“You don’t belong.”No words whispered in anger have ever rung more true. They’re the Kings of Brayshaw with the world at their feet, destined for greatness and in need of control. I’m the girl from the gutter with nothing to offer and as defiant as they come. They say it doesn’t matter, that I’m one of them now, and nothing could ever change that. Not even me, should I dare try.But they’re wrong.… dare try.
But they’re wrong.
They underestimate how far I’ll go to protect them.
Trouble is coming…and they have no idea.

Trouble At Brayshaw High is the the highly anticipated follow up to Boys of Brayshaw High, and should be read only after having read book one.

Yes yes yes
This series , this book … it’s just a YES !
Rae is awesome! She tough and intense and totally bad ass and these boys … their alpha and smart and under their facade sweet and loyal .
There’s drama and mystery and a whole lot of action that has me hooked and I can’t wait to read the next book ! Thankfully this series is fully released so time to get on it!!
Wowzers I did not expect this story! SO freaking good! just like the first book i couldnt put it down , i needed more of raven and her boys . so happy to have stumbled upon Meagan Brandy. she is fastly becoming a favorite of mine!
After the 1st book I nose dived into this one pretty fast, somewhere around 30% it seemed to get a little slow paced for me but I eventually I was hooked on phonics again! Lol again this damn Raven is crazy!! Lol I’m weird and I still feel bad for Collins. his restroom scene pulled harder on me. I feel like so many secrets have been released and still I feel clueless!!! I’m loving the cliffhanger! Lol i definitely loved how this book ended and I’m writing this quick and sweet review pretty fast because I have that 3rd one waiting to be clicked on. Great books. Meagan Brandy has a crazy style of writing! Lol I likey!
Trouble at Brayshaw High
@meaganbrandyauthor
Good Lort y’all. Meagan is killing me with these cliffhangers thank goodness I decided to read them after the series is complete. Although, I’m also sad I waited so long. The bond these Brayshaw boys share really tugs at my heartstrings. They love & support each other, no questions asked and they’ve brought Rae into that tight knit circle. But holy plot twists! There are so many new developments throughout the book that I do not see coming. Not only has Meagan created such deep, well developed characters, but their story is intricate & has kept me guessing the whole time. I’m looking forward to what happens next!
I didn’t think much could get better than the first book, but I lied! In reading this book, book #2 in this series and I promise it gets much better, it is HOT/FIRE!!!! Rae is one powerhouse of a character! Her strength each book amazes me and it gets stronger and stronger. With that said, Rae, Big Man, Captain and Royce are unstoppable. They make an incredible team. Everything is thrown at them in this book. I’m just hoping & praying book 3 won’t push them away. They are stronger together.
Bring on more Rae, Big Man, Captain and Royce!!!!!
This was definitely a page-turner for me! The level of connection between Raven, Maddoc, Cap, and Royce is so intense!
Raven really shone in this book as an example of extreme loyalty- given to others, and earned by action. I love how strong she is, how independent, but allows her boys to do what they need to (most of the time, anyway).
The Brayshaw boys have really amped up their tight-knit chosen family. I love how Meagan Brandy has made each of their strong personalities blend with one another in a seamless way.
The big frustrating part (kudos to you, Meagan!) is that the more I as a reader learn, the more questions I have and the bigger the mystery is revealed to be!
I am loving these boys of Brayshaw! I can’t wait to read the next book! I love. The strength and weakness Raven has found in Maddoc! She is the queen and she doesn’t know it! This book had me twisting in the end, and I wanted the Gravens to crawl back into the gutter!
An amazing book
We fell in love with Maddoc, Captain and Royce in Boys of Brayshaw High, but in Trouble at Brayshaw we are shown a side to each of them that is new and makes them harder to resist. Each of them plays a part in this unique family they’ve become. Maddoc shows how protective he is over Raven and his feelings toward her become more vocal. Despite Royce’s playboy ways, he also has a softer side that is sweet. Captain is the voice of reason and he doesn’t let his true feelings show. Of course, I can’t forget about Raven. She continues to be the badass heroine that she is. She loves these Brayshaw Kings, and through all the twists and turns that she has to go through, shows how much she has matured and grown since the beginning. She would now do anything to protect them and quite literally does. Her relationship with Maddoc becomes more intense, and I absolutely lived for it. They are the perfect couple.
Book one left you on a cliffhanger, and this one definitely does too… I jumped into book three right away, because I could not wait to find out what happened next.
This trouble is crazy good! 5 stars
Holy smokes, this book was crazy good! The beginning of this book was painful to read because of Raven’s actions and choices. I knew she thought she was doing the right thing to protect the boys, but it was still painful. We got see Raven’s past, and my heart broke for her. She was still all fire, sass and defiance which now made me smile! When the boys finally figured out why she was doing what she was doing and fought for her, it made me so happy! She makes the boys better and stronger, and I appreciated that even though she doesn’t. She doesn’t think she can be happy or have love, and it made me sad. But Maddoc was there making her happy and loving her anyway! Captain and Royce love her too, but not like Maddoc. Maddoc and Raven were still fire! Then so many crazy twists and turns happened that had me gasping and crying until the very cliffhanger end! I can’t wait to read the next book!
