This is not like any other MC series I’ve read, the author puts her own unique twist on the men of the MC. This book was a total page turner with very relatable characters. Wasp, being the VP of the Dead Presidents MC, had his pick of eligible single women but he set his sights on Carly. Carly is a single mother tending bar just to survive and keep a roof over her and her preschoolers head. Wasp eventually wears Carly down and she goes on a date with him and then he his hooked, especially when he meets her son. Trent is a special boy who takes everything anybody says very literally. But Carly is running, and running hard from her past. Eventually her past catches up with her and she has to make a decision- flee with Trent and start over or entrust Wasp protect her and her son.
Carly & Wasp …the odds may be stacked against them but sometimes you need to find the strength to overcome hurt and heartache !
We may certainly have a swoon worthy man on our hands with Wasp. He has certainly never been a man to be held down by one woman but the moment he lays eyes on Carly a switch is flipped for him. He is a member of the Dead Presidents MC , a self made man and mechanic by trade. He has never had trouble getting a woman to warm his bed but Carly has found a way to deter his advances at each turn . It has been three months that his advances and charm and been denied but he is wearing the poor girl down!
Carly she has survived so much tragedy , growing up in foster care, drug addicted foster parents, living from couch to couch . She has learned to provide not only for herself but for her 5 year old son. She doesn’t have time for a relationship no matter how sweet, sexy and protective he is. She soon realizes that being on the run doesn’t mean that your past won’t find you and then you may need to take the help offered !
What a great ride with Wasp, Carly and cute little Trent!!

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
Carly is hiding with her son and has to work two jobs to barely make ends meet. Wasp meets her at the bar where she works where she shoots him down over and over again. Just when he is about to give up her son gives him a way to hang around and what follows is a remarkably sweet romance. I enjoy seeing the big bad bikers as teddy bears at heart when it comes to their family. Great character development and a nice romance that I really enjoyed so I give it 4/5 stars.
Loved this book so much! It’s my favorite of this series.
Carly had a hard life and being a single mom with 2 jobs and running from a “bad man”
Wasp wanted Carly but had to gain her trust first.
Loved the relationship between Wasp and Trent.
With lots of humor, sweetness and swoon worthy moments, this book is awesome.
Can’t wait for more of this series.
This series just keeps getting better and better with each book and since it started off amazing so that is saying something. This is not your typical MC romance, there is a depth to the story that just makes your heart flutter. Andrew “Wasp” Marshall has found his place in the world, he is a navy vet mechanic who wants to give back. Carley Cooper is a single mother who is just trying to makes ends meet and raise her son (who steals the show with each appearance). Carly must learn to trust again and Wasp is there to help her heal and learn to love again. This book is emotional in the best way, it will make you feel all the angst and joy in each page. Wasp and Carly must work for their happily ever after but that makes the story that much better. If the romance does not suck you in there is an added mystery that will keep you turning each page. Add in off the charts steamy chemistry, getting to catch up with the amazing characters from the other book and you have a 5 star third book in the series.
I absolutely loved the latest installment to the Dead Presidents MC series!!! This is the story of Wasp and Carly. He is the VP of the Dead Presidents MC. He is a love and leave them type of guy…until he meets Carly. She hasn’t had the easiest life but has done the best she could for her and her son Trent. She works at the bar that the club owns that is how she meets Wasp. He sits at the bar waiting for Carly to give him the time of day….she plays it off. Her life is her son and she doesn’t have time for a relationship. Eventually she gives into the feelings that Wasp stirs in her but her past comes back to haunt her and her fear has her wanting to run. Can Wasp show Carly that he can be the man she needs and protect her and Trent from harm. This book was amazing….Wasp and Carly were perfect for each other. The person who stole the show however was Trent….wow he made me laugh so hard with his antics!!! This is a phenomenal story full of laughter, love, sweet moments and hot sexy times. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series and I highly recommend this book to everyone. Another fantastic story by this talented author….well done!!!!
Carly Cooper seems to be pulled in too many directions. Andrew “Wasp” Marshall wants something or is it someone he shouldn’t. The club he belongs to actually does some good in the community. This group shows the better side of an MC. I think some of you will be impressed with that.
