Treasure Island SEAL is book 3 in the Sunset SEALs series by Sharon Hamilton and a great addition to this series!
Ned Silver, active Navy Seal on leave comes to Florida to work with a friend of his deceased father who is a former Navy Seal and treasure hunter. Ned is addicted to adventure and following in his father’s footsteps looking for treasures. What he doesn’t expect is a local underwater model, filmmaker and experienced scuba diver, Madison Montgomery…who reminds him of the mermaid on the pieces of eight he wears around his neck.
Chemistry, instant connection, underwater adventures, lost treasures, steamy, suspense and more are what keeps you turning the pages. Can’t wait for the next book!
Ned and Madison really clicked, from the very beginning of the book. There was kind of a mystical or magical
element to the book. It tied the last to the present and intertwined relationships between a number of people.
This turned out to be a fast paced read full of romance, mystery, intrigue, and action, among other things. A contemporary treasure hunting story.
I really didn’t blame Ned for his reaction toward the end. I was more surprised that Madison’s mother reacted like she did. Considering the information Ned had at that time, I could completely understand this initial reaction.
I wish there had been an epilogue so that we would know what decisions Ned and Madison made about the future. It did feel like the ending was a rushed to the HEA. I would give this book 3.5 stars.

This intriguing storyline has secrets, a death, treasure hunt, suspense and so much more. Ned is a member of SEAL Team 3 out of Coronado. His father died and he helped his mother clean out the house. He decides to help his dad’s friend on his next dive. Madison is a waitress and an experienced scuba diver. She is part of the dive crew and meets Ned. The chemistry between Ned and Madison is explosive. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

The story was intriguing and I can recommend.

A Navy SEAL dealing with his father’s past.
Ned just lost his father, but in a way, Ned never really had his father. So when his mom convinces him to go visit Noonan, his father’s best friend, he finally agrees to it. Madison has called Noonan her “Dad” for years now because he’s a friend of her mothers. When Madison meets Ned, she doesn’t think he’s her type because he’s her age and she’s always had a thing for “silver foxes” and she pushes him away. But Ned falls for her right from the start. The question is whether the past or the present will destroy them first.
This is the third book in the Sunset SEALs series and it can be read in order or as a standalone.
I received a free copy of this book via the Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I have read books 1 and 2 in this series, and I have to confess, this one is my favorite.
Navy SEAL Ned Silver is back in California spending time with his mother after his father died. A man that Ned felt never really was proud of all Ned had accomplished. While his mother saw none of his faults, Ned saw them all. The one thing that his dad gave him was a mermaid pendant. A pendant that fascinated Ned and one whose story he would come to learn.
Madison is a strong woman, a waitress and a scuba diver who occasionally does dives for a former friend of Ned’s father. When Ned is lured to help that friend in Florida on a treasure hunt , he gets to meet this captivating woman.
Little did either know that the past and the present would meet and that those six degrees of separation were going to be very real.
What I enjoyed mostly in the story was Ned. This was a quiet , strong and tender man who was not out to have just a good time. His feelings for Madison were more than just sex. Will he get the girl in the end? And what about the treasure they might have found? Will they encounter any dangerous people?
All in all, an engaging story that wasn’t rushed with interesting characters whom you’ll get to cheer.
I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
The third book in the Sunset SEALs series a well written story with a very good storyline. I enjoyed reading Navy SEAL Ned Silver and Madison Montgomery’s story and the secrets about a necklace that will lead a Pirate SEAL to Rescue his Mermaid. I want to read the next book. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I haven’t read a book by Sharon Hamilton in…too long!! She wrote well with a great storyline, mostly. It was good to read a SEAL book again. Especially for it to involve modern day pirates as well! I can’t say that I liked Madison or her mother though. I’m totally not understanding why it’s okay to sleep with a married man. It was written as acceptable, and it is not. Also, the ending was so unrealistic in my world. I took a star off for those reasons. I will try another book of hers, hoping this was a one off.
*I received an ARC of this book and this is my voluntary review.
This is the third book in this series and I think it is the best! Two people living in opposite sides of the country have a shared history that neither one knows about. Ned’s father died which has Ned flying to Florida to meet up with his old Navy friend and do some diving for him. Maddy is Ned’s dive partner and the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. Looks like these two will fall in love and have an HEA until the dive goes wrong. Yikes! Love this author and I am never disappointed in her stories.
Ned Silver is coming off a Seal mission and decides to visit an old friend of his father and assist in a treasure hunt in the Gulf of Mexico. He meets the lovely Madison, another of the treasure hunting divers. He soon discovers the draw of the Gulf Coast of Florida. Ned find treasure, some personal history, pirates and even the charms of a lovely mermaid who lives on the land but frolics in the water. Not your normal Seal story, but a fun read that would be great for the beach! Loved it!
Ned is home from his last deployment for his father’s funeral. He goes to Florida’s Gulf Coast to meet a Navy buddy of his father, Noonan. Madison is tending a bar in this little out of the way bar when Ned comes in. There is a relationship history between their parents that they know nothing about. So, that will lead to a little chunk of drama. They go on a treasure dive with Noonan, find some booty and the other diver shoots off his mouth about what they found. Lots of drama going to happen here. As usual, Sharon has a couple, few storylines going on that will eventually overlap. It will grab your attention from the beginning and keep you guessing til the end. Well written and a very good read!

