I hated to trick her…But I knew she would never go for the real me.She was beautiful, smart and funny—everything I could want. And I was… well. Me.Tattooed, foul mouthed, bad boy.I told one little white lie hoping to meet someone different. And I did.Danniella Abbot. She wasn’t who I was expecting, and I guess she could say the same, because Danni made it very clear she wasn’t interested in me … because Danni made it very clear she wasn’t interested in me or my reasons for lying.
The fact that she was my best friend’s little sister only complicated an already impossible situation.
I didn’t intend on tricking her. I just wanted her to give me a chance, to discover who I am underneath the ink.
She can fight me all she likes because we both know that I’m exactly her type. She just doesn’t know it yet.
What happens when you wake up married to the woman you tricked into a date?
You kiss the bride and prove her wrong.
Dear Readers,
Trick You is the second book in my angst-filled, emotional and steamy Rebel Ink series.

The great plot was well written and the characters were so well developed that as I turned each page the chemistry between the characters kept me totally hooked until the very last page!
Well written. Nice storyline and plot. Main characters could have had a bit more depth and described more but they develop during the story. Nice chemistry.
Carter is fun, sweet and goes for his girl. I like his nature and how he handles the different situations. But would have liked him to tell the truth from the beginning. But he had his reasons. And he was right because she is very judgemental and judges the book by its cover. She has an attitude towards him but luckily she learns to see behind the tattooes and learn to know the man.
Recommendable story which is enjoyable to read.
Trick You is the 2nd book in the Rebel Ink series and was Danni and Carter’s story. This was a brother best friend, accidental Vegas wedding story that was steamy and emotional. I loved Carter from the start, and loved the family he created with the characters from Rebel Ink. However Danni really annoyed me with her attitude towards Carter. From the start I was put off with the way she behaved towards him and it made it hard for me to connect with her. Yet these two had off-the-charts chemistry and their steamy scenes were hott. This was a story about not judging a book by its cover and finding love where you least expect it.
This is Carter and Danni’s story, they meet on interesting circumstances but nothing was what they thought it would be, so they meet again and their story becomes way more, I enjoyed it it was a refreshing meet plot. The characters are great and I am looking forward to more in the series.
So many humorous scenes but as I read them, I felt a twinge of hope that she would accept his apology because though he wasn’t what she had in mind for her future, the heart doesn’t seem to care. I loved his character. He was perfect for her even if she didn’t want to admit it. Lovely story that hits a home run in the feels department.

