The last place Evan Vincent expected to be dumped was at his engagement shoot… in a dude ranch in Tennessee. Four years of working for his ex for free and standing in his shadow leave Evan reeling with the sudden freedom. Escaping here and working for the ranch owner for a few months could give Evan a chance to regroup… and rebound. That can’t be a bad idea, can it?Running a dude ranch takes up … takes up all of Josh King’s time and energy. He escaped the place briefly before his dad died and left it to him—along with the memories and the guilt. Even his best friends don’t know the skeletons in his closet. Josh isn’t going to risk his heart when all Evan wants is a good time, doesn’t he?
They don’t know if they’re fighting to turn a rebound into more, or to keep it from becoming more. Both seem equally scary for two men with trembling hands and aching hearts, but there’s no denying that they go together like mac and cheese. And maybe—just maybe—this sudden passion is exactly what they were both missing. Is this the best timing ever, or the worst timing ever?
Tremble is a standalone gay romance novel with a HEA ending and no cliffhanger.

I’ve probably said this more than once about an entry in this series, but this one is now my favorite. I love the setting of the ranch and how Evan ends up working there. I love all the details about the ranch and how Josh is running it. If you loved Mary Calmes’ ranch book, More Than Life I think you’ll love this one too. Both are brought expertly to life by the inimitable Greg Boudreaux. These characters live because E. Davies and Greg Boudreaux are one of the best pairings ever in audiobooks. I am rapidly working my way through all their work together and every one has been a gem.

I’m going to miss the “brothers.”
Greg Boudreaux did another fine job with his performance of this story. I loved Tremble; it might now be tied for my favorite of the series (Trace is the other one). Josh is just so darn sweet and he and Evan make a terrific couple.
I loved how compassionate Josh was with the two young men he hired to work for him and that he was willing to give Adam a second chance when he probably didn’t even deserve it.
This has really been a great series and I enjoyed Tremble very much.
A complimentary copy of this audiobook was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author and/or narrator.
I read this book last year, but just listened in audio
Love this series and this book is just as good as the others. Each book can be read independently but it’s also good to read in order as the brothers are always mentioned.
Evan is from New York on vacation for his engagement when his whole world as he knows it ends.
Josh who is far too busy for a relationship as he has a dude ranch to run feels sorry for Evan and his predicament.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book, josh is someone who has to help people regardless of what they’ve done. It’s a real feel good book. The whole significant brothers series, they are so much fun.

Josh has been the quiet guy in the background up until now. Having his story was just the cherry on top of this wonderful series. Josh’s reaction to conflict was concerning and as the story unravels his past that reaction made so much sense. His determination to remain calm and treat others with kindness and respect blew me away. He saw Evan’s need and rushed to quietly help in every way he could and again with Kev and finally with Adam. He saw in each of them the brokenness of his past. In giving his help saw a way to mend himself with Evan by his side. I loved that he was finally able to tell his significant brothers and instantly gained even more support. Evan has his own broken parts to mend and he doesn’t allow that to get in the way of reaching for Josh. He still acknowledges the work he needs to do on himself but it doesn’t cripple him. I loved his feisty sister and I wish we could have been allowed to see Evan and Josh’s Thanksgiving with Evan’s family.
I am so looking forward to the final book Wintersweet as the brothers pull off the first of the weddings.
Audiobook: Two thumbs up and a huge round of applause for the narrator
This is book is about the last Significant Brother finding his love. Josh owns and runs a dude ranch. Evan comes to the ranch to have his engagement photos taken and ends up breaking up with his New York partner and staying and finding love with Josh. Evan’s sister Gina makes an awesome visit!! Books best read in order as the other brothers play a part in this story and also included an update on their stories too.
The sixth book in the Significant Brothers series, Tremble is finally when Josh finds his happy ever after. All his other best friends have moved on happily with their lives, but Josh is left alone. Until his perfect match unexpectedly falls right in his lap. Evan is on a romantic vacation with his fiancé, but what was supposed to be a fairy tale moment in his life turns into a soap opera drama when his fiancé dumps him in a middle of the engagement photo shoot. Homeless, jobless, and alone, Evan is ready to drown his sorrows in all the alcohol he can drink. The last thing he expects is for the ranch owner to knock on his door to check on him, and then give him a job after Evan pukes all over his shoes. Evan and Josh have a little bit of forbidden romance going on. Josh is Evan’s boss and decides they can’t date because of that. This resolve does not last long, and soon Josh and Evan are swept up with each other while navigating some tricky issues that popped up on the ranch. It was wonderful to see Josh get his happy ending—Josh and Evan were absolutely perfect for each other.
I adore and devour all of E. Davies books. I love the close knit brother hood of strong loving men, who once they decide are ALL in on their new loves. The sex is HOT. These books make the gay boy in me so happy.
