This book has blown me away! Kozart, the first in this series, was fantastic and Treyton is just as epic. The plot sucked me in and spat me out. I sat here with tears of sadness and joy, my heart swelling with love for this band. The emotions have run riot and I am totally addicted to these people.
Treyton is the drummer for the band, Savage Beasts. He is a cocky man-whore that irritated me to start with but his vulnerability, that only a couple of people see, made me love, love, LOVE him. The band’s relationship is so close, they are each other’s family and it’s hard to worm your way in there; especially if you’ve tried to upset their singer! I’d love to be considered a part of this close-knit group, I feel that, once you’re in, you’re in for life.
This is the second book in the Rock Star series and is Treyton ( the drummer) and Brielle’s (the bands publicist) story. It’s an “opposites attract” romance that can be read as a stand-alone, however I would recommend reading the first book in the series, Kozart first, as it will give you a better understanding of some of the characters and their backstories. I adore J. Nathan’s books and this latest book is no exception. Definitely recommend.
Treyton is the second book in the Savage Beasts rockstar series, and can be read as a stand-alone.
But I’d seriously recommend reading Kozart first, so you get the background about the relationship the band has with Brielle.
Brielle is the publicist of the band. Prim, proper, stiff. The fixer. When someone messes up – she cleanse it. And she cleanse a lot regarding Treyton.
The band members are hesitant about her, due to a fall out you can read about in Kozart’s story.
Treyton would like to get to know her better, as she accompanies the band on a world tour, and he senses that there’s more to Brie than just the stiff girl. During their get to know each other sessions we also get to know Trey a lot better, and oh boy is there a lot to learn about him!!! While reading the book I seriously had times where I wanted to hug him and not let go!!
J Nathan is seriously becoming a go to author for me. I’m in love with her writing and I can’t wait to read more from her, and from this rock band!!!
I kindly received an arc and voluntarily left a review
After reading Kozart last year, which I absolutely LOVED, I couldn’t wait to read the next installment of the Savage Beasts guys. Treyton is a breath of fresh air with its engaging storyline, captivating characters, and J. Nathan’s beautiful style of writing drew me in from the beginning.
I love Brie and Treyton together. I was drawn into their story from beginning to end. They had this undeniable chemistry that had them on a collision course with each other for a long time. And when they did finally collide, it was so incredibly sweet, steamy and sexy but most of all satisfying! I absolutely loved their story. The backstory on these two, especially Treyton was so in depth and heartbreaking, I couldn’t help but love this guy and want him to get his happily ever after.
This series is fast becoming one of my favourite rock band go to stories. J. Nathan is seriously becoming a go to author for me. I’m in love with her writing and I can’t wait to read more from her, and from this rock band!
I received a complimentary ARC – early release copy of this book in Kindle format from the author for review purposes.
This is book 2 in the series and it can stand alone. You should read the first book, Kozart because all the characters are introduced in that book and it was an awesome story but this also can be read as a standalone. Though you might be a little lost as to what Brielle did in that book which is touched upon here.
This is Treyton and Brielle’s story and its mostly a hate to love romance within a band. Brielle runs their PR and she has joined the band on tour in this book and Treyton is the bands drummer. She is kinda a brat in the previous book and so here she has to come back and make up for what she did in this book.
Treyton starts to see who she is underneath and that’s who he finds he likes and so they slowly get to know the other in this story. But Brielle is not in charge. Her dad is and he is a harsh task master.
This was an enjoyable romance. There is no real drugs, sex and rock n roll in this story. The band members are pretty great guys with good hearts. In this story we learn more about Treyton and life he has led. I absolutely loved the story and the heartfelt moments and where the story goes with it.
This is the 2nd book in this fascinating series and is Trey and Brielle’s tale. Treyton is the bad boy drummer in the band and Brielle is their publicist who joins them on tour. These two are total opposites and both have trust issues, but the chemistry between them is undeniable. This is a beautifully written story which had me totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner. I highly recommend for all readers.
I was looking forward to reading Treyton’s story and learning more about him and I loved this whole book. There was lots of background information about the characters and I loved that we got to know them so much better with all this information it helped you understand certain aspects of the story. The characters were amazing and the storyline was fantastic. I was disappointed when it ended, I could have happily continued reading about them. I loved it.
Rockstar romances are some of my favorite reads and as this field is saturated, it can be difficult to find a book that doesn’t fit into a cookie cutter formula. Treyton is a breath of fresh air with its engaging storyline, captivating characters, and a beautiful style of writing that is sure draw you in right from the beginning. This is book that you will want to devour in one sitting and will leave you with a smile on your face as you follow Treyton and Brielle’s somewhat rocky journey towards HEA.
He is a tattooed and pierced, fun-loving rocker and she is a hardworking, trendy suit publicist. Could the two be any different?
