“You don’t belong.”No words whispered in anger have ever rung more true. They’re the Kings of Brayshaw with the world at their feet, destined for greatness and in need of control. I’m the girl from the gutter with nothing to offer and as defiant as they come. They say it doesn’t matter, that I’m one of them now, and nothing could ever change that. Not even me, should I dare try.But they’re wrong.… dare try.
But they’re wrong.
They underestimate how far I’ll go to protect them.
Trouble is coming…and they have no idea.

Trouble At Brayshaw High is the the highly anticipated follow up to Boys of Brayshaw High, and should be read only after having read book one.
more
Holy shit! I just finished the follow-up to Boys of Brayshaw High, Trouble at Brayshaw High, by Meagan Brandy, and I am completely blown away! I absolutely ADORED book two, and I would go so far as to say that it’s even better than book one!
Sometimes it feels like the second book of a series – one that follows the same characters – is, in some ways, a fill gap to get to the next book, losing the momentum of book one, but that is definitely NOT the case here; every plot point, every scene, and every interaction among the main and secondary characters all play a role in moving the story forward, in illustrating the growth of its characters, in revealing answers to some of the questions asked in book one, and in adding more opportunities for readers to truly understand all the players involved in a game that continually changes based on the secrets and truths that are revealed.
Because Brandy continues to show readers new aspects of the Brayshaw brothers and their queen, Raven, we start to see who each of them is at their core, unveiling a depth to each one that has slowly been formed and reformed by other people’s presence in their lives. Each character’s growth is gradual and there are scenes where readers see hints of the ‘old’ versions, but then, soon after, we’re given key insights into who they’re becoming and what that means for those who work with them and against them.
Maddoc, Cap, and Royce have an unbreakable bond that was shaped by the fact that they chose to be brothers…to create a family that may not be blood related but have each other’s backs above anything else. These three bring both strengths and weaknesses to the Brayshaw moniker, but where one of them has a deficit, the other two more than make up for it, proving just how essential they are to one another. And even though readers only get Maddoc’s perspective throughout the course of the story, through their words and actions, it’s easy to understand who Cap and Royce are and what they’re willing to do for one of their own, and because Raven is now one of them and has planted herself in their lives, everyone around this foursome both fear and stand in awe of them, wondering exactly what Raven’s role is and how she managed to gain these boys’ respect and protection.
Raven continues to be the amazing badass who readers were introduced to, and based on the extreme situations she gets herself in as well as is forced to endure, she more than proves what she’s made of, what she’s willing to do to protect her guys, and why, regardless of her affinity to run, to not allow anyone close, and to not look or be weak, she’s exactly where she’s meant to be, where she belongs, and where her Madman and his brothers will keep her despite other people’s desire to bring them and her down. I’m in awe of Raven’s tenacity…her ability to tell it like it is…her ability to hold her head high no matter the situation. She’s truly one-of-a-kind, unmatched in every way, and that’s what will see her through the maelstrom circling around her…that and the three guys who won’t see her used as a pawn.
In Trouble at Brayshaw High, it becomes clearer the number of chess pieces that are in play in this high stakes game, but there remain a bevy of unanswered questions. Every character seems to have an ulterior motive when it comes to the Brayshaw Boys and Raven, especially those who believe they run this town and all of its happenings. But here’s the thing, nothing seems to be occurring according to a specific plan because there are too many variables to work around, which means that those who are supposed to be pawns are the real game changers, making everything unpredictable and illogical, and a primary reason for it is a trio of guys who are no longer boys but men who won’t be dictated to…who will not roll over and be pressured into something that they don’t want to do and when it comes to a certain sassy, strong, and independent girl who has come to mean everything to them, there’s nothing they wouldn’t do to protect her as she has protected them.
