Will their trivial tie take them all the way to happily-ever-after?Ivory Osburn has a six-year-old son she hasn’t told very many people about. Certainly not the handsome cowboy billionaire she’s had her eye on for a few months. She starts a relationship with Tripp … relationship with Tripp Walker, only to push him away when he gets too close. She’s not sure how to explain things to him, and she’s fine on her own. She is.

Tripp’s been trying to figure out how to get on the same page as Ivory for a while. When she comes asking him to tie the knot with her—on paper only, of course—he thinks maybe that marriage certificate will be the common ground they need. Plus, the sparks with Ivory are hot, and he wants to find out if they can have a real, lasting relationship.
To keep her son, she’ll risk her life. And anything else she has to—even Tripp’s heart. Could their trivial tie be exactly what they both need to achieve a happily-ever-after?

This is a lovely, emotional, clean, happy ever after romance. Loved it!
Love this series. Books are quick and enjoyable to read.
Tripp’s Trivial Tie is book 2 in the Seven Sons Ranch A Three Rivers Romance. This story is about Tripp who has been dating Ivory until she would tell him she needed a break, and this has happened more than once. When he gets another date with her she suggests that they get married in name only to save her son Oliver. Tripp does everything to make her feel like she is loved and taken care of but still Ivory can’t feel for Tripp like he loves her. You honestly get so emotionally involved in this story that it really hurts what is happening to them and that just goes to prove how good this story is written.
This is a nice story but I got a little tired of Ivory’s back & forth about Tripp’s money, not wanting to accept it. Don’t totally understand her not loving Tripp either. The theme seems a lot like the first book to be.
Why has it taken me so long to find the author Liz Isaacson? This is the second book I have read by her (It’s also the second book in this series), and I am enjoying it supremely! I love how she weaves in other characters and their points of view. It truly is like being in a lovely community, and I can’t wait to see the other stories unfold!
I was a little unsure about Ivory, at first. But soon, I could see how her ex had given her PTSD that caused her stress and depression. This Situation was handled with compassion, in a way that didn’t make the story itself depressing.
I received an ARC copy of this book and I am leaving a voluntary review.
I loved this installment in the series. I actually read it last as I started the series with the 3rd book – I most certainly do NOT recommend that. So, I knew all of these characters and their outcomes and futures before ever starting the book, however, that really didn’t make it any less impactful. It was full of amazing characters and life lessons. Second and third and fifth and seventh chances – love gives every chance, every day, and it keeps on giving.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Loved Tripp and Ivory’s story. This is a story about love, what it means and how we all look at it differently. I really enjoy these books and the characters of this town. I like the detail and how Tripp has spent so much time waiting for Ivory to be ready to date him, he never gives up. I like how Oliver and Tripp form a bond, one that is very strong and plays an important part in the story and isn’t just an after thought. These men are strong and have faith, I really like that about this series and this writer.
I received a free copy of this book. With a chance meeting in a grocery store parking lot Tripp and Ivory’s story begins and what a story it is. I enjoyed reading this fairy tale story with real life mixed in. What great depth in the characters.
Another awesome read from Liz.
Tripp really likes Ivory, but she has a problem with trust and men. She dates him for a while then backs off. She gets papers from her ex that he is filing for full custody for their son Oliver, so now she needs Tripp. She needs a husband to convince the Judge that she is capable of providing for her son. Problem is she can’t by herself because she is behind on mortgage payments and all other bills and they are eating pancakes for every meal.
She asks Tripp to marry her, on paper only so that she can show the court that she can provide what is needed.
I highly recommend this book or any of Liz’s book to all who like good clean Inspirational reading. And to find out how this turns out.
This Seven Sons Ranch Series is great! I love that the brothers are older and that all of the characters have previous life experiences that influence their feelings. Tripp loves Ivory and her son. Ivory didn’t have good role models for marriage and after being hurt by her first husband is afraid to let herself love again. With the help of a therapist and a lot of prayer she sees that she can love and be loved again. The interaction and sense of family between the brothers is beautiful. And even though this is Tripp’s story it’s amusing to see the things that are happening to “gruff” Jeremiah and the other brothers. Don’t miss this new clean read from Liz Isaacson!
Great storyline with family about brothers that live on a ranch and don’t want to get married. But…
This book has drama, humor, romance, a sense of family togetherness, and great characters. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and gave my honest opinion.
Tripp, another brother from the Seven Sons Ranch has found the woman he wants to be his life-mate but she has serious issues that have to be dealt with before he can find his HEA with Ivory. Ms. Isaacson has once again done a marvelous job incorporating some real issues of everyday life into a sweet and clean romance book. I always enjoy her books!
The Walker brothers are blessed with being drop dead gorgeous and more money than they can spend. They all have strong work ethics so what is their problem? They seem to be cursed when it comes to the ladies and happily ever after. Rhett was the first to break their “no women” pact”, now Tripp is drawn to Ivory, a single mom. This is a story of learning to trust and then to love. You will fall in love with Oliver, Ivory’s son. This is a very enjoyable story. I look forward to the rest of the Walker men learning to trust and love.
This pair led me on a merry roller-coaster ride. Through the previous book, I had already started falling in love with all the Walker brothers and this story only made me love Tripp all the more. He is everything I’ve come to expect in a cowboy and true southern gentleman: noble, generous, kind, loving. I could keep going but I’m pretty sure you understand where I’m going with this. Ivory is a fierce mama-bear defending her cub. Unfortunately, a lot of her choices have her “cutting off her nose to spite her face”. This means she’s learned how to isolate herself but not the fine art of asking for or accepting help. Maybe it’s because this has been my problem too, and that I connected with her because of it, but she drove me simply crazy. I’m very glad that this book shows her getting the proper treatment for her issues before she and Tripp can solve their problems. I’m already looking forward to seeing how the next book is going to play out.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
Fear and pride really have Ivory in their grasp.
Tripp loves her, and her son, but does he have the patience to wait while she works through her issues?
I couldn’t see this as any other way but Ivory using Tripp. I saw her as extremely selfish. I understand she was desperate, and maybe she wouldn’t have made the decision of not for her son, so you had to feel a little for her.
I felt badly for Tripp because he gave everything. He loved Ivory’s son wholeheartedly. He felt used, and he was used.
I’m glad Ivory made some changes in her life that resulted in their HEA, but this book was just OK for me.
I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy.
