I hated to trick her…But I knew she would never go for the real me.She was beautiful, smart and funny—everything I could want. And I was… well. Me.Tattooed, foul mouthed, bad boy.I told one little white lie hoping to meet someone different. And I did.Danniella Abbot. She wasn’t who I was expecting, and I guess she could say the same, because Danni made it very clear she wasn’t interested in me … because Danni made it very clear she wasn’t interested in me or my reasons for lying.
The fact that she was my best friend’s little sister only complicated an already impossible situation.
I didn’t intend on tricking her. I just wanted her to give me a chance, to discover who I am underneath the ink.
She can fight me all she likes because we both know that I’m exactly her type. She just doesn’t know it yet.
What happens when you wake up married to the woman you tricked into a date?
You kiss the bride and prove her wrong.
Dear Readers,
Trick You is the second book in my angst-filled, emotional and steamy Rebel Ink series.

This is an adorable story of the mess revolving around an online dating service and misleading photo. Carter wanted Daniella Abbot to give him a chance. But not only was he a tattooed, foul mouthed, bad boy, compared to her classy upbringing, but she was his best friend’s little sister. He just wanted her to get to know the real him and not pre-judge him based on appearances. So he used his banker brother’s picture to “get his foot in the door” and start to open up a conversation with her. But when they meet, she doesn’t care about his excuses for what he did. He hadn’t meant it as a trick, but as a way to let her see him through her own eyes. So now what will the relentless man do to convince her he is perfect for her?
There is so much more that will happen here, but just concentrating on how Carter can fix this situation should be plenty enticement for the reader to dive right in. Grab your copy and enjoy this fun story! The characters will charm you and have you cheering them into a HEA!
**Id happily give this book 4 1/2 stars if i could**
Omg my word Carter is an absolute sweetheart. Ok hes a foul, dirty mouthed one but at the heart of him hes a diamond in the rough. Even with the lie he tells in the beginning that gets him meeting Danni (FMC) its clear from the first chapter that these two are perfect for each other. The banter they both have together is really funny to read. Carter has much more to him than the playful banter though and all of that hides hidden scars. I genuinely loved Danni & Carter so much. I wanted them to get a HEA together from the very beginning. A totally great read and im loving the Rebel Ink series
This book was so so good , I was definitely hook from page one , I loved the story , the characters and everything from this book.
Tracy Lorraine has done it again!!! The Rebel series is getting better by the book and Trick You (which is book #2 in the series) has become my favorite book from her. You may ask why , I can only say “TITCH”.
Titch (Carter) is my new book boyfriend . He is a bad boy with a heart of gold. A tattoo God with so much love to give. Just my heart goes to him completely!!!
When Carter mets this extraordinary woman through online dating Danni, he doesn’t realized that she will become his everything. She would consume his thoughts. Too bad for Titch that Danni doesn’t want to do nothing with him after he lied to her and tricks her making her think he is someone else.
Fate brings these two together to an adventure and what happens in Vegas not always stays there.
Their banter is hilarious, their attraction is explosive and their journey is bumpy. Like the phrase says “two opposite attracts”.
Will Danni give Titch a chance?
Mmmm You have to read this masterpiece and find out!!!
Ps: if you haven’t read Hate You ( book 1 ) I recommend you do because that’s where you first met Titch and Danni and because it’s an awesome book as well.
Just finished the new book in this series. I loved the chemistry between the charaters. The story is well written and easy to read.
The chemistry, sweetness, and twists in plot kept things interesting. Add in drama and passion and you have a good read.

A lie, a lustful bond and a wishful connection. Trick you is soo soo good. What starts as a misunderstanding blossoms into a firestorm of a relationship.
I love Danni and Carter’s story. You need to read Hate you first as the characters story are woven together. This series is awesome.
Carter is tattooed with bad boy qualities. When he meets Danni on a dating app he knows she’s the one. The problem is he wasn’t completely honest. Can the fact he isn’t squeaky clean and a business tycoon work in his favour when it comes to playing for keeps?
The banter between these two is off the chart. It’s funny and full of fire. The tattoo parlour isn’t the centre of the story but the friendships shine through.
If you like strong headed alpha’s who know what they want Trick you is going to be your perfect book fix.