The continuation of Raven, Maddoc, Cap, and Royce’s story is everything I hoped it would be and more. Meagan Brandy seamlessly crafted and laid out the plot line, offering readers necessary revelations at just the right moments and holding back certain details that still need to be sorted and pondered before they can be brought to the surface. One aspect of the story that I appreciated the most was that Brandy didn’t add any unnecessary drama into the story line. Don’t get me wrong, this book is definitely angst filled but all of the dramatics are warranted and help to shed light on how manipulative some characters are and everything that Raven is up against in this new world she lives in and wants to remain in, proving that she belongs so much more than people are willing to admit.
It’s going to be a struggle waiting for book three to release, but knowing where Maddoc, Cap, and Royce stand at the end of Trouble at Brayshaw High will allow me to endure until Meagan Brandy takes her readers back to Brayshaw High.
5 Poison Apples
WHAT JUST HAPPENED!? Meagan Brandy you are the queen of cliffhangers! I did NOT see that coming, not by a long shot!
This book was one of my most anticipated spring reads and it totally blew all my expectations out of the water, this was amazing! The boys and Raven are back in the sequel to Boys of Brayshaw High and everything you thought you knew is turned upside down. And every time you think you’ve got everything figured out, things are flipped again and you’re left wondering what the truth is. This is a MAJOR page turner and I could not put it down!
I didn’t think it was possible for our boy Maddoc to get even more alpha but man oh man did he! Can I just claim him as my top book boyfriend right now!? I love that guy so much. So. Damn. Much.
And Raven continues to be an absolute queen! She doesn’t take any crap from anybody and she’s not afraid to kick some ass. Her and Maddoc are serious couple goals and I’m literally on the edge of my seat here now waiting for book 3 to come out to see how this all pans out!!
Go and read this book people!!!
*i received an ARC and this is my honest review.*
WHAT IS HAPPENING! OMG this book (and series) is taking me through the ringer! I knew there were going to be secrets, lies, and betrayals but I didn’t realize just how MUCH it was going to affect me! Damn, Meagan! You have written an ANGST fest here… And quite frankly? I LOVE IT! Trouble at Brayshaw High is the second book in the Brayshaw series and MUST be read in order. Make sure to read Boys of Brayshaw High PRIOR to this one. If you are a fan of young adult/ new adult romances with dark elements then this is a MUST read for you. It’s actually one of my FAVORITE series of all time so I HIGHLY recommend it!
In this installment, Rave, Maddoc, Royce, and Captain are back! Only this time, we learn a little bit more about them, their family ties, and what they will do for the one they love. The cliffhanger from book 1 is explained (thank GOD) and makes sense in terms of the overall plot twist (which is crazy and twisted!). Readers will still be left with unanswered questions as this one will be continued into the next book, but is satisfying enough that you can fully enjoy this story! The title of the book is also very fitting for this one. There IS trouble at Brayshaw… And you are in for the ride of your life!
I won’t be getting into plot details as this book (and series) must be read to fully understand everything going on, but I will say this is an AWESOME addition to the series and is a MUST read! I devoured this book in 24 hours even though I had so much adulting to do. I just couldn’t stop reading. Every second I had some free time I picked this book up and continued where I left off. It’s THAT good. <3
Meagan Brandy
TABH has been one of my most anticipated novels this Spring. I fell in love with Raven and these bad boys of Brayshaw in BOBH and never looked back. I didn’t think I could love them harder….but I was wrong! M Brandy has done it again – she completely reeled me in from the first page, and I held my breath the rest of the way. This book is everything – lust, passion, betrayal, power plays, family drama, and twists and turns every other page. Get your detective glasses on and grab a notepad because you don’t want to miss anything!
Raven Carver is a force to be reckoned with. She is a queen. She has proven her strength and determination and gained respect and loyalty of those around her she doesn’t even realize are there. This girl is my idol. Her independence and self-sacrifice in this book may bring you to tears at times, and have you standing up and cheering for her in the next moment. Her character development is jaw-dropping. Although she is still the feisty and reactionary girl she was before – she proceeds with more caution this time around. She is smart and calulating, and every move she makes has a purpose.