Raven has some freaking surprises for us in this story, but she is not the only one. Will she grow into the crown that she doesn’t even realize is hers? As always, there are secrets that threaten to upend everyone’s lives and in the end, some of these secrets will be freeing and others will be a prison in each of their minds.
Meagan Brandy I loved where this story was going originally and then I hit the plot twist and was like OMG, read faster I gotta know what’s next! I can’t to dive into The Reign of Brayshaw.
Trouble at Brayshaw High is the second book in this series and picks up right where Boys of Brayshaw left us.
Raven continues to be her feisty, selfless self, putting herself in harms way in a misguided attempt to help the boys she now feels such a connection to. However, if I learned anything from book one, it’s that these boys wouldn’t let her go without a fight and it wouldn’t be long before they needed answers.
The chemistry between Raven and Maddoc absolutely sizzles. I love his fierceness and commitment to Rae but it was actually when all three boys showed their love for her in their own unique ways that gave me the warm and fuzzies. They’re all strong willed but they somehow work as a unit and united group. Their need to be together becoming something essential to their happiness, not just a desire.
There was, however, a lot going on with the plot and around the middle of the book I got very confused. I didn’t know whether I’d missed something that I was supposed to know, or whether it was part of the mystery of the story. Nevertheless, as it moved on, the last quarter totally hooked me. Some secrets were revealed but there’s still an awful lot of explaining to do and, I’m guessing, some bombs still to be dropped.
Series Review!!!
I wish I could give more than 5 stars! A truly wonderful book series. I love Maddoc and Ravens story from beginning to the end! I want more! I know there will be spin offs I just hope they come out soon! I was feeling the emotions with the characters and holding my breath more then once throughout the trilogy. You will laugh, cry, smile and want to smack a few people but it is all worth it!!
There are twists you will not see coming and growth in the characters that will just astound you. Plan accordingly to have enough time to read these all at once! So amazing!
The Trouble at Brayshaw carries on from Book 1 The Boys of Brayshaw and MUST be read in order. This book definitely lives up to it’s title, there was plenty of story line to keep the pacing up and my interest in the characters I came to love in the first book.
The Trouble at Brayshaw takes you deeper into the world of Brayshaw High and the fueds between families and I couldn’t believe how deep and twisted the ties go. We get to know Maddoc, Raven, Captain and Royce more in this novel and I love them even more. Raven is definitely sitting fierce at the top of my heroine leader board, she just never gives up, she fights and she thrives, she keeps her head held high and never backs down. You see just how much she loves her boys and in return how loyal and protective they are towards her in return.
Meagan kept me on the edge of my seat throughout this book, feeding my small bites of this twisted tale of secrets that turns the characters lives upside down and the ending OMG how my heart broke for the decision Raven was facing.
I am so glad I picked up this series and I am getting stuck into book 3 straight away to find out how it’s all going to end.
EEP!!! Ok, so I’m devouring these books! I get so wrapped up in them. Love the writing style that just drops you into the story. Then your stomach growls because you haven’t moved/ate for HOURS because you’ve been reading wanting to know what is going to happen next!!
My heart!!! Ugh…if this book couldn’t be any more better. Had me at the edge of my seat. Meagan is definitely taking you on a ride with this series that you wont forget. Every single Brayshaw is perfect. I love every single one. Well maybe except for Rolland. But besides that, this is by far one of the best thrill rides I’ve been on in a long time. I cannot wait to read Maddoc and Ravens final book.
Join the spoiler room and you will see how much we love these characters!
I reread Boys of Brayshaw High prior to this book so that I would remember all the details to piece together everything that was to come in this book. And I would recommend anyone reading this to refresh themselves on BOBH and if you haven’t read Boys of Brayshaw High then you DEFINITELY need to prior to reading Trouble. And let me tell you now, Trouble is going to take you on a ride full of bumps, sudden turns, and oh so many wrong turns. You just might even hit a pothole, like I did, where you have to stop because the ride has gotten so intense it will blow your mind! But in the end, the journey that these characters make you go on is 100% worth it because it shows you just how badass Meagan Brandy’s characters truly are.
If you thought Raven was amazing in the first book, then you better brace yourself for Trouble. Throughout this book, you will see the immense amount of strength that Raven truly possesses and just how much true girt she has. She is a freaking QUEEN. And I’m ready to bow down to the new Brayshaw in town. I can’t wait to see how her story wraps up in Book 3, and I hope we will see even more justice served by the hands of Raven, our goddess, and queen.
Trouble showed an even more possessive side of Maddoc and I am absolutely here for it! I swear I swooned every single time he referred to Raven as baby in his thoughts. The banter of thoughts back and forth completely did me in. I am completely in love with Maddoc and that ending just reinforced it for me.
Boys of Brayshaw High exceeded any expectations I had of it, but this book completely exploded my mind, shattered my heart to pieces, and surprised me so much I think I have whiplash. After BOBH, I was absolutely pissed. It took me days to get over the cliffhanger and I was so furious that it ended the way it did. In Trouble, I assumed Meagan would leave us with another cliffhanger, but I think that it had the best ending it possibly could. It left me on a Trouble induced high. I am so fired up and ready for the war that is destined to come in book 3.
I won’t point out what I thought was going to have happened at the beginning of this book due to how the last one was left cos…spoilers. But crikey! What a rollercoaster. So many things revealed, so many more questions I now need answers to. Roll on the next book!
