Is my life trash?
I mean, I guess you could say that. I’ve been in garbage relationships time and time again. Something is missing in my life and the situation most definitely does not smell like roses. To top it off, I haul sanitation day in and day out. I’m what you’d call a garbage woman, but I think it’s nicer to say I’m a waste management professional, sanitation engineer, or my all time … all time favorite: Trash Queen.
Though my job technically stinks, it led me to the most gorgeous specimen I had ever seen in my life.
Khiry Lexington was a mystery. He was a smooth talker with a genuine smile and what appeared to be a heart of gold. So, why was he single? What was he doing in Sunray Sunny, California?
And then there’s Dean White. The sexy date I snagged on Solo No Mo. I thought he was going to be just a rebound, but he may be a real one.
After spending the last seven years looking for something I thought was lost forever, I finally was given hope again that the relationship I craved wasn’t hidden in the dumps.
They say another man’s trash is another man’s treasure . . .
I don’t know who they are, but I hope they’re right.
The “Girl Power Collection” is a celebration of feminism in an unprecedented manner and will serve as an inspiration for millions of readers across the globe.
Over the years, men that have made landmark achievements in different facets of life have often been celebrated with very little stories about bad ass women that have excelled in their respective positions. While there are some works that highlight the fantastic achievements of women in powerful positions, there is no particular project exclusively dedicated to celebrating the “girl power.”
The compilation contains short stories with the theme of Girl Power in whichever way the author defines it for herself and her readers. The 33 romance stories are narrated in a diverse yet entertaining and inspiring way and will be released in regular intervals throughout 2020.

Maxim has women empowerment in buckets throughout this story and I loved every single second. There’s a down to earth relatability storyline that follows through from beginning until the last words are written. Dean is a rather interesting man and I’m hoping to see him stick around. Khiry’s motives we’re questionable for a bit but as the story continued on he began to win me over. I loved how we get a bit of light mystery mixed in too, you’re mind is absorbing these characters and learning about them while you’re also thinking about who else will be coming to be introduced. I cannot wait to see what this novella develops into in the future, I undoubtedly need more.
Warning: Cliffhanger! (I like to know these things going in and since I did, it didn’t make me mad lol)
This story is a really funny and unconventional romantic comedy. I love that this series of books focuses on women doing professions that are usually male dominated and more than that, I love that Ole decides to go with a profession I have NEVER seen in a romance novel. Maxim is a garbage collector. She is fierce and feisty. She is strong willed and outspoken and I loved her character and the personality Cole brought to her. I can’t wait to see what Cole does with the rest of this story when she turns it into a full novel later this year.
The good character and storyline development kept me totally engaged throughout the entire book! I look forward to reading more from this author!
S.Cole is a new author for me so I was going in blind with her writing style. I enjoyed the high energy of this story from the start but honestly there was so much going on I felt like I just need more context. I saw where this story was compared to the Stephanie Plum books and feel that’s a very good comparison. I throughly enjoyed Mixam’s character. She was strong, stood her ground and spoke her mind. I’m really looking forward to more of her story to see where all the suspense was leading up to throughout this book.
Warning: Cliffhanger! (Just in case you are also an impatient person like myself who wants instant gratification!)
This isn’t your typical romantic comedy. First of all our heroine, Maxim, is a garbage collector. Not the profession you are used to seeing in these types of books. But that’s precisely why I liked it! Maxim is a strong woman who makes no apologies for her lifestyle. She knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to go after it (Especially those loaded fries with ranch that I can almost taste right now! LOL)
I’m interested to see where this is headed when the author completes this novella and turns it into a full novel later this year.
I enjoyed Maxim and her character. There is mystery involved here that had me on the edge waiting to see what would happen next. What I wasn’t expecting was for this not to have the ending in this book and we have to wait for another story to continue.

Great way to hook you for the rest of the story! I loved it and I can’t wait for more!