These boys…oh where do I start?!?! Maddoc – Big Man….I sighed and swooned over this guy like no other. He is a powerhouse – he is bigger than LIFE in this book and no one, NO ONE is going to get in his way of what he wants, and that’s his girl. His passion for Raven is everything. It is raw and real, and his possessive nature kicked up a notch every time they were together. He has a fight in him that is unique to his character – he’s fearless, confident, dominating, yet knows just when to give Raven the little bit of slack she needs on their tethered rope.
Royce & Raven’s relationship took up right where they left off. Royce is the “little boy” of the group who still hides behind his humor and sexual innuendos but deep down just wants love and attention. As hard as Raven is – she is the perfect sidekick for Royce. She calls him on his BS, yet is a gentle hand and calming force with him when needed. I absolutely love these two when they have their moments together!
If I could choose one of these boys to have for myself, it would be Captain. This guy is not only charming and compassionate, but he’s level-headed, stoic and the takes on the responsible role of the three of them. He’s a care-taker – making breakfast and driving them everywhere, yet he will throw down at the drop of a hat when those closest to him need him. I wanted to jump right into the pages of the book and into his arms when he busts out his brass knuckles and baseball bat. Sigh….this guy is sexy, smart, and a badass! Slam Dunk! He can throw me over his shoulders any day of the week!
This book is so much more than a young adult romance between Raven and Maddoc. These characters have pulled me into their chaos and I never want to let go – I feel like I am right there at their parties, in their houses, watching them play basketball (dear LORD!) and can FEEL their passion and emotions. You don’t just read this book – you live and breathe every page of it. You will have some questions answered, yet more will pop up as their story continues. Villains appear and surprising alliances are formed/rebuilt. These boys and Raven are woven deep into my mind, heart and soul and I just want MORE of them!!! I can’t wait for their story to continue. Well done once again M Brandy!
This book literally ROCKED MY WORLD!!! It is absolutely EVERYTHING you hoped for and SOOO much more! Meagan Brandy threw us into the deep end from the first word and even though I’m finished reading it I’m still swimming!!! There’s nothing simple about this book or its characters; my mind is swirling with theories and possibilities. What I love most about Meagan Brandy’s books is you should most definitely expect the unexpected! You can theorize all day long but she’s still going to BLOW YOUR MIND! To me this is the sign of an AMAZING book, a remarkable Author! When you feel every word….every single emotion. So much that it’s not possible for you to roll into a new book because you can‘t quit thinking about this one!!
Rae ( Raven to those closest to her) is by far my favorite book heroine. She is such a badass, her strength and determined personality is exactly what she needed to survive her life. Being the daughter of a prostitute has taken it’s toll on her; causing her to learn to take care of herself, depend on no one and put up with nothing! She’s not about to back down to anyone….it’s just not who she is. Raven is unable to attach herself to anyone, to love them because she’s never had it growing up. Finding the boys, after so much push and pull…she finally finds that she wants to keep them. She develops feelings and connections that she continues to fight against. Just you wait though…wait until you see how far she will go to protect the boys she’s grown to “care about” so much!
”Family runs deeper than blood, yet it’s the ones we chose
we’ll so willingly bleed for.”
Raven, Trouble at Brayshaw Academy
The Brayshaw boys…there really are no words that could adequately describe these three guys that Meagan Brandy has created. They are the top of their school and their town. These brothers basically run everything around them. I’ll start with Maddoc, because this guy is the peanut butter to my jelly! This broody, possessive and sexy Alpha male is beyond what I’ve ever experienced in my own lifetime…but damn is it enticing. I can understand exactly why Rae is unable to resist him. Captain and Royce definitely show another side of themselves in this book. Seeing how all three of the boys respond to Raven and everything going in TAB makes my heart so warm and happy! The bond that has formed between the boys and Raven is #familygoals !!!! You just wish your family was as tight as they are! The way they are willing to sacrifice ANYTHING for each other.
