Jack Reacher hunts the hunter in the third novel in Lee Child’s New York Times bestselling series.Ex military policeman Jack Reacher is enjoying the lazy anonymity of Key West when a stranger shows up asking for him. He’s got a lot of questions. Reacher does too, especially after the guy turns up dead. The answers lead Reacher on a cold trail back to New York, to the tenuous confidence of an … tenuous confidence of an alluring woman, and the dangerous corners of his own past.

I Loved it
Great Reacher read.
Easy read and not bad. Expected more but didn’t feel I wasted my time reading it.
Reacher books are always great!
This is an early Reacher novel by Lee Child. It immediately grabs your attention with good writing, interesting characters and suspense. Set years after Vietnam, Reacher attempts to help some parents find out what happened to their son during the war, if he is really dead. It becomes a puzzle with many twists and some romance thrown in that is suspenseful and enjoyable. I would rate it 4.5 if I had the option.

I think Victor was Reacher toughest I adversary. I loved the ending. I loved how this story had me guessing from beginning to end. Awesome job Mr. Lee.
Jack Reacher books are always a good read and exciting
I enjoy every Jack Reacher book
Tripwire is a gritty case in which a former Vietnam veteran turns into a sadistic extortioner who threatens innocent borrowers and steals their assets. Our hero has to protect the woman he loves and bring down the killer.
If you are a Jack Reacher fan, then Tripwire is a book for you. I love the series. Reacher is quirky, but observant in a Sherlock Holmes kind of way minus the drugs. He’s military but bends the rules – a contradiction in terms. Fun to read series.
Reacher never disappoints. This book is more violent than most, but otherwise enjoyable.
The Early Reacher books are one great read after the next. Tripwire is one of the best, as it provides an intriguing mystery to go along with the almost nonstop action. And you can parachute into the series almost anywhere as there isn’t a lot of history buildup from one book to the next the way some series do.
I love the whole Jack Reacher series.
If you’re a Lee Child fan you’ll be a bit disappointed.
In the many books I have read with Jack Reacher this is one of Child’s best. I recommend it highly. NL
Have to confess – can’t read enough Jack Reacher. Lee Child’s ‘Jack Reacher’ series has enough twists and turns to keep me page-turning late into the night – when I should be sleeping – oh well! Not through all the books yet, so I’m glad to have more book on this interesting character going through complex action-packed challenges.
Lee Child is perhaps the best writer on the market today. His stories build little things into dramatic endings that hold one enthralled until the end. Jack Reacher as he hero is fascinating; once one reads enough stories with him you can predict what his actions/reactions will be to various scenarios and if for some reason he doesn’t do what you think he always has a good reason you did not see coming even though you are disappointed he did not react to the way you “wanted” him to. I will always read he next story in Reacher’s adventures.
This is a typical Jack Reacher book magnetic as always our hero does not disappoint!!
I have read every Lee Child’s Reacher series and each one has me turning the pages as fast as I can read. I only hope is that he continues the series as long as I able to read.