I love romance stories with SEALs as the heroes and Ned is a really good hero. He’s sweet, sexy, loyal, and dealing with issues. I didn’t really like Madison for a large part of the story. She was better toward the end but not one of my favorite characters. The author did a good job of describing the dives and I could almost see the sites that the dive crew saw. There is a lot of heat in this book, too.
I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest opinion.
Navy SEAL Ned Silver is between deployments and home to help his mother after the recent death of his father. In addition, he and his mother need to find a memory care facility for his aunt. Madison Montgomery has been tending bar at the Salty Dog when an old friend tells her they will be diving for an artifact for a private individual. She has done some underwater modeling and is looking forward to the project when she meets Ned. Their attraction is strong, but Ned will be returning to Coronado and Madison’s life is in Florida. Not fully understanding the complex situation between their two families, Ned and Madison begin a love affair that may be doomed. When danger stalks their dive, will Ned and the police arrive in time to save Madison and her mother? I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation from the author. I just love Ms. Hamilton’s SEALs. They are always easy to relate to and so yummy to read about. At the start of the book, the reader feels badly for Ned as he just lost his father, whom he didn’t necessarily get along with, and he has to help his mom go through his father’s belongings. In going through things, Ned winds up with a piece of eight necklace that his dad always wore that has a mermaid on it and a small book of poetry that shows signs of being read a lot. Inside the book, Ned finds an old photo of his dad with some friends and a poem about a lady that his dad seemed to really care about, but who wasn’t Ned’s mother. Soon Ned gets a phone call from his dad’s best friend in Florida inviting him to come down and stay a few days and go on a treasure dive like his dad used to do. Noonan figures that with Ned’s SEAL training that he will be a good addition to the dive team.
In Florida, there is Madison who is a waitress and sometimes diver. Madison’s mom is the on again/off again girlfriend of Noonan and Madison finds out from Noonan that someone special to her mom has recently passed. Noonan eventually asks Madison to take part in the upcoming dive. When Ned and Madison meet they soon become involved with each other, but you will have to read to see if their new relationship can hold out against secrets, pirates and discoveries. Climb aboard for a great adventure and you won’t be disappointed.

Treasure Island SEAL – Pirate SEAL Rescues his Mermaid [Sunset SEALs Book 3] was a fantastic read & what’s not to love about a Navy SEAL! Ned Silver goes to Florida to meet a friend of his father’s while he is between deployments. His dad’s friend is an old Navy diver but is a treasure hunter now & Ned joins him on his next excursion where he also meets Madison who he quickly becomes enraptured by her, he calls her his mermaid. She joins the dive team, she is a fun, witty, smart, beautiful, experienced scuba diver. This is a great romance, their chemistry is off the charts! Ned is all male & doesn’t back down from what he wants & he wants his mermaid. A second part of this story is the lure of treasure hunting which captures the reader & takes you right along into the depths of the sea. It’s so well written that it does not leave the reader behind, you understand the process as they explore the wreck. It’s a fantastic read from the fabulous Sharon Hamilton. I loved Ned & Madison’s story I didn’t put the book down until I finished it!
