she breathes fire everywhere. And she’s the fucking lock and key to all the secrets, lies and mystery in this book. Watch out for her.
Them boys though? Is it too late to ask for this to be a RH? Yeah? FML.
After reading the Boys of Brayshaw High after lots of recommendations from friends I have eagerly awaiting the next instalment in this series and Meagan Brandy did NOT disappoint me. The story just keeps getting better and better, and these boys and Raven have embeded themselves in my heart!
After the way BOBH left off I was seriously intrigued about what would happen next. This instalment answers some questions but raises more, it tests loyalties and relationships and either breaks or cements them.
I was gripped from the very first page and unable to put it down so I devoured it on a bank holiday Saturday afternoon. The angst was gripping and with so much going on and the questions and theories going on in my head I am seriously addicted to this series and eagerly waiting for the next book. I need to see if my theories are correct or wrong (kind hoping I’m wrong)
MEAGAN WHAT WAS THAT ENDING?! OMG this book is amazing. Absolute page turner and an fabulous book two to Boys of Brayshaw HIgh. Would recommend this book all day long. The characters pull you in and make you love them (Hello Book Boyfriends!) and is so packed with plot you question every turn. So many questions left unanswered making you crave book three!! Can’t wait.
I can’t believe I forgot to write my review on here for Trouble at Brayshaw High !! This follow up is just as amazing as the first!! There wasn’t one moment where I wanted to put it down! I devoured every single word and was left wanting more at the end!! This series is worth every cliff!!! Don’t wait on this one!!! It’s by far the best series of the decade! Hell I suggest you check out all of Meagan Brandy books!! There is no doubt she is a true talent!
I couldn’t wait to read this book after the cliffhanger in the first book. The storyline had me wanting more. I thought for sure I was going to get a great conclusion to what was a start of a good story…
Unfortunately, I didn’t get that. While I can admit this author has a good way of writing in general (hence the rating versus the rest of this review), I just can’t jive with this book.
First, how much drama can one person take while reading a book? This book was more of nothing truly significant happening than anything. Sure, a few secrets and puzzle pieces were at play. However, most of the book droned on with unnecessary drama. I will admit, I lost a lot of interest in this story with this book.
In the first book, I liked the characters. In this book, I am now finding myself annoyed with them. Their arrogance, where it was once redeeming, is now exasperating and grating. In the author’s quest to create a twisty story she seems to have lost sight of it.
A third book? I have to read another book? Is the next one just going to be a bunch of filler with a few plot points dropped in too? I am not sure I can read another after this one. This story could have been nicely written in two books. If you take out the filler, then you would be able to complete the story in two installments. I will most likely read the third book. However, if this series doesn’t end there, I won’t continue it.
This story is getting better and better, the drama keep going at Brayshaw High, the lies and half truths still running in this family, but at least now some secrets were revealed unfortunately it left us with more questions than answers.
TROUBLE AT BRAYSHAW HIGH starts right after BOYS OF BRAYSHAW HIGH ended, the guys were shocked and concern about Raven’s decisions and it really broke my heart witnessed these amazing, strong and caring guys practically down and hurt. I have to be honest I didn’t like too much Raven in this book, she made impulsives decisions and she’s constantly mad at the world, and she doesn’t let the love of this family take her over. I liked her more on Book 1.
Maddoc, Cap and Royce stole my heart once again, we get to know them better now, and we find out that they are not only hot as hell but they are also caring and protective and there is NO way they will lose what they already love, Raven.
I definitely love this book more than the first one, we got more action, uncovered betrayal, more lies, more secrets, new bonds, hotness, more revelations, more danger, more questions, and now we want MORE!!! Can’t wait for the final installment and to know what Meaghan Brandy has in store for Raven and the guys.