I have loved Carter and Danni since the first book of the Rebel INK series by Tracy! Individually they are great friends to their besties, but together they are off the charts!
Carter is everything Danni never wanted, and Danni is everything Carter needs. He knows she is going to challenge him at every turn, and make him work for everything. What starts out as a deceptive on line romance that ends in a firey crash turns into a make him work for it romance.
Carter carries so many demons in his closet that it’s hard to trust that anyone could love him for him. Danni struggles in getting over what is on the outside to fully look to the inside. Not only do they have to fight through these barriers, but they also have to deal with the fact that Danni is Carter’s best friend’s sister. Will they fight for each other? Can they over come their differences? Will the guy get the girl???????? Read this book to find out!!!
Danni Abbot has a clear expectation of what she wants in a man and what kind of job he should have – white collar all the way. On the dating apps she will not look at a guy who doesn’t meet her standards and it looks like she has finally found the right one after messaging back and forth.
Yet one look at him she knows she has been lied to and she wants nothing to do with him.
Can Carter “Titch” Wright prove to Danni there is more to him than the tattoo’s covering his body? Will she give him a chance and get to know the real him or will it be over before it even starts after a trip leads to something very unexpected?
This was such an awesome book and I loved it from start to finish!
I totally understood why Titch was reluctant to let Danni know who he really was before getting to know him on a deeper level due to how she grew up and what he knew that she wanted in a man. I definitely can’t fault him for that but I also knew how much it was going to explode when she found out and I was right!! There was so much chemistry between the two of them but Danni wanted someone different that Titch and he had to prove to her that he was that guy.
The trip was awesome with how it turned out and what happened. I found it ironic at a certain point with how jealous Danni was when Titch was getting a tattoo and how she reacted. She blamed everything on alcohol instead of dealing with how she really felt as she hated that she was attracted to him and may actually like him.
I was so proud of Titch for doing what he had to in order to prove that he was “worthy” and how much he cared and I was happy that Zach gave him an address!!
I understood why Danni hated seeing Titch at the gym and I would have reacted the same for sure!
The events at the charity event were heartbreaking for Titch and I felt so bad for him as he had done nothing and it tore him apart at how he was treated. I can relate to being the odd one out of family stuff and it still hurts no matter how much you pretend it doesn’t.
My heart completely broke when I discovered where Titch went as I knew it wasn’t going to be good but I was grateful and how much it made Danni realize that she truly cared about him.
The end was awesome with Danni’s family and I loved the peek into what is coming next!!
I wish I could give this book 10 stars because believe me when I tell you, this is one you can’t put down. Its starts with swiping right but in reality it’s a no go. Danni is looking for the banker type. Welled dressed, slick hair. a 401, good job, the works. What she gets is a Greek god, tattoos, Jean’s and an artist with a wild side. This baby is smoking Hot. From beginning till the end. You get those snappy comeback, lol moments, in your face attitudes and a boatload of steam. I recommend this one, the next and the two before it. Fall in love with Carter as he reveals all he had to overcome.
I enjoyed this new “Rebel Ink” story. It’s a very captivating and emotional read that definitely delivers. I love the characters in this brother’s best friend romance. Carter and Danni are great characters and I love how their story develops.
“Sometimes the things we need the most aren’t the things we think we want.”
If I could assign a song to accompany Trick You it would be You Can’t Always Get What You Want by The Rolling Stones. This book is a combination of that song and the adage “don’t judge a book by its cover”. Danni Abbot has a very clear picture in her head of the man she wants: banker/business professional, posh, put together bloke. Anybody who doesn’t check her predetermined boxes is instantly written off. She has the habit of doing what we all tend to do, you find a partner type that you think works and you stick to it, even after you’ve had years of heartache and dozens of failed dates.
“She’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. Sass wrapped in a hot little package.”
Danni’s perfect on paper list is ripped to shreds when she meets Carter aka Titch. At first glance he doesn’t fit her ideal man checklist. That is because Titch has a heart of gold and not preset box can contain him. I loved everything about Titch. He is persistent, loving and an all around great guy. Thank goodness for him. He was a great counterbalance to Danni and all the walls she had that made her emotionally closed off to him (at first).
“…as it turns out, he’s exactly what I needed.”
Overall I really enjoyed this story. We get to see the start of their relationship, in that approximately the first third of this book overlaps with Hate You, in timeline. I loved getting much more detailed information as to certain events and that epic twist of an ending in Hate You. I did struggle to connect a little with Danni though. I honestly didn’t care for her until about 60% of the way through the book. Once I got to that part though I loved her! It just took me a while to understand her and where she was coming from. Titch and Danni have some killer chemistry, seriously, they make Zack and Biff seem tame! Also, I have to give a quick shout out to Lauren and Ben from Falling for the Forbidden I loved seeing them in this book. I love this series and can’t recommend it enough!
Second book in series, as good as the first. Carter meets Danni on an online dating sight. He gives her a false picture and she bails. They are thrown together and sparks fly. He has his work cut out for him to gain her trust and prove their love.

