A funny mystery series with a touch of history and romance about a witty sleuth stranded in a traveling town… burger with a side of murder…
On Thanksgiving weekend, linguist Ella Barton becomes stranded in a small town—a town not on any map.
Keystone Village is a blast from the past, full of vintage cars and buildings that look like they haven’t changed since the 1950s. And neither have the residents.
In books one through three of this funny series, Ella encounters bodies and bad guys. With the help of a handsome inventor, two mischievous older ladies, and a squirrel with a strange sense of fashion, Ella relies on her spunk, wit, and a lot of coffee to solve their murders before someone she loves is next.
Can Ella hunt down the bad guy before it’s too late? And will she ever make it home again?
A fun, quirky mystery series perfect for fans of Jana Deleon, Janet Evanovich, and Chelsea Field.

A town that has no roots, but is travelling in time and space, jumping from one location and time to another, so the inhabitants never know, where/when they will be. Occasionally a person from the outside will get stranded in the town and join the inhabitants. But, like any other town, there is the occasional suspect death and someone has to find out who had done it.
This collection of stories is about the hobby sleuths of the travelling town, trying to help the police chief to solve the murders.
An entertaining mix of stories in an unusual setting, but in the typical cozy mystery style.

Ella crashes into a snow bank and ends up trapped in a traveling town in this enjoyable series. The mysteries in this collection are solid, however, the characters lead us into some hilarious situations. I recommend the entire series.

Not What I Was Expecting… In a Good Way!
I am not quite sure what I was expecting with this cozy mystery box set, but the author certainly over delivered! You immediately feel for Ella as she is stranded outside of a small town that actually has a sign that says, essentially, “If you’re a visitor, turn around.” She even has a hard time getting a room in a not-very-full inn. The conversations that she has, especially as she settles into this world, are pretty darned funny. While cozy mysteries often have elements of humor, they’re not usually this laugh out loud funny. But, yes, there are still mysteries in these books, a fair amount of suspense, and even a little romance. The concept of the entire town time-traveling, too, is an unusual, and I have to say, a most excellent one. This is my first exposure to this author and the series, but I am sure it will not be the last. If you love a good, quirky cozy, snap up this set and immerse yourself in this most intriguing world.
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
I loved all three books, and will be reading more from this series. Ella breaks down, and heads for the nearest town, which isn’t on the map. Upon arriving she can’t believe what she sees, everything in town looks like its from the 50’s. Each story contains a murder that has to be solved. The most important detail, that I have never read before, is the whole town, everything, time travels. Interesting concept. I laughed so much and enjoyed each and every book, but I have to say “The Christmas Corpse” was my favorite.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first book in this series and was so excited to see the box set. An unique concept for a cozy mystery in that the town actually travels in time and place. The inhabitants never know how long they will remain in one place. From time to time new people become stranded in the town when they are passing through and the town jumps while they are still there. There are also the occasional mysteries to solve and plenty of people willing to help investigate. I am anxiously awaiting the next books in the series.