Maddoc & Rae…these two are absolutely perfect together! Breathtakingly PERFECT! These two alone or together are feared but when you put all all four of them together they are a force more powerful than anyone there has ever seen.
***If you haven’t read Boys of Brayshaw High, you need to NOW! You should also read The Wrong Blaze if you want the FULL EFFECT, there are crossover characters. The fact that Trouble picks up right where the Boys of Brayshaw left off was a HUGE plus for me! I love that the author did not try to give a little rundown of what happened in the previous book. This book most definitely earned it’s spot as a much anticipated read of 2019!
Meagan Brandy has taken it to the next level with the book!
I hope everyone is ready for what she has created!
These characters are so real. The dynamics between Maddoc, Captain, Royce, and Raven is complete and utter perfection. There is such great chemistry between them all, both sexual, platonic, and familial, that you can’t help but fall in love with them individually and as a quartet.
One again, my heart has been stolen by the strong, independent, and fierce Raven Carver (Rae). Rae has become my all-time favourite female character. I have never truly had the pleasure of reading such a strong female lead until Rae. She is EVERYTHING!
The story-line once again pulled me in and kept me guessing the entire time. Trust me when I say that this continuation from the Boys of Brayshaw High is even more epic. There are some utterly mind blowing revelations in this book!
I finished reading late last night and am planning on starting a reread tonight. That is how ABSOULTEY AMAZING this book is!
Again, I am left dying an impatient death for the release of the next book in this series, Brayshaw book #3!
Note: I may re-write this review in a couple of days, because I am still reeling from this book and I cannot even begin to articulate my feelings properly yet!
1am aannd DONE. EEEKKKK! THIS BOOK! The last page has just been turned and I raced here to discuss ALL. Ok that is a lie. I WANT to tell ALL but you need to experience this book on your own. So mums the word on all the juicy details, DANG IT. Ugh sigh – deep breath. My mind is spinning and I… I can’t even. Eek this book turned me into a stuttering fool. I will try again. Sooo…
Raven, MY GIRL, is back with even more story to tell. OMG I LOVE her and all her contradictions. As more of this story unravels there are so many WTH moments. Rae is such a fighter, battling her need for self preservation with her love for her guy and his brothers. INTENSE. I did feel as the story progressed she starts coming into her own even more so than the first book. Yes life has beat her down and it is hard for her to trust but I am rooting for her.
The Guys… these boys have wormed their way into my heart. Maddoc and his steamy, naughty ways with Rae know how to heat up the page. Cap and Royce only increase their dedication to the girl that rules their world. They all can be ferocious when protecting Rae which is almost funny considering what a scrapper she is. These boys did provide several laugh out loud moments (clears throat) but it often involved something on the naughty side. Wink.
I warn you, pay close attention cause this author is brilliantly evil and intertwines clues that lead us to understand the mysteries of this story. I think I might have found some insight. Yikes. What will happen next? Who are the good guys? Who is friend, foe, or even family? What aren’t I being told? I need to know all the secrets.
This story is a roller coaster ride of emotions. Between that and the need for answers, well it fed my desire to read faster. Haha. Holy heck plan to weave in and out high octane moments. This book is SO FLIPPING GOOD. The end has left me craving more. Did I mention, “I NEED TO KNOW ALL”. I know I did but I had to repeat myself. Happy Reading Everyone!
Trouble at Brayshaw High is Book 2 in the Brayshaw High series. It’s filled with secrets, surprises, lust, and plenty of angst!! Whatever you are expecting out of this book, be prepared to be completely.. WRONG.
