“You don’t belong.”No words whispered in anger have ever rung more true. They’re the Kings of Brayshaw with the world at their feet, destined for greatness and in need of control. I’m the girl from the gutter with nothing to offer and as defiant as they come. They say it doesn’t matter, that I’m one of them now, and nothing could ever change that. Not even me, should I dare try.But they’re wrong.… dare try.
But they’re wrong.
They underestimate how far I’ll go to protect them.
Trouble is coming…and they have no idea.

Trouble At Brayshaw High is the the highly anticipated follow up to Boys of Brayshaw High, and should be read only after having read book one.

Ok, I definitely didn’t see some of that coming, lol!
We pick right up where we left off in book 1 and the beginning was a little slow because of the circumstances and Raven is like a zombie version of herself in her current situation. That sucks because Raven is the big draw for me in this series, so yeah, little slow in the beginning, but finally the boys pull their heads from their rears and stop being so butt hurt and make her pay attention and we finally get the ball rolling.
As before, I’m still not entirely sure where this is going. We get some answers but there are also some big bombs dropped that raise a lot more questions. Whatevs, I’m still entertained so I’m still reading!
5 for Maddoc
5 for Captain
5 for Royce
5,000 for the bada** Bish Raven!
What an absolute mind F. I finished TABH at midnight and couldn’t think straight, so why couldn’t I sleep either? This book is phenomenal.
PheNomenal.
This morning, as soon as I woke, I went back and reread some of my favorite scenes. But who am I kidding, I’m bound to reread the whole thing again, and again, and again since there is no way I can move on from this.
NO. WAY.
This book just keeps getting better and better. I am really enjoying this series and totally recommend it to anyone looking for an audiobook that will keep your attention the entire time. Great narration by Jillian & Stephen.
Omg.Omg.Omg. The secrets and twists and turns just keep coming! I loved this continuation of Raven and the Brayshaw Boys’ story. There were times I wanted tot how my Kindle across the room and times I was hugging it to me. The characters amd storyline got even more deeper and complex in Trouble. I can’t wait for teh rest of the story!

——————————————–
“You wanted a queen, you made one. One like nobody here has ever known. Just as strong as you, just as brave.”
“I told you, child. I told you, you belong here. I need you to start believing it, you understand?…
It’s hurting my boys when you don’t.”
Wow!!! Shits literally hit the fan in the second instalment of “Brayshaw” series!!!!
God, i love this story!!! I love how effortless the author is developing the story and believe me when i’m saying that it is a really messed up story!!! It took a big u-turn and literally, you don’t know where it leads you in the final book!!!
Arrrr… I can not wait for the next book!!!! I need some freakin’ answers and i want conclusion soooo badly!!!
“We weren’t ready for you, Raven Carver.
We weren’t fucking ready.”
“I don’t belong in this world of power princes and rising kings.”
Well, at the end of the previous book, we saw Raven do something unimaginable in order to protect her boys!!!! But with that move, she hurt them so badly… All of them, but especially, my lovely Maddoc!!! She also hurt herself, but she was determined to do anything to protect those boys that give her their loyalty and love!!!!
“Raven Carver is mine. Whether she wants to be now or not. Period.”
“Go on, play your games, baby. I’ve got more moves than you can handle.”
Mmm… Honestly, i don’t know what more to tell you, cause i don’t want to spoil the story for those that they haven’t read it yet and they are planning to…
But the things got really ugly and then, a little bit better… But damn, after they became even more ugly and shady!!!
The secrets, the lies, the agendas in here are too many and too big!!!!
Many people are getting involve in all the above and my mind was about to explond at some point!!!
I need answers, damn it!!!!
To be totally honest with you, a big secret in here, i have guessed in a way, but stil… i was in awe while i was hearing it!!!
“Maybe if my body bleeds, my heart won’t.”
“I almost became her for him, for you. Is that what love is? Venom in your veins driving you to throw out all morals and self-respect for the sake of someone else? Without hesitation, and little to no remorse?”
Well, I can’t say more…
Maddoc and Raven were still exlosive together, and their bond was very intense and powerful!!!
Raven was still a tough chick and now, she was stronger than ever!!!! A real queen, indeed!!! But she was sooo stubborn!!!
