This was a great book! I have looked forward to more books in this series since I finished Kozart! Treyton had me hooked just as much as Kozart! Ms. Nathan is a fantastic writer! I can’t wait for more books from the Savage Beasts Series!
I LOVED IT SO MUCH!!!
Brielle Patrick is the publicist to the Savage beast. She is the one who cleans up all of the rock stars messes when it happens and she is damn good at her job. But she is also a woman who doesn’t have fun and let loose, everything is about business and she becomes a real pain in the ass. But can one certain rock star change all of that for her make her see that there is more to life than being scared all the time?
Treyton Collins is the drummer for Savage Beasts. He is cocky, sexy, and he knows what he wants. But he likes to push buttons for sure especially their publicists who he thinks has a stick where the sun doesn’t shine. But while one tour he sees a different side of her that he never thought could be there. It’s alarming how much it intrigues him and that he wants to know more. Will you be taking the chance?
This amazing story had me laughing, crying and just falling in love with the characters so much more. It was absolutely amazing and I finished it in one sitting.
Sexy drummer and strong willed publicist. Sparks are flying and stubbornness gets in the way. They both have had sad childhood. Love to see the good they end up doing to bring attention to the problem and help the cause.
I really liked this book. I loved the writing of this book, sometimes a book just hits you. This book pulled me in from the beginning. Really enjoyed.
Absolutely loved Trey and Brie! Trey is the drummer and Brie is the band’s publicist. These two are as opposite as can be, but when they get closer they find they are more alike than they care to admit! This book will pull at your heartstrings! This is the first book by this author, but it will not be my last! 5 stars
Great story. Trey and Brie’s story is so beautifully written. The hate to love between them is just amazing
I really like this series and especially this book. Treytons, the sexy bad boy drummer, grew up lacking parental love and affection. Brielle, the ever professional manager putting out the fires caused by Trey and his band also lacking in parental love and affection. Both total opposites come together with a common bond. Slowly a friendship developes between the two, then a relationship. All by telling each other 1 fact the other didnt know every day while touring the world. This book draws you in at page one. It was difficult to put down. I look forward to the next one in this series.
Treyton and Brielle start out having a very tense relationship as she is cleaning up his messes but during the course of a few conversations they open up to each other. They start to fall for each other. This is where the book lost me. I felt absolutely no connection between them after seeing how much they disliked each other at the start. The author did too good of a job creating that dislike that it was hard to see the insta love after a few convos. The storyline was good but the lack of chemistry felt between them made the book fall a bit short for me.
Lordy, who doesn’t love an enemies-to-lovers romance? I know I do—especially when it’s a rock star romance too!!
Treyton is a drummer in the band Savage Beasts. He’s on top of the world professionally. Loves what he does. Loves his fans. But personally, he’s feeling a bit left out as he’s seen his best friend Z fall in love and he’s wondering what he’s missing. But he knows he certainly won’t find that with Brielle and her constant state of RBF whenever she glances his way.
And Brielle’s just touring with the band because it’s her job as their publicist to keep them out of trouble and ensure their PR is clean and clear. Well, at least that’s what she’s telling herself.
But even though Trey and Brielle are combustible like a match to a powder keg, there’s just something between them that they cannot define or deny. And as they really get to know each other, they discover that underneath all that conflict between them there’s a connection, a spark. And it’s about to light that powder keg on fire.
**fans self** Whoa, holy hotness factor here! The snarky banter between Trey and Brielle quickly leads them to some hot AF between the sheet time. They’re perfect for each other—if only they can open up truly trust what they’re feeling. Trust that the other is real and what they’re feeling is too. I couldn’t help but root for Trey and Brielle to get it together and allow love to really bring them together. And the blow up at the end that really seals the deal was epic and awesome.
I love this terrific Savage Beasts series and cannot wait for more from these sexy, smart, amazing rock stars.
OH MY GOSHHHHH!!! TREYTON IS AMAZING!!!! I was stunned after reading the last page. I kept flipping the pages restlessly wishing more would be added and that the book never ends, also knowing that the fun and excitement has just begun. I know it’s such a cliché saying that I was hooked and didn’t want to let go of the book. But yes, it really did and it hit me real hard. My excitement to finish it brought me wide awake till the wee hours of the morning, not realizing that I should be waking up soon (at 5am) to prepare my daughter for school, and myself for work. So yeah, talk about a massive book hangover.
