Three hot contemporary baseball romances by USA Today bestselling author Mindy Klasky, in one sizzling volume.
Perfect Pitch: Beauty queen Samantha Winger is launching her pet project, a music program for kids, but she has to follow the pageant’s rules—no smoking, drinking, or “cavorting.” That’s fine, until star pitcher DJ Thomas shows up. When paparazzi catch the couple in a steamy make-out … paparazzi catch the couple in a steamy make-out session, Sam’s music program is on the block. Will DJ cost Samantha everything she believes in?
Catching Hell: Veteran catcher Zach Ormond’s no-trade clause will let him retire a star in Raleigh. Twenty-five-year-old Anna Benson is the acting owner of the team. When Zach finally realizes Anna is no longer a star-struck kid, their passion flares like a game-winning grand slam. But when the team needs a new player, Anna must convince Zach to forfeit his no-trade guarantee. Can Anna and Zach live happily ever after if their romance destroys the team they love?
Reaching First: Hotheaded Tyler Brock owes one hundred hours of community service for starting a bar fight. Lost in a new town with a new team, Tyler can’t tell anyone his greatest secret — he can’t read. When he’s assigned to work for Emily Holt, he’s in even bigger trouble. Emily is beautiful, uptight, and ready to shed her secret, unwanted virginity. They hit it off, in more ways than one. But when illiterate Tyler shirks his book-bound community service, Emily must hold him accountable. Can this mismatched pair save each other by sharing their long-held secrets?

Fun series
not my style
Three books whose themes reveal around baseball players and their love interests. Each theme is believable and quick moving. Enjoyable reading.
Quick fun read.
Short, trite, not badly written
it was cute
Was a little slow in pace at times
Love baseball, so it was great.
I thought the book was so-so only because the conclusions to each of the 3 stories ended very unrealistically. I can’t imagine a professional sports figure would propose marriage after only knowing someone for such a short period of time, it just doesn’t happen in real life. I did finish reading the book, but I’m not sure I would continue reading …
Very good read , would recommend to friends
Cheesy stories.
Predictable
I enjoyed this book so much
I liked it enough to read through all three stories but just. I found the characters not particularly believable and it was full of stereotypes that had me questioning if the author was writing for this period and we weren’t tossed back to the 50s. The baseball fan in me appreciated the basic correctness of that aspect of the books.
The endings …
I’m not a sports fan but loved these 3 baseball stories. Very well written.
Liked how the characters were interwoven in the Triple Play 1 and 2. Great read for a vacation.
I love reading books that are created around sports, especially baseball 🙂 I was a bit skeptical when I first began the series but it quickly pulled me in and I didn’t want to put it down.
The characters are well built and the reader can sympathize with their story lines.
i recommend this book to anyone looking for a good HEA ending.
Loved this series! Can’t wait to read the next ones.
Loved the characters and the baseball just made it more fun!
Great sports stories