Maddoc was sooo lost in the beginning and my heart was aching for him!!! He was still determined, possessive and protective of the ones who was loving and i loved him even more, if this is possible!!!
Well, i have really enjoyed the way that Maddoc was trying to affect Raven in the beginning and the possessiveness wasn’t running only to his blood after all!!! Raven was soooo furious and reckless when she was jealous!!! Bahahaha…
“He likes my crazy, and I want his madness. It’s pretty fucking simple.”
“To love you would mean to let go of a part of me, the part that I worked damn hard to get–understanding and accepting I need no one to survive, knowing I can do this all on my own without a helping hand or dropping to my knees.”
“To need someone is weak, because what happens when they leave, and you fall flat on your face? I don’t want to be weak, Big Man, not even for someone strong enough to carry us both.”
“He and I, we’re laced together with a tight needle and thread.
When I tear, it’s him who bleeds.”
Captain and Royce were always there with them and they were having their own issues and feelings!!! Royce ‘s hurt was showing a Royce that i didn’t like very much… But he is hotheaded and i totally understand his pain!!!
Captain was always sweet and faithful!!! And very perspective… even though he had serious problems of his own!!!
Honestly, I can not wait for their books!!! I would love to see Victoria with maybe Cap???? Why not???
“Family runs deeper than blood, yet it’s the ones we chose we’ll so willingly bleed for.”
“You’re connected to us, and that’s not something we’ll ever be willing to let go of, Raven. Never. None of us. No matter fucking what.”
Pfff…. Now for the rest of the people in here??? Honestly, i don’t like many except these four!!!
Most of the characters are deceitful scumbags who can betray you before the blink of an eye…
But I really like Bass and Victoria!!! This girl seems real great, even though her bad attitude in the first book!!! She is just… real, i think!!!!
And now, I can not wait for the last book!!!! Hurry up, Meagan!!! Pleaaaaaase!!!
“So, you’ll share your world, but not your mind?”
“My mind is dark, baby.”
“And?”
“And you’re afraid of the dark.”
“He has no idea what she means to us, no fucking clue what we’ll do to protect what’s ours.
And Raven. Is. Ours.”
5 BRAY Girl for LIFE STARS
One of the most anticipated books of the year is here. You think you have everything figured it out, that your theories are right?! Nah…you’re not even close. Prepare to be K.O.
Trouble at Brayshaw High is the second book in the AMAZING Brayshaw High series by Meagan Brandy and continues where Boys of Brayshaw High left. Is it told in dual POV and you definitely MUST READ Boys of Brayshaw High first.
More lies and drama, more action, suspense, and definitely more love, twists and turns. Bomb after bomb, secret after secret. Your mind will explode, your heart will break, and you will have a book hangover for days.
I thought that The Boys of Brayshaw High was amazing, but girls…Trouble at Brayshaw High is the BOMB…and the ending…WOW
This book just served the biggest cliffhanger in the history of cliffhangers!
Things just got way too real. Rae just got the biggest slap in the face that makes her being jumped and abused look like a walk in the park compared to the bomb that was just dropped on her lap! The Brayshaw boys seemed to have made a move that will change the future of this town and there is no turning back now. Everything is unraveling and its not long before everything comes to light. Seems this town has finally met their match…
This book and series is sure to suck you in! Never a dull moment in the Brayshaw town. A well written story that will have you on the edge of your seat! Settle in and buckle up…it’s going to be a bumpy ride.
This series just gets better and better.
I can’t help but love these characters no matter what happens or what they do.
Meagan Brandy pulls me into the story from page 1 and keeps me hooked all the way through.
There are so many twists and turns throughout this book that I have whiplash from them all.
I’m so glad I am able to binge all 3 books together otherwise I would loose my shit with each books cliffhanger!
BRAYSHAW HIGH, an addictive high-school drama with lots of twists and turns
More twists, more turns, more drama, as the series continues.
Maddoc:”Raven Carver is mine whether she wants to be now or not. Period.”
This book cannot be read as a standalone.
Maddoc and Rae’s relationship has developed into more but a huge twist causes Rae to make a choice for the good of her boys.
“You were a natural-born survivalist, a fighter.”
The fight to earn trust continues, to protect and prove loyalty also growing to love unashamedly.
This book does end on a cliffhanger and there are three books in this series.