To say I like Tracy’s books is highly an understatement! There has not been one book that I have not fell in love with instantly. Everything about her books draws me in. I am totally OBSESSED with her books!! Trick you is just like every single other book by her. I completely LOVE it!
I was excited to see where we would be taken next after reading book 1, Hate You, and I am so glad it was Titch’s and Danni’s story. The entire plot kept you on your toes wondering just what was gonna happen next. There was meaningful messages behind each struggle of the characters. The angst that gives you so many feels in this book.
The characters are perfect! Danni is spunky and full of life. She may think she knows what she wants, but things can change with time. She will surprise you, when you think you know how she is gonna act, it will be the opposite. Then there is Titch….oh how I was not ready for him. He was so much more than I thought he was gonna be. He is strong, determined, and caring. He truly is one of the good guys. The couple together is instant sparks. You can just tell between the back and forth banter that these two are fiery chemistry to the extreme!
This book was so great that I couldn’t put it down. This book also set up perfectly for book 3. I am excited to see the other characters developments through their stories. I can’t wait to read more of the Rebel Ink world.
I could literally go on forever to tell you how much I love this one, but that would waste time of you reading the actual book. So go and read it! you aren’t gonna regret it!
A PAGE TURNER!!
I loved reading this book, as I have previously mentioned I’m a sucker for enemies-to-lovers kind of stories and oh my gosh this is an epic story, to read. I loved how Danni and Titch can be vulnerable with each other and open up about their insecurities. Tracy Lorraine has done it again!!
anni and Titch!!!
This couple are fantastic!
This book is full of humour, emotion, passion and surprises. I honestly smiled for most of this book at their banter and antics, the secondary characters also add so much to this story too. If you haven’t read the first book you need to do that as it gives you a bit more background of what’s been going on but without it this book is still smashing!!
I liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable for the most part. There were things that I disagreed with, but you may not. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. Danni and Carter (Trick) meet like a lot of people do now, on a dating app but things aren’t completely on the up and up as there was some misrepresentation going on. Carter is super sweet and wants to meet someone that doesn’t judge him for his appearance. I’m glad they got their happy ever after. I recommend giving this book a read.

Trick You (Rebel Ink #2) by Tracy Lorraine
5 STARS
Trick you by Tracy Lorraine is the second book in the Rebel Ink series, it is written in dual POV and tells the story of Danny & Carter.
We met Danny & Carter in the pervious book, Hate You. Danny is Zach sister, and Harrison’s sister from Their Vegas Gamble. Carter a.k.a Trick is Zach best friend and tattoo artist, Zach being his boss.
Carter, in my opinion loved Danny from the moment his seen her. He wanted her so bad, and I don’t mean it in the sexual way. He really liked her, but he felt that he isn’t good enough for her, so he tricked her.
I loved Carter so much. He was determined, he was persistent, he was so funny, I loved that constantly fight between them, he was possessive and I love his intensity, the way he loved Danny.
Every woman wishes for that kind of man.
Danny, she was so stubborn. There were moments when I realy wanted to kik her.
I really loved to see Zach & Biff again.
If you are looking for something funny, easy to read, something hot, steamy and beautiful, this book is the one for you.
I highly recommend it.
I’ve read a lot of books written by Tracy Lorraine; she has done a great job at writing another good book; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the chemistry between the characters.

The first book in the series had me craving more so when I found out that there would be second book and it was about Carter I jumped at it. This is a brothers best friend romance. I would read book one first because characters intertwine in each book. You meet Zach’s sister Danni in book one and it ends with her and Carter being married. This book revisits how they originally met. Danni wanted a guy that she could date someone that was a banker a good man that didn’t have to depend on her but she met her date who she started speaking to Carter he wasn’t exactly who he portrayed himself to be. Without a thought she left and never thought she’d see him again until he turned up at her best friends house, needing her help to speak to Zach. They are left alone him trying to apologize for him tricking her with his profile pic.
She has a standard of who she wants to date and it isn’t him but sleeping with him doesn’t matter. Her walls not wanting to be hurt up but she assumes she won’t see him again until they are both are booked to go to Vegas for biff and Zach impromptu wedding. What starts off as a night of drinking lands them being married. I love how carter keeps fighting for something he knows he can feel between them. This book will have you laughing as she fights him on everything and I mean everything. When she gets to know the real man underneath the tattoos and the bad boy persona, she realizes he is the man she’s been looking for honest, caring and respectful. When the perspective of nearly losing him occurs she opens her heart and mind that this is the man for her and I felt every bit of love between these two. I couldn’t put it down, I loved seeing the volnurable side to carter and how much they suited each other when both wall fall. The scenes I must tell you had me fanning myself but tell me what book Tracy rights doesn’t do that to you.