Maddoc, Royce, and Cap continue to be some of my FAVORITE book boyfriends. (Yes, I said MY). I love them all. Royce shows more of his soft side in book 2. I loved him in the first book but I REALLY am starting to see this new softer side. I wasn’t quiet sure what to think of Cap in the first book. But he has grown on me and I love his silent conversations he has with his brothers and Raven. Maddoc. That’s all that needs to be said. That man is a MAN. He may have just turned 18, but I’ve been in love with him from the beginning.
Raven… Ohhh, Raven. She is and will continue to be my FAVORITE heroine. Ever. She is so fierce. She’s a fire-cracker. I love how she bows down to NO ONE. Man. Woman. Doesn’t matter. She stares the lion right in the eyes with her middle finger in the air. I love her to my core.
Meagan is and will continue to be one of top favorite authors. The passion that she puts behind her characters proves that she puts her all into her books. Trouble at Brayshaw High throws you all over the place. You think you know what is going to happen and when something goes down, it leaves you speechless. That’s me right now after finishing this book.. SPEECHLESS.
I was captivated by every word, every chapter, every scene of this book. Now that I’ve finished it, I don’t know how I can possibly wait for book 3!! This book deserves all the stars and more!!
“We weren’t ready for you, Raven Carver.
We weren’t fucking ready.”
Well, let me tell you that I wasn’t ready either! Trouble at Brayshaw High completely blew my mind and I don’t know what to do with myself. I stayed up all night because I couldn’t put this book down, I was so engrossed with this story. Meagan Brandy didn’t write just the continuation for BOBH… She extended the plot so much that I was reading Trouble with my mouth agape. At every turn I’d find new surprises and mysteries and my emotions were flying all around the place. Luckily, I had something to hold onto in the form of Raven and the boys. Even though they were caught themselves in the whirlwind of situations that have jeopardized their special bond…
Yes, this book starts where the previous ended. But if you think that you have the slightest idea where this story goes, YOU’RE WRONG. The twists and turns in the storyline made me squirming in my seat and I was holding my breath all the time. There are so many unexpected plots that left me in a complete stupor! I’m still in a daze and the questions like ‘what?’, ‘how?’, ‘are you serious?’ are flowing in my head. Prepare yourself for the biggest shocker in your life!
I’m not just loving the characters of this book. I LIVE FOR THEM. Raven is the QUEEN. This chick is loyal to a fault, selfless, protective and so fierce! Her need to keep the boys safe has no bottom and there’s nothing she won’t do for them, even if it means sacrifice herself in the process. She’s still reckless and hot-headed, but we can see the change in her personality. Even if she doesn’t want it, she’s slowly learning how to love. And Maddoc… I love him with my whole heart! He’s such a possessive, super-protective alpha! But in this part we can also see his softer, more vulnerable side and this made him the WHOLE PACKAGE. I want to crawl in this book and claim him as mine!
Their relationship may have its ups and downs, but their bond is unbreakable. Without labels and named feelings I just know that they would DIE for each other. Their intimacy is incredibly passionate and intense! Just reading these scenes made me all hot and bothered…
Royce and Captain are also amazing- Royce with his humor and playboy ways, and Cap with his maturity. But don’t let them fool you- poke them and they’ll wreck a havoc.
Trouble of Brayshaw High was one of my most anticipated reads this year and what Meagan Brandy gave me is beyond all my expectations! More action, more twists and turns, more steam, more of everything! TABH consumed my mind and soul. And I crave more!
#BrayGirlForLife !
Just wow that was not what I was expecting for book 2. So many new twists.
I couldn’t wait to read this book and it certainly didn’t disappoint. It kept me on the edge waiting to find out what happens next…
Brilliant book.
Can’t wait to read book 3 and find out what happens next
Holy Cow!!! This book is amazing! If you thought you were in love with these boys in book 1…book 2 just blew it out of the water!! Meagan Brandy is one incredible writer.
Raven and Maddoc will just give you all the feels. Cap will still swoon you and Royce has all the smooth talking banter. There are so many twist and turns that will just leave you speechless! So many questions remain unanswered…that last line…gah Book 3 can’t come fast enough!!!