Fans of L.A Cotton and Tijan will like this series
*4,5 stars*
I’m glad I have all three books lined up to binge read ‘cuz I wouldn’t be able to handle all these cliffhangers and teasers in the end. I keep thinking that I know how the story will go but then the author twists it back up and I’m lost again, although there were a few small things I was able to figure out. It’s a real rollercoaster of emotions and not just that, the author keeps you guessing until the end and afterwards you still think about what you just read! Now I’ll just dive into the next book ‘cuz I’m dying to know how this story goes and more importantly, how it will end!
Raven gets hit after hit and just strides after what she wants and most importantly, believes in. She’ll fight for it, no matter what people may throw at her! But when she will be forced to make a choice, it will change not only her life but also the ones closest to her and it may be costing everyone more than they had bargained for. Even though Maddox and the boys are staying close at the sidelines, they’re just waiting to strike… hard. Alliances will be made and both Raven and ‘her’ boys will have to decide even more what side they are on. But an unexpected turn will happen and events will turn their lives even more upside down. Will they be able to withstand it all or lose everything they worked for?…
Wow. An amazing follow up to the first book and I’m really scared where the last book is going to take me. There were a lot of ups and down. Lots of steam, lots of questions, and lots of blindsides. So many times my jaw dropped while reading this story and I am going to devour the last book. I won’t say more because it’s a cliffy and the second book in a trilogy and I don’t want to spoil anything. 4 stars #2OCCjD
A great story, woth reat build up, characters, angst, strengh and wealness from childhood anf stresses. Ebgaging, suspense, adrenaline driver, and peasing to my brain. Alwaus stayed excoting.and aboe the average lines. First. 3 bopls !aintained and een sirpaddef bool 1. Only disappointment is the end of tis tail .
“She wants to fuck with my head? It’s worked.
She wants to prove a point? She’s done it.
She thinks I’ll back down? She’s fucking wrong.”
Trouble at Brayshaw and Meagan Brandy have just claimed my soul!
Ive literally just sat and read for 8 hours straight, no eating, no adulting, nothing.
Because Meagan has just delivered one of my favourite books of the year.
These boys and their story own my soul. Everything you think you’ve guessed, all of the theories… throw them right out of the window because you are so so wrong!!
Maddoc, Captain And Royce are back- along with their queen Raven and I can’t even begin to describe what I am feeling.
“Go on, Play your games, baby. I’ve got more moves than you can handle.”
The secrets, lies and betrayal had my stomach twisted in knots, that sick feeling in the pit of my stomach the whole way through the book. Just as one secret comes to light, Meagan slams you on your ass with another!
“Maybe if my body bleeds, my heart won’t.”
Raven is as sassy, fiery and scrappy as ever! That girl never backs down, is loyal to a fault. She won’t back down, even if it means that she gets hurt in the process. Her character development was huge in this book. I loved every second of her.
“Raven Carver is mine. Whether she wants to be now or not. Period.”
Maddoc- oh my big man. His pain, his loyalty, his possessive alpha personality…. you thought you saw a sexy as fuck Maddoc in Boys of Brayshaw High… prepare yourself for big man on speed lol. He is mine, he has stolen my heart, along with Royce’s antics and Cap’s big heart.
You guys have no idea what is coming for you. The twists and turns, the revelations, the what the actual fuck moments.
Get ready to shout, get mad, feel sick, have your anxiety levels go through the roof and laugh your ass off (at Royce)
Mind blown!!
Well sh!t
I’m going to say that the Brayshaw way is even more f@cked up than originally thought. The pieces are being moved around the chessboard that only a few knew truly existed. Secrets, promises, and a whole lot of bullsh!t are being thrown around. Some of it sticks and the rest stinks.
It’s definitely a convoluted mess of wtaf. It will be very interesting to see how loyal people truly are!
That ending!
I’ve been very patient waiting for this book to come out. I very rarely purchase a book that I haven’t already read, but I made an exception for this series. Meagan did not disappoint. This one was even better then the first, and I thought that would end hard to do. I was engaged the whole way through and did not see the end coming at all. Now I begin my very impatient wait for number 3.

Book #2 of Brayshaw trilogy. It cannot be read as a stand-alone!