Treyton, the drummer of Savage Beasts, is the playboy “screw up” of the band and Brielle, as the band’s publicist, cleans up his messes. I found Treyton’s character to be endearing as he is self-assured, but has a hidden depth to him that not many see given his childhood history. As for Brielle, I wasn’t sure if I was going to like her based off of how her character behaved in Kozart, but she won me over. She comes across as confident and stuck up, but she also has an underlying vulnerability about her. These two are seemingly opposites and yet, they are perhaps more alike than different. There is a push pull between them and they are frequently at odds with each other, but they are also so good together. It was entertaining to see how their relationship evolved from tenuous frenemies to lovers.
This book has the perfect combination of drama, romance, steam, and rock ’n’ roll. The story flows well and it will seem like a quick read because it is impossible to not fall in love with these characters. Treyton is book 2 in this author’s Savage Beasts series and it can be read as a standalone – you will not be lost. However, I do recommend reading Kozart as it is also a phenomenal read and because there is a bit of character overlap. I thoroughly enjoyed this rockstar romance and I am looking forward to more of this author’s books.
She’s the girl who just wants to be loved, and he’s the guy who yearns for a family.
Thrown together through work in and around the music industry are they.
He causes the trouble, and she rides the waves as she cleans up after him.
Will it always be this way?
What a swoontastic read!
You’ve got the hotness known as Kozart or Z floating around in the background who the last book in this series was centred around, and now weeeeellll every girls dream guy takes to the stage.
I couldn’t help but swoon and sigh this was like a true fairytale, beautiful and bursting with a wholesome kind of love.
Treyton might be fiery but for the right reasons. He’s very protective of his heart and those he loves.
Brielle is the girl who was the spitting image of her father. Brash and direct but beneath that cold exterior lies a scared and vulnerable heart.
I loved the back and forth between them, nothing like an explosive couple to get the heart racing!
I can’t wait to see which band member is next into the spotlight because I’m hooked on savage beasts like a screaming school girl would be!
Fantastic !!
This is a very Emotional and addictive Rockstar Romance ,that I enjoyed immensely.
I mean who doesn’t Love a tattooed badboy Drummer,I know I certainly do and Treyton lived up to his badboy Rockstar persona , getting into all sorts of trouble and giving the band Savage Beasts some unfavourable press. Brielle is the hired publicist to clean up these messes, travelling with the band and getting close to them.
Treyton and Brie couldn’t be any more opposite always clashing but behind the bravado, there is an undeniable chemistry between them thats just waiting to explode.
J Nathans writing is just Incredible she sweeps you up into the world of a Rockstar where there is plenty of drama to keep you entertained .Treyton and Brie’s love story is certainly a bumpy ride but it is one you will be glad you took…It satisfied All My Rockstar cravings and I Loved it.
Magnificent
Totally recommended it .
Fan-freaking-tastic!!!! Treyton and Brie’s story was every bit as amazing as Kozart and Aubrey’s. There is so much tension and, seemingly, hate between Brie and Treyton that I was hooked immediately. I loved their chemistry and bickering, the history they have in common. This book made me laugh, cry, sigh with the sweet romantic things he says/does, and then makes me want to throw my tablet across the room in frustration lol. All in all, definitely an unputdownable must read!
This emotional rockstar enemies to lovers is book 2 of this series but can be read alone! Treyton & Brielle they clash but can it be bc maybe they are so much alike they don’t see! This book wow it’s a great Romance with some hot rockstars and def some drama!
Treyton is the second in the Rock Star series. Absolutely loved it. One of the reasons I like this author is that they allow you to get to know the characters and see them falling into a relationship rather than it happening straight away. Have loved this series so far.
It has been a while since I read Kozart by J. Nathan the first book in the Kozart Savage Beasts’ Series but it only took me a few minutes of reading “Treyton” and I was right back in the middle of the story. That alone is an accomplishment that deserves a few stars thrown in because of the number of books I read in between these two.
You can read Treyton as a standalone but as it’s story is connected to Kozart because of the secondary characters – I would always recommend starting at the beginning to get the full entertainment and to not spoiler yourself.
I loved the fire between the leading characters. Trey and Brie had real chemistry and with all the contradictions that were floating around their story was almost explosive and from turning the first page until the very last one I was captured in their world.
For my very and I mean VERY special taste I would have loved a little more light in some areas of the story like Trey’s past – but understanding “artistic/writer’s freedom” – this is really just my personal preference as the story worked fine without that.
There was a moment near the peak of the story where I was wondering about the reasons for certain actions of some of the characters – but again that was only me always questioning tiny details that probably only half of the readers even would notice – if at all ….
Yes I have an OCD with details and timelines – like – with all the times I have been in Belgium – I never heard of someone ordering a pitcher with beer. Pitchers I know from the States and sometimes the UK but the only thing in pitchers around Europe as far as my knowledge goes are cocktails and only in very rare cases. I think in Munich you might get thrown out of any “Kneipe” (pub/bar) where you tried asking for a pitcher of beer … But is this relevant to the story? No so just ignore my rambling hahaha
So if this story was so explosive and I ignored my own OCD – why can I not give 5 stars? A good and valid question – the 5th star is my “pure feelings” – and the only thing that I was missing in this great story was that I personally had no “heartbreak”, “laughing out loud”, “sigh” or “anger” moment – the story was floating perfectly without and “spike” – and while I know many readers prefer their perfect entertainment I crave these moments like air.
