#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • Something big is brewing in Trenton, N.J., and it could blow at any minute. Stephanie Plum might not be the world’s greatest bounty hunter, but she knows when she’s being played. Ken Globovic (aka Gobbles), hailed as the Supreme Exalted Zookeeper of the animal house known as Zeta fraternity, has been arrested for beating up the dean of students at Kiltman College. … of students at Kiltman College. Gobbles has missed his court date and gone into hiding. People have seen him on campus, but no one will talk. Things just aren’t adding up, and Stephanie can’t shake the feeling that something funny is going on at the college—and it’s not just Zeta fraternity pranks.
As much as people love Gobbles, they hate Doug Linken. When Linken is gunned down in his backyard it’s good riddance, and the list of possible murder suspects is long. The only people who care about finding Linken’s killer are Trenton cop Joe Morelli, who has been assigned the case, security expert Ranger, who was hired to protect Linken, and Stephanie, who has her eye on a cash prize and hopefully has some tricks up her sleeve.

Intriguing and amusing
Stephanie Plum is a hoot. The world’s worst bounty hunter who always manages to get her man (or woman) in the most original ways. Her side kick, Lulu, is a plus size, spandex wearing, gun toting ex-hooker that always makes me laugh. Grandma Mazur never fails to deliver laughs as she awaits the next big showing at the funeral home. I have read them all and look forward to the next one.
I have so much fun reading the Stephanie Plum novels. How can you not have fun reading them?
Cute easy read.
These books are a fun and quick read. I love the various relationships between the characters and ups and downs of Stephanie’s love life. Whenever I just want to laugh, I read one of the books in this series. It always hits the mark! Don’t miss out. Read the series today!
Who cannot enjoy a Stephanie Plum novel? Cannot put down until it is finished
This book is unpredictable and action-packed. Stephanie Plum, a bounty hunter, is a street smart Jersey girl and she must have nine lives. Someone is out to kill her but she takes a licking and keeps on ticking. The woman doesn’t seem to be afraid of anything or anyone. Except snakes. Stephanie always gets her man -she may need Ranger to help her, but she gets what/who she goes after. Janet Evanovich creates the most unusual characters. The narrator, Lorelei King, is fabulous! She is the absolute best at creating entertaining voices. You have no trouble differentiating between characters.
Love this series!
I love all of the Stephanie Plum stories and this one doesn’t dissappoint!
Easy, fast read, likable characters, realistic plot.
Every book in the series is a great feel-good read
When I want a light, easy to read book, I pick up a Stephanie Plum. I always come away with a smile, although I can’t figure out how she hasn’t been shot or worse as yet.
Keep them coming!
It is fun, witty with wonderful characters. It is an entertains easy read.
I love all of Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum bounty hunter books. Quirky characters, fun reads. Love the steamy Ranger and Joe characters. Grandma Mazur is one of my favorite characters.
Her books are always a great read. Love them
Would have been 5 for this genre, but some language too crude for my taste.
Love the Stephanie Plum series.
After reading most of the Stephanie Plum books I think the new ones are forced funny, nastier language, and becoming boring.
I absolutely love the Stephanie Plumer stories. When I feel down, I read a Stephanie Plumer book and the humor picks me up.
Another good book in the series