Our author shows us how strong Carly is as a mother. She will do anything for her son. But it’s sad that for all her hard work, it only covers the basic necessities. This is just one thing that makes this story so realistic. It’s just one thing that I loved about this author – her story seemed so plausible. She creates some self-doubt for Carly that will make your heart bleed. Those who may have been in a similar situation will understand what she has to deal with.
Her son is your typical little boy, so expect him to steal plenty of scenes. And he’ll give you plenty of laughs. That alone would probably catch your attention but the author has created a temptation on two legs and his name is Wasp. The author takes her time to build a relationship between our main characters so they can get to know each other. Don’t expect a “wham, bam, thank you ma’am”. Her taking the time to really develop the story is what got me hooked. And having an ending that put a smile on my face didn’t hurt either. I got so involved that I got the book read all in one day.
This story could be read as a standalone but then I got interested in the secondary characters. I found that I had to know more about them. And what do you do when you want to know more? You go and read their stories and I already have my next book picked out. Knowing that there’s another book in the series getting ready to coming out has my next book after that already picked out.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
You know that feeling when you pick up a new book and within minutes you just know it’s going to a be a favorite? That’s what Trapping Wasp was for me. I knew within the first few minutes I was going to be in book heaven! Adorable sweetness, some serious swoon, fantastic humor, all along with a bit of mystery to really pull you in. Trapping Wasp has it all!
Wasp is probably going to forever remain my favorite in this series. His manwhore ways are a thing of the past the moment he sees Carly. His determination to win her over with both humor and sweetness kept me grinning while his protectiveness and sexiness had me swooning. The man is lethal to panties everywhere! All of that only gets better with the heartwarming moments of Wasp and Carly’s son.
Carly’s son Trent was an adorable little mini Wasp who had me cracking up more than anyone else. The things he would say and do had me dying from laughter! While Wasp and Trent were the two boys who stole my heart, Carly herself was what took this book to the next level. At times I may have found her walls as frustrating as Wasp did, but as the mystery of her past begins to unravel I came to learn she’s even stronger than I originally thought. Her drive to protect her son knew know bounds, mama bear is an understatement with Carly and the love she has for her child. I couldn’t help but cheer her on to finally get the happiness she deserved.
Carly and Wasp show what you think you want and deserve and what you actually want and deserve may be at odds but there’s most definitely a reason to fate’s fickle plans. The hits just seem to keep on coming for Carly which is why she finds herself picking up stakes from Seattle and leaving everything she and Trent know behind. The very last thing she had the patience to deal with is a biker with a over inflated ego to start thinking of her as her next conquest. Wasp found his place when he found the Dead Presidents. His brothers, biker, and the occasional companion is all he needs to keep him content. That was until he caught a glimpse of Carly slinging drinks and was instantly captivated. She bewitches him and not only that he is compelled to become apart of her and everything she is. She running from something but he won’t let her run from this.
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book
This is the third book in this phenomenal series, and I can say in all honesty, it is my favourite! Carly is a feisty and independent, single mom to her little boy Trent, and she is working two jobs in order to support them both. One of these jobs is in a bar that belongs to the MC, and since he first laid eyes on Carly, Wasp has been trying to get her phone number off her. I loved Trent, and he just cracked me up with the things he said. When Wasp realises that Carly and Trent are in danger, he will do whatever he has to in order to protect them. This is a wonderful story, which is highly entertaining and humorous, and I cannot wait to read more from this talented author. I highly recommend this authors’ work for all MC lovers!
I feel like a broken record repeating how amazing this series is but I honestly with each new addition, I just can’t help it. The Author has taken a wonderful storyline and run with it. Her remarkable ability to take a very real everyday issue with our returning soldiers and weave it in and out of the storylines around the MC members is just phenomenal. If you haven’t started this series, it a military/mc must.