But in my world 4 stars is a solid writing with well-developed characters and plot that I can only recommend and I honestly hope there will be more books in this series as I can not wait to hear about the other characters that so far have only been secondary. Until then I will read the 3 remaining books of that author that – as I realized just now – I haven’t read so far.
I was fortunate enough to read Kozart first and I have to say Brielle was not my favorite person. Trey was kind of a dog the way he seemed to use the groupies that came around all the time. In this story you get to read about a different side of Brielle and Trey and it really made for an awesome story, I devoured the pages. If you can try and read Kozart first then Trenton even though they are both standalones you get so much more from them, I can’t wait for a new one.
Brie is tired of rescuing Trey from the situations he gets himself in after each concert when the groupies flock to the side door, hoping for a glimpse of the sexy drummer. She understands this was part of her job, but his arrogant attitude and destructive behavior were wreaking havoc with her life. They are like night and day, oil and water and will never be on the same page.
Trey is tired of Brie judging him for his behavior, because she doesn’t know him at all. She just assumed he was a big partier who spent all his time with his eager and willing fans. The band and the music are his family and the most important part of his life. Trey loses himself in the music each night and the songs tell a story with each note that is sung, and with every beat of his drumsticks. Brie can think what she wants, but he didn’t need a babysitter and he certainly didn’t need her.
But what if they did need each other, but couldn’t admit their feelings?
“If we could take the time
To lay it on the line
I could rest my head
Just knowing you were mine”

Once again, Ms. Nathan has given us another romantic and emotional tale in her Rockstar Romance series, Savage Beasts, which I absolutely love. Her series is special and unique because the band members are not only friends, but they are a family, who are always there for one another. They aren’t afraid to show their emotions and they treat women with respect and gentleness. I was moved by the romance that slowly grew between Trey and Brie, and I laughed and cried along with them on their journey.
J Nathan has done it again! 5 ROCK STARS!!! I thought I loved Kozart, but Treyton just totally stole my heart. This series is rockin’ so far and I am loving it!! So much good stuff in this book!!!! It is such an amazing story about two people, Treyton the rockstar drummer and Brielle his band’s publicist, who appear to be complete opposites and love to hate on each other. Little do they know that deep down they have some very fundamental things in common; things that will ultimately bring them together. I honestly love Brie and Treyton together so much! I was drawn into their story from beginning to end. They have this undeniable chemistry that had them on a collision course with each other for a long time. And let me tell you when they finally do collide, it’s so incredibly sweet, steamy and sexy but most of all satisfying! I loved this book so much! Getting more of Z and Aubrey was great too. I can’t wait for more of the Savage Beasts!!
This book has totally been worth the wait. I have been waiting since devouring the first book in the series, Kozart. This story focuses on Savage Beasts drummer Treyton and the band publicist Brielle.
Brielle has been bailing out Treyton from his mishaps for years. She is on tour with the band for two months, trying to further prove herself to her cold hearted boss father, and escape her life.
The more time that Brie and Trey spend together the more they realize that they have similarities. They also have trust issues, angst and a need for family.
This story is so beautifully written. The subject of babies born drug addicted was so well written and researched.
I love this series and these characters. Can’t wait for the next one. I am volunteering to leave a review for this book .
I started reading this amazing 10 star story and read it in one sitting. It’s that addicting.
Brielle is a ball buster, who cleans up the rock group, Savage Beasts image. Trey is always getting into trouble. She has a thought exterior but in the inside she’s hurting. Little did she know is Trey has his own set of issues. What started as opposites attracts ends up both of them needing each other for the same issues.
This was an highly addicting and captivating story. It had all the feels. I might have shed a few tears here and there. I loved these characters that made me feel for them. Their stories latch itself to my heart and I just wanted to comfort them.
Once I started reading it, I couldn’t seem to be able to put it down. I was mesmerized by this storyline that made my heart sign at the end. I didn’t see it coming and it was perfect for them. Bottomline this is a 2020 must read.
This is the second story in this series. Rest assured it can be read as a standalone. Told in a dual POV with an HEA. I strongly recommend this story.
Wow what a Awesome read! Treyton is the drummer for the Savage Beast and Brielle is there publist. The two are complete opposite him with his jeans and her with her suits. When Brielle decides to travel with the band she begins to think she is there only to keep him out of trouble but finds out at few things about her self. She isn’t happy in the relationship with her boyfriend and decides to break that off.Treyton starts a thing with her that each day they must tell one another something about themself Things begin to heat up with the two of them until she is given a ultimate by her father This is a definite must read lots of feels