WARNING
THIS IS THE SECOND BOOK OF A SERIES THAT CANNOT BE READ AS A STAND-ALONE. IT MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR THOSE THAT HAVEN’T READ BOOK #1!

WHAT HAS REALLY WORKED FOR ME
Addictiveness: 5/5 The highest level! I’ve been obsessed with this series. I have read it each book twice in the last two weeks. The writing is captivating and the characters hook you into their world. Can’t wait for book three!!!
Character: hero 5/5, heroine 5/5, secondary characters 5/5, growth 5/5, real 4/5 Yes! I love them all. All four main characters are multi-dimensional and have depth. They keep evolving and growing stronger as a unit of four.
“Fixing us. Making us better. Making us stronger…
You recognize what we need and when, like you’ve known us all your life. You’re connected to us…”
by Maddoc
A few of my favorite secondary characters are Bass and Victoria. They both are good friends and real.
I also like the antagonists. I mean, I love to hate them. There a quite a few of them, each in their own way, seems to be important for plot.
“He just fucked up, and he doesn’t even know it. He has no idea what she means to us, no fucking clue what we’ll do to protect what’s ours. And Raven. Is. Ours.”
by Maddoc
Cover: art 5/5, title 5/5, subtitle 5/5, color-font 5/5, buy 5/5 I’m obsessed with book covers. I love to find snippets of the stories within the art. I love the art work in this series. It is unique! The title feels like a warning for the cliffhanger left at the end at the first book. The colors used are wild and dark at the same time, with more blue than magenta, since this book has Maddoc highlighted at the cover. We can also see Cap and Royce in the background. The subtitle couldn’t be better to represent Maddoc’s assertive personality. Loved it! Would buy this book by its cover without reading the blurb.
Freshness: It still has the same formula of most teen angst drama stories out there, but I’ve liked all the different spices added here. So many new twists.
Plot: believable 4/5, conflict 3.5/5, dialogue 5/5, ending 4/5, enjoyment 5/5, opening 4/5, pace 5/5, setting 5/5, subplots 5/5, twists 5/5 Good opening and crazy ending with a major cliffhanger. Still a bit lost about all the conflict, but the dialogues are very well written. Fast-paced with a superb family foundation to make this really enjoyable. Amazing setting with a superb subplot. So many twists that kept me at the edge of my seat. This is very mob like. The family values, traditions, the old generations are very archaic trying to hold on to unbelievable crazy traditions.
Romance: believable 5/5, chemistry 5/5, description 5/5, development 5/5, steam 5/5 I believe the romance was the star of this book. Their romantic journey is so crazy, but at the same time so beautiful. Both Maddoc and Raven are very intense, so their relationship is full of fireworks and explosive moments. Is poignant! Very hot!!!
“He likes my crazy, and I want his madness. It’s pretty fucking simple.”
by Raven
“He and I, we’re laced together with a tight needle and thread. When I tear, it’s him who bleed.”
by Raven
Writing Style: I love everything here. Amazing characters, with strong world built, good villains and catching plot line. Meagan knows how to keep her readers interested. Can’t wait to read more from her!!!
WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER
Plot: I have to say that I still miss a good adult in this book. I mean, this is a YA/NA story, but to be more believable these kids needed some parenting. All the adults until now are insane or weak or irresponsible or selfish or a combination of these.
MY THOUGHTS
This has truly become my favorite series of this year. It just keeps me interested from the beginning until the end. In fact, I’ve ended this book almost crying because I didn’t have anything else to read. So many unsolved mysteries that have been driving me crazy. These cliffhangers are killing me!!!
This feels a lot like “Erin Watt” and Tijan. If you enjoyed the Royals and/or Fallen Crest, you will love this!

Would I recommend? Yes. A must read for everyone that likes angst teenage romance.
Would I re-read this book? I have already, and will probably do it again.
Would I re-read this series? Sure.
Would I read more from the author? I’m really looking forward to it.
You may read this because you like the author; you SHOULD read this because you like amazing world built; you MUST read this for superb characters!!!
Five absolutely deserved stars for Raven, Maddoc, Royce & Captain !!!
If I could, I’ve given this book more than five stars !
But, I can’t, so I do something else and that is this review.
Until the last year, I didn’t prefer to read young adult books and I didn’t read them (only a few).
