I hated to trick her…But I knew she would never go for the real me.She was beautiful, smart and funny—everything I could want. And I was… well. Me.Tattooed, foul mouthed, bad boy.I told one little white lie hoping to meet someone different. And I did.Danniella Abbot. She wasn’t who I was expecting, and I guess she could say the same, because Danni made it very clear she wasn’t interested in me … because Danni made it very clear she wasn’t interested in me or my reasons for lying.
The fact that she was my best friend’s little sister only complicated an already impossible situation.
I didn’t intend on tricking her. I just wanted her to give me a chance, to discover who I am underneath the ink.
She can fight me all she likes because we both know that I’m exactly her type. She just doesn’t know it yet.
What happens when you wake up married to the woman you tricked into a date?
You kiss the bride and prove her wrong.

I love Dani and Carter’s story. This is a opposites attract and Brother’s best friend love story. Both characters looking for more try online dating and have an immediate connection. When they meet in person Dani discovers Carter is not the clean cut banker he pretended to be but a tattooed bad boy. Dani leaves hoping to never see him again, but soon discovers Carter is her brother’s best friend. Carter know he should stay away but there is something about Dani that shouts she is the one for him. Loved reading these two and their struggle as Carter tries to break Dani’s walls and Dani tries to struggle with her feelings for Carter. Wonderful story and characters. Love this series. I can’t wait for Kas and Spike’s story.
I received an ARC and volunteered to leave a review.

This book is the second book in the Rebel Ink Series and it is an awesome addition to the series. This romance story is one that everyone should read and I absolutely love this authors books and this series is hot. Book #1 Hate You
This is Danni and Carter’s story and you really do not want to miss.
Danni is a very beautiful, sexy independent woman and she wants to find a connection with some one. Danni has been on a few dates from her dating app but now she wants more, only when she gets there the guy is most defiantly not the same guy that she has been speaking to as he looks nothing like the picture she has. Now she wants nothing to do with him, he wasn’t what she was expecting.
Carter ‘Trick’ is a hot tattooed sexy guy that knows Danni is worth every second he can give her, all he needs to do now is prove to her that all there chats and words they have shared that that was still him it was all real. Carter has been through so much especially with family and my heart totally ached for him
He cant believe that Danni is his best friends sister and she cant believe that he tricked her, she feels lied to and she isn’t having any if it only fate has other ideas and when they meet again there sexual tension is of the charts and the chemistry that these two have is hot. Danni is very feisty with him and wont let him push her is she doesn’t want to.
I really love Danni and Carter and everything that he has been through is so hard and I really felt for him and when your reading it you can feel every word on the page. This book had my emotions all over the place and the way that this author writes really has you so invested in the characters that you cant put the book down until the very end.
I really enjoyed this book and I so love the tattooed sexy AF guy that this author writes fantastically in this series. I highly recommend that you read book one in this series because it is awesome and you will love that just as much.
A catfish story with a lot of steam and a ton of heart. An interconnected story where what happens in Vegas is a commitment that doesn’t stay in Vegas.
Titch/Carter didn’t mean to catfish Danni Abbott. He was only looking to get out of his one-night stand rut and using his brother’s picture (a banker in a suit without tattoos) seemed like a good idea at the time. Unfortunately, when Danni showed up for their face to face date she didn’t find his reasonings very reasonable. She was dead set that he was out to trick her from the get go and thus began their rocky relationship, Things didn’t get much better when Titch found out that Danni is Zach’s little sister. You see Zach is Titch’s best friend and co-worker at Rebel Ink. Zach is also dating Danni’s best friend Biff. Yeah, life just got a lot more complicated is his dating life.
I adore Titch’s wholehearted belief and tenacity that Danni would eventually give into her feelings for him. He is relentless in his pursuit of her which is really adorable and someone I’d totally want in my corner. He is caring, attentive, sweet, loving, artistic, and just an all around decent guy. Although Titch used his brother’s picture on his dating profile, he’s dealt a crappy hand when it comes to families. So many times I wanted to jump through my kindle and give him a hug.
Danni and Zach come from a wealthy family. Where her family name might give her certain privileges, she still works hard to keep her own apartment and be her own person. So, her independent attitude can be, at times is a bit abrasive, it is indicative of the person she is. Where her her attitude could be deemed as a bit much to take Carter actually loves her spunky spirit and never tries to dampen it. Perhaps it is the environment he himself grew up in, but Carter sees through her shields, and knows it is just a cover. As much as she tries to push him away, over and over, he never gives up, burying himself deeper under her skin, while they both open up who they really are underneath all the trickery.
Carter was definitely a loveable underdog, while Danni takes a little longer to like, but in the end having her in his court and them as a couple is a wonderful thing.
Trick You is a story that hammers home; family is what you make, not what you are born into. I have always loved this concept and with Rebel Ink this new family is a prime example.
Trick You is an interconnected series, where reading Hate You would certainly enhance your reading experience, but it’s not necessary before reading Trick You. Zach and Biff from Hate You are not only best friends of Titch and Danni’s, they are also woven throughout this storyline quite often. I believe if you haven’t read Hate You yet, you will want to. Enjoy!
What happens in Vegas may not always stay there! Debra @janise’s Jivin’ Book Blog
After having read Hate You the first book in the Rebel Ink series, I already loved Dani and Carter! Their story just made me love them more. Especially after reading the whole thing. They are both lovable characters, with charm, loyalty, witt, and above all the ability to love beyond expectation.
A mistake can turn into so much more given a chance. Carter gets his chance but Dani for sure doesn’t make it easy. When things look like they may be looking up we get an unexpected moment that throws a wrench into what could be their happily ever after.
This story has moments that will bring you to tears and a few that make you want to sigh and even a giggle or two may appear. This all equals a story that is well worth reading again and again.
”Thank you,” he whispers. It’s so sincere that it has a ball of emotion clogging my throat and tears burning the back of my eyes. ”W-what for? I’ve not done anything.” ”That’s what you might think. But to me, you’ve done everything. You found me, you came for me, you… accepted me.”
I read Trick You in one sitting, I just couldn’t stop. This story is so intoxicatingly beautiful.
Danni and Carter (Trick) meet on a dating site, and eventually they meet in person. But when Danni sees Carter, he’s not the poshed guy she saw on a photo. It’s a tattooed, wilder version that she meets. She’s not happy one bit about that. Tattooed men aren’t to be trusted with. She storms off.
But faith has other plans, and so they meet again. You see, Danni is Zack’s sister and also a friend of Tabitha. And Zack is Carter’s boss.
Because of a certain something they all go to Vegas. And in the morning Danni and Carter both wake up with the rings on their fingers.
The question is: will what happened in Vegas now stay in Vegas? Or… not?
I loved both of them equally. Danni was so good hearted and determined, but failed every time with saying no. It was so funny to read! And Carter… this guy was epic. Funny, trustworthy, protective and so charming. Their banter was hypnotizing.
And somewhere in the middle of the story the emotions came crashing in. I was spellbound.
Trick You has a double trick meaning. Not only do we get Trick, but you my dear reader will also be tricked. And you won’t even mind
