I felt so bad for Trent. He loses his mom , tries to find his dad and surprise…….he finds relatives he didn’t know he had. While trying to come with gripes on this new development in his life, he meets Delaney. She’s a breath of fresh air and he knows he could easily fall for her. Delaney has had bad luck in her choice of men but something about Trent calls to her. This story gave me all the feels, and a few tears. Will Trent and Delaney be able to salvage their feelings for each other or will he end up back home and lonely. But wait, another development surprises him yet again and now he has to decide to stay where he is or go after the only woman he’s loved!! Don’t miss this one!!! If you love Western Romance, you need this book!!
After his mother’s death bed confession, Trent goes looking for answers about his father. His father has died & he finds three brothers instead along with the love of his life, Delaney, in Clifton. There are ups & downs along the way with Trent’s brothers and Delaney both but an unexpected gift from the father he never knew can make all Trent’s dreams come true. A great story to carry on the men of Clifton!
This is a great Western Romance story written by Susan Fisher Davis. As per her usual she delivers a great story with all kinds of emotions included. You’ll laugh, smile, choke up & maybe tear up. Trent Donovan sets out to discover something of his past & finds himself falling in love & having half brothers he had no idea of. You’re going to need to read this book; it’s one I couldn’t put down
Trent is a man who has been thrown for a loop. His biggest supporter just dropped a major bombshell on him. While dealing with grief, he needs to find answers. I liked that he wasn’t mean or vindictive. He didn’t have an agenda. He just wanted answers and closure.
He certainly wasn’t expecting Lanie. I felt that this book really gave us an amazing insight into Trent as a man. You could read and understand his hopes, fears, motivation and his soul. In ever aspect, he was a good man.
Lanie was an amazing woman. She is kind, caring, helpful and just seems to always be happy and positive. She has a love of her family and wants to help them out and also wants to do right by Jake and his horses. I liked the times that Trent and Lanie were together, not only because it was HOT but also because of the connection between the two of them. Whether it was just talking or flirting, it was fun to read.
Loved this book of a “lost man” who finds his true love, HEA, and a family to boot!
