In this thriller in the #1 New York Times bestselling Joe Pickett series, the Wyoming game warden is up against a vicious killer who’s more beast than man… Local authorities in Twelve Sleep County, Wyoming, are quick to label a rash of animal mutilations as the work of a grizzly bear, but game warden Joe Pickett suspects that something far more sinister is afoot. And when the bodies of two men … when the bodies of two men are found disfigured in the same way, his worst feats are confirmed: A modern-day Jack the Ripper is on the loose—and the killings have just begun.

Just say c j box or joe picket and I grab it as usual it gets a little western – somewhat politically topical fairly treated- ficitionalization actual event exciting tension biuldet hard to put down
Highly recommend ALL of CJ Box’ books… If you have not read Box, start with “Open Season”
Inspired me to collect and read the whole Joe Pickett series.
All of CJ Box’s book are good. Can’t wait for a new one.
Love whole Joe Picket series.
C.J. box is always entertains
As usual CJ Box entertains with a well done mystery about animal mutilation that has some historical pasts as being real. I just wish authors won’t slip into the alien trend that is so popular today but is distracting to those of us who just don’t want to read that stuff. Well written and well researched except for aliens!
Great read….very easy flowing….plot gets you to really think about things a different way
Very suspenseful. Keeps you turning the page. Love the joe Picket series. Admirable characters.
C.J. Box has found a nitch that is unique. At first, I thought why would I want to read about a low level state employee of the north west, but he nails it book after book!
Enjoyed it, love this psychological thrillers. I recommend it.