Available on KU. *I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
To say that I liked Trick You is an understatement because I am absolutely loving this series and can’t get enough of it. Hate Me and Trick Me have both kept me up late at nights not wanting to put them down. Tracy’s writing always gives me everything that I want from a great read and this one is no different. Trick Me is Danni and Carter’s (aka Titch) story and their story is so freaking steamy, funny, addicting, and everything else that makes for a great read. The plot of their story drew me in, kept me turning those pages, laughing my butt off, and feeling every emotion between these two. If you love steamy HOT reads with super HOT tattooed bad boys then this Rebel Ink Series is for you. Highly recommend this series!!! Every girl needs a Titch to turn her world upside down!!!!
Happy Reading Everyone!!!
Rate: 5/ 5 stars
Gah, this was my favorite Tracy Lorraine book to date! I legit loved it so much. Carter was a bit of a broken hero who had me falling at his feet since Hate You but I just fell more and more as I got to know him in his own book. He was adorable yet so sexy and he cared so much for Dani. Sigh. I loved that he didn’t give up on her and basically “forced” her to make it work. She honestly got on my nerves in the beginning because she was hurting him with her dismissal and judgment, and it hurt to see that happen knowing his story. But the more time they spent together, the more she saw of him and the amazing person he was, she fell hard and realized he was perfect for her.
I just loved them together. Their story was super fun and exciting but also a tad emotional, which is my kind of jam. I love getting both these sides in a book, for me it makes the perfect story and these two were perfect for me. I enjoyed this book way more than Hate You but I still loved that Zack and Biff were a part of this book a lot. This whole gang is super fun and I just love all the coincidences amonsgt them. And I’m already so excited for the next book, as always we got majors hints. Poor Zack! But also lucky him, his bff’s will forever be family ahah.
Trick You was one of my favorite ‘wake up married in Vegas’ romances I’ve ever read. This couple will steal your heart and you’ll root so hard for Carter to convince his girl they are meant to be.
Carter is a guy who just wants to be loved for who he is and nothing else. He has been made to feel like a he was worthless and would never be good for anyone. He spots someone who he is really attracted to so instead of being honest he makes up a whole backstory. He doesn’t want to be rejected because of his circumstance. Dani is looking for the right guy but does not want to deal with all the lies. She is the sister of one Carter’s friends. Will she see the guy beneath tattoos and smart mouth?

An Honest Heartwarming Storyline that hits home in more ways than one. Uniquely written, heart clenching and tear jerking. Definitely will make you laugh at some points of the story. I’d highly recommend this book.

This book will take you through a gamut of feelings; love, hope, anger, frustration, and sadness
Carter may know how good Danni and he will be together, but it’s an uphill battle to get Danni on the same page. Thank goodness for his best friend’s and Danni’s brother’s surprise wedding in Vegas. Danni fights Carter’s advances at every turn, until too much alcohol makes her spontaneous for the first time in her life ending with a life changing situation. But Carter’s in this for the long haul, but Danni may just be his saving grace after a run-in with his dysfunctional family. I literally read this book in one sitting as I could not put it down. The end of the book sets the stage for the next in the Rebel Ink series, “Defy You” with Spike and Kas. I can’t wait for this one!
I had been anxiously awaiting this story since Hate You and the way this one was set up. It’s amazing and didn’t disappoint. It is a full length novel but the way that it flows, you don’t even notice the pages until you are at the end. I literally could not put it down and had to finish reading. It’s steamy but funny and so entertaining. I loved Titch’s determination and need to prove himself to Danni. I felt for him and his past. I had a hard time with her at first because it seemed she was a little judgy and wasn’t giving him the chance he deserved. I truly enjoyed his chase though.
Editing to add that I just recently listened to the audio book and it’s so much better than just reading the book. Again, I had a hard time at first with the female narrator as it didn’t sound genuine with the character but she quickly gets comfortable. I love that it’s a duet so we get both female and male voices throughout the whole book. Shane East is just amazing! The story flows well and both narrators do a great job of bringing the characters to fly and it’s like listening to a movie the whole time. I cried, I laughed, I got frustrated and then was left with my mouth wide open again at the epilogue.
I love that the author gives us an epilogue of the characters but also sets up the next book. Can’t wait!
I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book.
I really enjoyed this book, it’s the second in the Rebel Ink series but can be read as a standalone story.
Carter and Danni are wonderful together, fire and ice chemistry that just sizzles. I really enjoyed their story, well-written as I’ve come to expect from Tracy Lorraine. Wonderful likable characters.