I’m completely mind blown right now! This book totally just blew everything out of the water and left me sitting here with my jaw hitting the floor thinking “wth just happened”. This book is so much more then I could imagine.
First off make sure you read Boys of Brayshaw High bc this books picks up right where BOBH ends. Second you need to go into this not thinking you know what’s gonna happen, why? Bc there is so many twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. I literally had to go back a few times to make sure I read parts right, yeah it’s that mind blowing.
Raven is still the sassy girl and boys are still doing their thing. But now secrets are coming out and things are going not how they expected.
“Family runs deeper than blood.”
Not wanting to give anything away I’ll leave you with this. Make sure you are okay with cliffhanger bc Book 1 and this book leaves you with major cliffhangers.
Can’t wait to see what book 3 brings.
Amazing, epic, incredible, heart wrenching, disturbing, deep, vicious, and EPIC.
This is the second book in this life altering trilogy. Become a Braygirl, because there is no going once you start this epic journey. Fall in love with Raven, Maddoc, Royce, and Captain.
If you read the first book you will know what you are getting yourself into, and if you have not read it read it now!
Raven will do anything to protect her boys, even though she doesn’t know why. Ravens damage runs deep, but she can’t walk away now. Not after all they have been through, not after her three Brayshaw boys have claimed her as theirs. Not after Maddoc has made his chose.
This life will never be easy, and it will never stay calm. There is always something around the next corner and this cliffhanger Meagan has left is on is dangerous. I not sure how this will end but there is no going back now and I know I’m not the only one hanging on for dear life.
All I know for sure is Raven will come out on top! And hopefully with her boys by her side. Needless to say this book is life changing and I’m
Not so patiently waiting for the third and final book in series. I hope Meagan doesn’t make us wait too long
Trouble is coming?!
You bet Trouble came and along with it brought along a hella lot of stuff with her in this book. Shit just hit the fan and everything is up in the air as one bomb is dropped after the other, left, right and centre. Trouble at Brayshaw High is way more intense in terms of all the sub-l=plots and damn if the drama ain’t through the roof.
The number of theories that are circling around his trilogy — the hints, the Easter eggs that we sure as hell aren’t even close to figuring out, the revelations about the OG Brayshaw’s and the Gravens — I need a freaking minute to breathe!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the freaking rollercoaster of angst and high-end drama! *wails in bookworm*
And some of the truth bombs that were dropped had me staring at my Kindle in a daze and I’m left with more questions than I can count, most of which have to do with Raven and the final bomb that was dropped at the end of the book.
Fuck this! Actually no because I NEED the freaking third book desperately and I want all those answers and I want Raven going all badass shittastic on everyone with her boys beside her! So many repressed emosh in me.
I’m dying to get my hand on Reign of Brayshaw and most of all I am itching to read about Raven coming out on the top with a freaking crown on her head.
4 Stars!
The second book in the Brayshaw High Series was thrilling, intense and bursting with desires and revelations. We wanted answers and we got them but we also got more twist and turns and a hell of a cliffhanger. All the new drama and dilemas from our Brayshaw gang will leave you wanting to throw your kindle to the wall. I know I did!!! I wanted to scream every time something unexpected happened to Raven and the guys.
. . . .
Raven Carver becomes more badass in this book. She is a bit reckless when it comes to protecting her guys. Maddoc, Captain and Royce have engrave themselves inside her heart. She will do ANYTHING for them. Raven is a fighter, resilient, strong, ruthless and the perfect queen for the Brayshaw Kingdom.
.
Maddoc Maddoc Maddoc! If you girl thought he was on fire in BOBH, you have seen nothing yet. In this book he has no restraints whatsoever in when it comes to Raven and his family safety. He is possessive, loyal, strong and all alpha male. He won’t stop until it’s clear to Raven that her place is at his side. He will deal with anyone standing in the way of his family.