But, in this time last year, I’ve started reading books at the English language and the first book I’ve read was young adult genre. After that, I’ve continued reading this genre and I didn’t regret.
I’m so glad that I decided to change my mind because if I didn’t I’ll never read so many great books.
I would NEVER read this book, this series.
And that would be such a shame.
Because this book took my soul and my heart at the same time as I was started reading it.
I found out about this series a few months ago but I didn’t have to read it. But, after I heard that the third book coming soon I knew that is high time to start with this series.
I loved “Boys of Brayshaw High”.
I really did.
But, that is just a small piece of the great storyline.
Only introduction.
As you know the first book end up with cliffhanger which is the reason why I’ve started reading “Trouble at Brayshaw High” the same day.
The title says “trouble”.
Yeah, this book has a lot of things and one of them is the trouble.
After I’ve read the first book, I had some suspicion of what could happen in the second book but I didn’t expect anything of what was really happened.
This book has so many secrets and they just popped up when I least expected.
And that is the reason why I’ve read a book in less than two days. Once I started, I couldn’t put the book down.
I was so curious.
The book ended up with cliffhanger (sorry for a spoiler) and now I just want to read the next book “Regin at Brayshaw High”.
Except for a great storyline, the main characters got me at first and I really don’t who’s of them I love more.
I will just say I love them equally and unconditionally.
These book doesn’t show only hate to love relationship between Raven and Maddoc. It shows the unconditional loyalty between people of one family and brothers.
Maybe Raven was scared to show her real emotions to three boys but her non-stop sacrifice for them means more than words.
And from the other side, boys are the perfect picture of bad boys but they so much more than that and their protective attitude for Raven showed that.
Because of these books, Meagan Brandy became one of my favorite authors and I can’t wait to read more of her books and especially “Reign of Brayshaw High”.
Her writing style is everything!
If you’re looking with the young adult book that will keep you awake all night, these two books are definitely for you!
Highly recommended!!!
P. S. Expect unexpected.
Trouble at Brayshaw High is the newest installment in this amazing series from the author. The story continued where it left off the last and this book has more drama, angst, darkness and romance. It is is just GAH!!!
Just when you think you had everything figured out, the author will throw you another curveball, and it is enough for this girl to scream like the book crazy that I am with this series. The tension never left up and these characters just own me. OWN. ME. I couldn’t put this book down even if I wanted to, it is so freaking good!!!
I loved the chemistry between Raven and her guys and was it greedy of me to ask for more? Because I want more! I don’t think I will ever get enough of them and this story. I may have been tempted to throw my e-reader because what the hell with this ending? I need book 3 ASAP!!!
And yes she did it again. Meaghan Brandy with second book definitely wasn’t thrown into the second book curse cause this book is just addictive perfection. But friendly reminder if you are new to the Brayshaw series you need to read the first one cause these books are tightly connected.
Before this book we only saw the messages that the trouble was coming. But nobody, definitely not me suspected to get all that happened here and what I don’t want to mention in order to not spoil you this and previous book. But prepare yourself for things to get real and roller-coaster of stuff that went down here. You will also be able to look into the hearts of Raven and Maddoc, you know your new book boyfriend (mine definitely :p). Being in his head was great thing from Meaghan cause it gives us even more light into his feeling especially before book three.
So with these book prepare to get any details like angst, heat, drama, and all the twist and turns but much much stronger. And yes this book is definitely one you won’t be able to put down. So buckle up and get back to Brayshaw. You definitely won’t be disappointed.
Highly anticipated and rightly so, as soo. As this went live I jumped straight !
Taken right back to the exact point the first book ended and needless to say it wasn’t a happy start ! But what was happen ring on these pages had me gripped, suckered in and I just read, page after page !
I love how fiesty Raven is but still with all her vulnerabilities makes her character sing ! The protectiveness in her stance and her soul is a perfect match for the Brayshaw boys and oh mean are they hotheaded alphas !
The contrast between, Maddoc, Royce and Captain is ever so present but the love, loyalty and protectiveness is just what makes them who they are and when it comes to Raven nothing will stop them !
Meagan’s writing style is carefully crafted with the right amount of everything you want from this genre and then some !
I’m now on the edge of my seat waiting for Book 3 !
5 Stars