I didn’t like Brielle when I first met her coz she tried to keep Kozart and Aubrey apart. Likewise with Treyton coz he was the typical playboy rock star with groupies hanging all over him. But when I started to know them better in this book, I warmed up to them easily. Well actually, I fell in love with both of them instantly. Treyton was so easy to love. I loved how he was when he was with Brielle. I love his cockiness and over protectiveness. I love his humor and wit. I enjoyed his bantering with Brielle. They were always pushing each other’s buttons, but slowly worming their way into each other’s hearts. When I knew about their pasts, my heart bled and I was easily drawn to their story.
I LOVE the storyline. I love how Treyton and Brielle’s relationship developed from not liking each other to being friends, and eventually to something intimately significant. It was kind of a slow burn for me but no doubt in my mind that the heat was slowly and surely becoming intense. I just love how Jen paced their relationship and the dynamics that go with it. I caught myself several times feeling giddy and can’t contain my elation whenever they flirted with each other. I was eagerly anticipating what would happen next. I was smiling and my heart was beating fast whenever Brielle and Treyton were together. So when they finally became a couple, I wanted to jump and shout ” Yes, finally my wait is over!”
I have always been vocal of my love and admiration for J Nathan’s books. Her characters are relatable and easy to fall head over hills with. Her storylines are amazing especially with this book as it dealt with a social issue that I wasn’t even aware is happening. Thank you so much Jen for opening my mind and heart to such realities. My heart ached for Treyton and all the others like him in this world. How I wish I can say what it is. But I would be spoiling the story for you. You just have to read this amazing book for you to know about it and maybe do something about it.
Thank you so much Jen for giving me the ARC of this incredible book. The connection to this book felt progressive and instantaneous the moment you open it. I love Treyton and Brielle so much!!! I know I’m gonna be thinking about them for quite awhile and marinate those beautiful, lovely moments I really enjoyed. I was really touched and moved by their story. I cried; I laughed; I swooned. I fell in love! Now I can’t wait and I’m super excited to read the next book in this series.
Hands down!!! Hats off!!! Two thumbs up! Enjoy!
Treyton is the drummer for a successful rock band Savage Beasts. The one thing he doesn’t have is someone to share his life with or come home to at the end of the day. Brielle is the band’s publicist but she went over the line and the band hasn’t forgiven her for it. She ends up going on tour with them to make up for her trouble causing ways. Treyton and Brielle end up turning to each other even though they have been enemies. This is a steamy, good read.
There was something about Trey. He was a bad boy with no apologies, but there was something else to him. I wondered if maybe he had no idea at times how he managed to get in trouble. I think he appreciated Brie for having his back, even though he never said so. I loved their similarities and how they could relate to each other. But at the same time, I loved how they could bicker and banter. I love that he would pull her out when she wanted to be included. I swooned when he gave her a final gift…the thing they both wanted most.
My rating: 5-stars.
I loved Ms. Nathan’s Kozart, so I knew I had to read Treyton too. I love this book too. Very enjoyable.
The book started with a bang and snowballed from there. The story flowed really well. I appreciate Ms. Nathan giving readers a deeper look into the life and lifestyle of a rock star. Yeah, Treyton is a rock star but is unfairly stereotyped for it. There’s a lot more to him and why he is the way he is. I have to say that right now Treyton is my favorite book boyfriend. He’s a great character. Brielle is all business or so Treyton thinks. She’s straight-laced and no funny business. That intrigues Treyton. I admire just how strong Brielle is. Both main characters were handed an unfair start in life. But they fought the odds and kicked life’s butt. I’m so happy that Brielle stood up for herself towards the end of the book and didn’t look back. I love how Ms. Nathan turned negativity and sadness into positivity and happiness for these two characters. They definitely deserved it.
Overall Treyton was a very enjoyable read for me. It had all the major points I prefer a romance to have. I highly recommend reading this book.
I don’t know which characters in the Savage Beasts world Ms. Nathan will write next. I will be waiting to read it.
Holy Hot Surprises! Totally Unexpected Read…
Okay, I’m have to be real honest here. I love J. Nathan’s books, but I went into this one, Treyton, with a little bit of hesitation. Why? Well, I really, really, really LOVED Kozart – the first (standalone) book in this series. Aubrey was so strong and Kozart, well, he tugged on my heart strings. So when I started Treyton, I THOUGHT I knew the main characters and I THOUGHT I knew where the story was going. But HOLY, I was completely blown away! Like seriously, I read it in one sitting.
