18+ for language and sexual situations… Andrew “Wasp” Marshall, VP of the Dead Presidents MC, rides life like it’s his bike, at full speed with no real destination. But when he sets his sights on an irresistible new bartender with a comical little kid, Wasp will have to decide if he’s willing to give up his carefree lifestyle and buckle down to become the man she needs. Carly Cooper is a … Cooper is a survivor. When an old friend turns from protective to possessive she packs up her five-year-old son and flees to Seattle, leaving everything and everyone she knows behind. Carly has neither time nor energy for Wasp’s advances, despite his panty-dropping smile and made-for-sin body.
As things between Wasp and Carly heat up, Carly’s past catches up to her and she must decide whether to trust Wasp and the Dead Presidents, or to pack up and run again.

This story was beautifully written and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. Love Wasp and Carly, especially Trent, that little boy is hilarious, I’m giving it 5 stars!
Not your typical MC- this is a Veteran MC, still has violence, girls, etc- with a no drug policy. And they are great about helping out the community.
This book follows Carly as she finds herself on the tun after her 2 best friends are killed- settles down hundreds of miles away- still paranoid of being found- works 2 jobs, and is a single mom and struggling to make ends meet. The last thing on her mind is a relationship- especially at the risk of her friend’s killer finding her and her son. In walks Wasp who is very persistent about wanting to spend time with her ( not just interested- for once- with getting laid- he wants in on Carly’s life.
4 1/2 Stars! Book three in the Dead Presidents MC series. Can be read and enjoyed as stand-alone. Novella length told in dual POV with HEA. The Dead Presidents are a motorcycle club where all members are military vets. Each book is about a different member and secondary characters are the same throughout the series. I liked that this MC wasn’t into anything illegal and there was no club whore drama. Wasp is the VP and is always making jokes he doesn’t seem to take anything too seriously. Single mom Carly has had a hard life, she is working two jobs and running from her past. Carly has no time for Wasp’s advances. I loved Carly’s son Trent he was written well and stole the scenes he was in. A reluctant friendship has Wasp totally patient and committed. The best in the series so far!!
The female protagonist is a single mother. Her son, Trent is adorable. I loved his character. The male protagonist was gonna give up on her bc she denied him at every turn. It’s A slow burn if she wasn’t stubborn it would have been the male protagonist is EVERYTHING. He is patient and sweet. And he killed for her & her son.

Shorter, but easy read. Not much about the MC. Very likable characters.
Well written. Great well rounded characters. Believable.
A funny, sweet story. A new take on MC club story for me. But I loved it.
Wasp is intrigued by new waitress Carly from the start, but she is completely locked down. Carly is on the run and she doesn’t want anyone close to her. She keeps her head down, works and raises her son. Will Wasp be able to break through her walls or will her past catch up to them and cause her to run again? This story is my favorite so far. I really enjoyed the way Wasp treated her and her child, he was sweet for a bada** former Navy biker.
Enjoyed this story. Trent was a hoot. He could come up with some of the darndest things. Trent and his mother were running from a threat and Wasp was determined to be their champion. 1st in this series I have read really liked it. Love the military aspect of this.
A fun, entertaining, a little suspenseful, but overall beautiful journey to go on with Wasp and Carly. It was fun to watch Wasp chase after a woman, and amazing to see that he had a loving, caring, and protective side to him. He’s such a fun loving, humorous guy it was nice to see him serious about something, especially a beautiful woman like Carly and her son Trent. I thoroughly enjoyed this story.
Love this series, I can’t seem to stop reading! Wasp and Carly story was no different. Wasp is such a perfect match for her, she’s closed off and has some serious trust issues. He shows her there are good ppl she can trust, who she can rely on. Another amazing story in this series!
Perfect blend of danger, suspense and arousing heat made for a great read. I loved Wasp and Carly’s story. The dual point of views and plotline were amazing.
WASP AND CARLY AND TRENT….THE PLAYER TAKES A FAMILY!!!
Andrew “Wasp” Marshall, VP of the Dead Presidents MC, and resident player, has women falling at his feet, but he only wants Carly Cooper, the new bartender at the club’s bar, the Copper Penny….Carly has heard all of the rumors, and she wants nothing to do with the player….But Wasp never gives up, and while performing one of the community services at the local pre-school, with his “brothers”, Wasp discovers his best little buddy, Trent, is Carly’s son, and with just a crack in her armor, he bulldozes his way into Carly’s and Trent’s lives and their hearts…
This is one of the more humorous books…Wasp has THE BEST sense of humor, and with Trent as his comedy partner, Carly finds someone who can not only help her with the trouble following her, but can be a father to Trent and a husband to her……I loved this book…
This is my favorite book of the series and Wasp is my favorite character, by far. He is a riot. He definitely brings a bit of a lighter side out of Carly. The guy who has no interest in relationships not only finds a woman, he finds a child to connect with. Wasp is sweet without planning to be and shows us a man we haven’t seen in the previous two books. And dealing with Carly’s past adds even more depth.