I can’t wait for the next book. I need to know. The revelations brought in this one left me with a big WTH face.
So much happens in this book and it is so good. It begins with Raven running away from the guys when she finds out that Collins has a video of her and all three boys together the one time they were together. Even though they didn’t have sex, she knows the video could look bad for the guys, especially Cap who is trying to get custody of his daughter Zoey.
She returns after a few hours but is being blackmailed by Collins and eventually does betray the Brayshaw boys, though I won’t give away spoilers on how. So many other things happen in this book, it is one huge surprise after another. I am loving all of the intrigue and family drama as well as how everything is tying together.
This book also ends in a cliffhanger so I can’t wait for the next book.
When the first book in a series makes such a huge impression on me I’m always nervous going into the next.
Well holy heck, this book takes off where the previous book ends, actually it explodes into action where the previous book ends and it continues the whole way throughout!! Raven, Maddoc, Cap and Royce’s strengths and loyalties are truly tested. I quite literally devoured this book, there is not one single page where you could even consider pausing your read. My emotions were off the chart, from anger, to frustration, swooning to fearing the worst!! The plot twists come thick and my nerves were shot and if i didn’t already love these characters they just continued to capture me all the more !!!!
Raven is my Heroine, she’s strong, independent and loyal to the core. Those boys took my heart in the first book, and in this book they absolutely owned me !!! Nothing is what you expect, it’s so much more!!!! I really didn’t think this series could get better but OMG it just exceeds everything you expect and want !!!!!
I don’t even know where to begin with this review. Trouble at Brayshaw High is one of the best books I have read this year. Meagan Brandy kept me on the edge of my seat the whole damn time. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough as I was dying to find out what was happening but I wanted to savor the story too. Especially the tender moments between Maddoc and Raven. Because in their fucked up world, they deserved those tender moments.
And these characters – I am head over heels in love with Maddoc, Captain, and Royce. Raven is hands down one of my favorite female characters ever! She’s so smart, fierce, sassy, and fearless. She’s the queen of that crew and not just because she’s part of their crew. But because she earned it.
TABH is not a standalone and should only be read if you previously read Boys of Brayshaw High.
What the actual FUCKING HELL did I just read?
This book… OMFG this book was so much more than I could of ever anticipated.
Let me start off with saying:
1. If you haven’t read Boys of Brayshaw High, you need to jump on that shit right now. Because this is part 2 of the Brayshaw series.
2. Oh and while your at it read The Wrong Blaze as well. Hell you need to read all of Meagan Brandy’s words really.
3. Make sure are OK with a cliffy that has the ability to fuck you up. Because if you’re not then you may want to walk away now, and wait for the series to fully be released.
So to keep this review spoiler free I will not go over details. But, I will say that Raven is one bad ass bitch. Hell she’s a mother fucking Queen. And the Brayshaw boys… Fuck me… they are the pieces that Raven didn’t know she needed. If you think you know how things are going to play out. Trust me when I say you have no fucking clue. When you think things are up, they are really down. And nothing will prepare you for how things unfold.
Brandy will have your heart racing from chapter 1, and she doesn’t let up. Nope not one moment that you sit there reading does she ease up on your emotions. Hell she will leave you screaming when you reach the last page. I know I found my self jumping from the following:
1. That can’t be fucking it
2. What the actual fuck
3. Fuck no, shit just got real.
I’m hoping that Brandy doesn’t keep me waiting for the next book for very long. Because, just like my next breath, I need the next book. I need to know how things play out. Hell I just really need more Raven and Maddoc. My doctor would disagree with me needing the next book, by how my blood pressure was thru the roof with each page I turned.
Now if your not one that loves angst to the degree of wanting to cuss an author out. Then walk away now while you can. But, if your looking for a series, or hell just books in general that will make your heart race, well Meagan Brandy is your author.
Demons love to play in the dark.
Full of lies and secrets and schemes, and I loved every word of it!