I first met Trey and Brie in Kozart and to be honest, I didn’t really like them that much. So I wondered how J. Nathan was gonna redeem this characters in my eyes. But gosh, through the story we saw such character development that honestly, I went from being interested to seeing what would happen to being totally invested in seeing these guys find their HEA.
This was not your typical rocker read. I also wouldn’t necessarily call it a slow-burn. But J. Nathan took the time to show us who Trey and Brie really are individually and as a couple. And their journey? Well I honestly, totally, could not have predicated what happened. I’m an avid reader who reads over 200 new romance novels a year and this was different and emotional and just so freaking good. Seriously.
Take the chance and read this book, It’s a standalone with an HEA rocker romance. Dual POV. Lots of chemistry and heat with the characters and oh so much emotion. My only warning would be that you won’t want to put it down…oh! And I want more…like maybe an extended epilogue because I so want to see more them!
I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this novel. I am voluntarily and freely providing an honest review.
Ah, but how J. Nathan knows the way to my romance reading heart. Le sigh. Enemies-to-lovers is my romance trope jam, and Nathan has the unique ability to bring all the necessary elements together without overdoing it or skimping on anything. Her writing has always been superbly above par, and I happily and eagerly devour anything she has to offer because she makes the time I spend getting to know her characters and the story they have to tell worth it. Admittedly, I was NOT a fan of Brie’s in the first book, Kozart, not with her machinations to split up Z and Aubrey. However, she’s more than redeemed herself in this second book because her back story gave me a far better understanding of her. Similarly, Trey was a revelation and once I found out what his personal history was, I seriously wanted to give the guy a hug. I loved the way their relationship evolved and how everything played out, especially when it came to the conflict between the two of them because it felt real and honest rather than overly idealistic and simple. There’s a reason why this author is one of my go-tos and I know I made the right decision adding her to that list every time I read whatever her latest book is. Five-plus stars for Treyton. Book three, please!
An opposites attract, rockstar romance. Sexy and intriguing, I found myself not wanting to put this books down. Brielle was a strong character and put up with nothing from the band, I liked that about her and quickly found myself rooting for Treyton to win her over. Can be read as a standalone but I recommend book Kozart to anyone reading this book.
Treyton is book two in the Savage Beasts series. It can be read as a standalone. Treyton is the drummer of Savage Beasts. He’s the trouble maker that always needs to bailed out. There is much more to Treyton then he lets people see though. Brielle is the publicist for Savage Beasts. Her dad is a big music executive but she has had to work hard for everything she’s got. She is all business and rarely lets her hair down. When she goes on an overseas tour with Savage Beasts, we get to see a different side of her. Treyton starts to take a liking to her. They bicker a lot but then they have sweet time were they both let their guards down. There was a time I got a little mad at some of the characters for not believing in each other as much as they should but the ending was perfect. I loved this one.
I’m absolutely blown away by the feelings radiating from every page! I say feeling because each chapter, each moment, each word spoken evokes so much emotion that you can’t help but be drawn into this story!
J. Nathan captured my attention with Kozart but she has captured my heart as a fan with Treyton! The story goes beyond being just about a boy falling for a girl! It’s about two people finding their place in the world, figuring out how to love themselves as well as others! Treyton and Brie’s story is one you don’t want to miss and one that I highly recommend! I love a story that brings on real topics and hashes out the tough stuff! Nothing like a good emotional read to set your world straight!
I have been looking forward to Treyton’s story since reading Kozart. J. Nathan did not disappoint.
Frenemies is what I would call Trey and Brie, they love to piss each other off, but have underlying sexual tension, which eventually explodes.
Trey’s past pulls at your heart strings. It makes you understand why he never put himself out there for a relationship.
Brie’s past is just as heart breaking. All she wanted was to be loved and wanted.
They both have trust issues, not believing they can have a happy ever after.
As their relationship progresses, it blossoms into a beautiful thing. They find in each other the family they have always wanted.
Can’t wait for more from J. Nathan!
These boys…these Savage Beasts…only get better with each book I swear. Treyton is….for lack of a better word…trouble with a capital T. Just keeping him out of it keeps Brielle plenty busy. Brielle is the uptight librarian type with a stiff spine. Treyton lives for giving her trouble. But…is there more to each of these people than meets the eye? Is it possible that Treyton wants something very different but doesn’t have a clue how to go about it? Is it possible that Brielle wants more than just proving to her father that she is worthy…of anything? Treyton and Brielle will collide in a battle of not only wills, but of trust and pain and love. I loved Kozart…I really did…but dang…Treyton took his place in a hot second.