This might be my favorite book in the series. WASP never does repeats. He doesn’t like clingers and has no plans to change. That’s fine because Carly won’t give him a second glance–at least not when he’s looking. She’s lost too much and has too much to fear. Her son, Trent, is the only one she allows in her heart.
WASP doesn’t know if it is the challenge or the woman but he’s not giving up. An anti-bullying program the MC has started in Trent’s school opens another door. Besides, the kid is a kick and they become great buds.
This is a touching story with unforgettable and hot strong characters. Watching WASP work his way into Carly’s and Trent’s lives, earn her trust makes for the best kind of read. Things are starting to come together for the three when her past revisits with the danger and threats.
Will WASP and the club be able to step in and remove the threat or will they be too late?
Do yourself a favor and don’t miss this one–actually, don’t miss the entire series.
This series makes me happy! The relationships are instant but at the same time not, and there’s so much heart (and heat!!). Wasp & Carly are sweet & fun, and Trent is hilarious & cute!! Once again looking forward to the next installment.
I still am loving this series! Wasp and Carly’s book has a slightly different tone than the first two in this series, but does not diminish my love for this series.
Carly is a single mom, working two jobs and doing her best to make ends meet while raising her son. Trent is an absolutely adorable little boy who will steal your heart. Andrew/Wasp is VP of the Dead Presidents MC, was a mechanic in the Navy and never was in any combat unlike the majority of the Dead Presidents. But don’t go thinking he isn’t tough. He WILL fight for those he loves and danger is coming after Carly.
I think because of young Trent, the relationship that develops between Wasp and Carly, moves a bit slower than the previous books. That said, this book will not bore you in the least. It will hold your attention from beginning to end. I’m eagerly awaiting Harley Quinn’s next book in this series. The Dead Presidents has quickly become one of my favorites.
I love this series and have been wanting more and Harley Stone did not disappoint. In this book we follow Wasp and Carly’s story. Carly is a single mom of Trent, a precocious five year old who loves to say what’s on his mind. They are running from a “bad man” and then in steps Wasp. Wasp has been trying to get Carly to give him her number for months and when he meets Trent he is in love with this little family and he will do anything to protect them. I loved this story and Trent just cracked me up. Great story with a twist, can’t wait to read more of the Dead President’s MC.
4.5 Stars of awesome!
I have loved the Dead Presidents MC series from the first book, and I can say that I continue to be hooked on them. Wasp and Carly are an amazing couple and her son Trent is the best. He clearly enjoys being with Wasp and the way that Wasp is with him infuriates, but also impresses Carly. But having someone in her life right now should not happen. But fate has other plans.
Wasp didn’t become the VP by being complacent and accepting what he sees at first glance. He knows that there is more to Carly and her son than what he can see, even if he enjoys what is in front of him. He definitely gives it the full go to earn her and her son’s trust. And once he finds out what he is battling against, he is all in to protect what he considers his.
These two characters start off as oil and water. Carly is definitely not a push over and holds her own very well, but Wasp doesn’t give up. And when Carly finally lowers the shields and lets him, it is explosive! They definitely complement each other well. The situations within the storyline are sad, but bring suspense and chills.
Overall, I was very happy with Trapping Wasp. It has everything that I have come to expect from this author, and more. The characters are always wonderful to read about the the writing pulls me right in and along with the characters. This is definitely another recommended read from me.
Let’s start off by saying that this was a new author for us and we really enjoyed our first read by them.
I really enjoyed the story and its characters and I have to say what I loved most about the story is that the characters had me laughing through the entire story. For me this was a pretty tame MC romance read that mostly concentrated on the love story added with a bit of mystery.I loved what the club stood for and how they supported ex soldiers.
I really enjoyed all the characters but, Trent brought me tons of smiles throughout the entire story and I loved that he was a lot of fun and witty.I also loved that he was such a handful and that just made him more love-able as you never new what would be coming out of his mouth next.
Favorite character for me was Wasp he made me laugh and I loved how he was patient ,kind caring protective and willing to step out of his comfort zone for once to try and win the girl who stole his heart. I love that no matter what from the very beginning he treated Carly and Trent as a package deal and that he loved every minute falling in love with both of them.I also loved that Wasp actually let us get to know the real him and what was beneath that armor of the dark and dangerous playboy.
I loved Carly as well as she was easy to love right from the start. Both Carly and Trent suffered from incredible losses but , somehow she found the determination to go on and create a life for herself and her child while always looking over her shoulder for the next tragedy to happen hoping it wasn’t her own family.
I am looking forward to getting caught up on this series and getting to know more about the other characters and their old ladies.
We loved it !
Recommend read to all! 5 stars