Oh my goodness! I love this story and the characters.
Titch, love, love, love you!
Emotional! I love to FEEL when I read.
Fantastic characters. The best words to take them on their journey!
This is a must read in my book!
I received an advanced reader copy, and this is my honest and voluntary review.
Carter and Dani – yin and yang!
This story was a very entertaining read!! I laughed and cried for the main characters throughout this book!
Dani is the consummate professional, she plans ahead and sticks exactly to the plan. Her idea of an ideal man is one who is a professional who will understand her hours as well but can also be romantic. She can’t seem to find any man to fill out all of her requirements
Carter is an artist. A tattoo artist to be exact and his body shows off quite a bit of his work. He meets Dani via an online dating app…he is everything Dani thinks she wants except he has not told her on ‘small’ thing. When they meet, Dani is quite surprised.
The world is quite small, Dani’s brother and Carter are friends. They end up spending time together because of some changes Dani’s brother is making in his life.
Since they spend this time together, can Carter convince Dani that the person she messaged online is the same one inside his body? Or will Dani continue to think Carter tricked her?
Yeah he sorta lied, OK, he definitely lied, to the gorgeous woman he’d been talking to on the dating app. But only because he knew if he posted a real pic of himself in all his hot, tatted up glory, she’d take one look at never have talked to him. But now they’re finally meeting in person, and exactly what he was afraid of happens. Danni sees that he’s not the polished suit she thought and takes off. Thank God karma loves Trick and he finds out she’s actually his best friend’s little sis. Or perhaps not so thankfully because if her brother finds out what he really wants to do (has done) to his sis, he’ll kill him!
Well, I identified with this in more ways than one. 1) my brother is one of the most overprotective alpha nut brothers in the history of all brothers when it comes to his baby sister, so I understand Trick and Danni’s aversion to Zach finding out. 2) I had the hugest crush on my brother’s best friend once upon a time. But that’s where my identifying ends because I could not stand Danni. She was a complete judgy snobby bitch. So what if Trick wasn’t some posh suit, he was a serious sweetheart inside where it really counts, and she couldn’t let herself see it because she was too stuck up. Yuck. That being said, the story itself is pretty great, and the chemistry between these two is fire. There may have been almost too much sex, but they had to do something to get past Danni’s bitchy attitude, right? So 3.5 stars, rounded down to 3 for the official rating seems fair.
I received a free ARC copy of this book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is book 2 in the series. It can easily stand alone but you will enjoy it more if you read the first book in the series.
This is about Titch/Carter who gets nicknamed by the heroine, Danni, as Trick because he has been an online friend who sent her a fake pic of his brother and tricked her into liking him. They meet in person for the first time on a date where she leaves him because he lied and tricked her.
They meet again in her bestfriends apartment and they have a one night stand. She kicks him out because of how he lied to her. Then they meet again at a family dinner when he finds out Danni is also his boss and bestfriends little sister.
The two are very connected and have a very much love/hate relationship and well fate has lots of fun things happening to these two. I adored these two together. They have tons of passion and lust for the other and they both are really great people, tats and all.
The story takes place in England and Vegas. The Vegas angle I found kinda weird. Surely England has places that couples run off to to get married, so going to the United States for a fast wedding, seemed like a long trip. Aside from that I adored this story and the couple.
I loved Trick You! Titch and Danni’s story has loads of angst, tons of sass, and heaps of emotion. The storyline and brother’s best friend trope were both on point and I always seem to enjoy Tracy Lorraine’s writing style. If you want a fast paced, entertaining read with some fantastic characters, Trick You is the perfect book to satisfy. 4 Stars!
Titch Carter & Danni have one AMAZING love story. I loved the storyline, especially the way these two amazing people meet. This book will have you in all your feels. Titch’s past was heartbreaking I just wanted to reach through and hug him. The ending was perfect!
I would recommend reading Hate You first as the characters are woven together. Carter is tattooed alpha male with some bad boy qualities. Carter meets Danni on a dating app and he knows that she is the person that he is supposed spend the rest of his life with. There is a small problem and that would be that he wasn’t completely honest when he was filling out his application for the dating app. Can the Carter isn’t squeaky clean and a business tycoon be a good thing. Can Danni look past Carter’s mistake and give him a chance. The banter between these two is off the chart funny. This book bring the word hot to a whole new meaning.
I received an advanced copy in exchange for my review.