Wasp is your typical MC guy in that he lives for his club, his shop and his bike. He’s also a player, enjoying life with no interest in settling down. Wasp also loves a challenge, and Carly, a waitress at the bar the Dead Presidents own, is definitely a challenge; he is attracted to Carly, even though she won’t give him the time of day. Plus, he knows she’s hiding something and he’s determined to find out what. Carly is a single mom on the run from her past. Trying to say in the shadows the last thing Carly and her son need is Wasp, or any man, butting into her life. But staying away from Wasp doesn’t prove to be as easy as it should be. Especially when Wasp wins the heart of her small son, Trent. (Oh and trust me when I say you’re gonna love Trent – Totally steals the show from time to time).
I started reading Trapping Wasp and the next thing I know I was reading the ending. It’s fast paced, humorous, heartwarming, exciting, suspenseful and romantic all rolled up into a fantastic storyline. I can’t recommend this book/series enough. 2 Thumbs up and grab your copy today. You won’t regret it.
Comprised of former military, the Dead Presidents is an MC dedicated to helping returning military reintegrate into society. They do their best to provide them with the resources they need to move on with their lives, regardless of what is needed. Whether that be a job, mental or physical support, or just brotherhood, they are there for each other when needed.
Wasp is a man that has never quite fit in. Coming from a large family full of over achievers, he has always felt like an outcast. Until he found the Dead Presidents MC, he wasn’t sure where he belonged. Being a mechanic, he hadn’t seen the type of action that most returning military has seen, and doesn’t have to deal with the types of issues most do. He is one that provides the support needed. He is satisfied with his life the way it is, and is a stereotypical MC brother. He likes the freedom, the ladies, and the lifestyle. He doesn’t think anything is missing, but after meeting Carly, he just can’t get her out of his mind.
Carly just can’t catch a break. Her life has been one bad turn after another. And just when she thinks she is moving on, finding the family she so desperately wants, those closest to her are lost in a tragedy, and she is running scared. She meets Wasp at her job, and is determined to resist him. She knows his reputation, and knows he isn’t good for her. Besides, she isn’t in a place to get involved, even temporarily, with anyone.
This story is a satisfying bit of MC romance. A strong story line, fun characters, and plenty of action combine to make a well written book that kept me entertained from the beginning to the end. Lots of heat, and more than a few laughs, lead me to recommend this book (heck, the entire series!) to anyone looking for some awesome reading.
I can’t remember the last time I started a book and then “BAM” I was done. Trapping Wasp put me in my own little reading bubble. Nothing got in until I reached the end. I got lost in the words, lost in the story, lost in the discovery and I don’t want to be found.
Wasp is/was a confirmed hit and quit it kind of guy. They only came to his room at the club. He only did them once. He didn’t give out his number. They didn’t know where he lived. And then Carly happened.
He could sit at the bar every night and she still wouldn’t give him the time of day. He could ask her daily, and she wouldn’t give him her number. Little did he know, it wasn’t him. It was fear. Fear of a past, fear of the future, fear of loss, fear for her son, fear of everything that made for a true life. He was so desperate that he gave her his number.
Seven numbers can be powerful thing. A child’s smile can be the catalyst. Trent was everything to her. His struggles gutted her. She was failing her son and she couldn’t stand it. She would do anything for her little boy, even push seven little numbers.
Seeing why I got lost in the pages? Determination is a powerful thing. Falling in love for the first time can change everything. You just have to give it a chance. This is one of the most amazing stories of discovery that I have ever read. Never over the top. Never overpowering. It was a story where I fell in love with a little boy and wanted him to have is happily ever after just like Wasp and Carley did.
Wasp and Carly had me glued to this book. He was the radical of his family where as Carly came from a dysfunctional family with foster parents. She lived a hard life and teen pregnancy only made things harder. When her best friends came up dead and she speculated that it may have been intentionally, she packed up and left town with her son. Meeting Wasp turned the tides and as they their feelings grow, Carly’s past is returning. Will Wasp and his MC brothers be able to keep her safe from what’s heading her way?
Another great book from an amazing writer.
This gives another fascinating story in the Dead Presidents MC Series. We briefly saw Carly knocking back Wasp in Wreaking Havoc and good on her.
Wasp has been chasing her and loved that he didn’t give up on what he wanted. But also that he saw that he wanted more than just a quick one night stand with her as well as so many MC books the men are so resistant to relationships this was more refreshing.
Carly is a strong women who’s running for her past with her son Trent. Although obviously afraid I love how strong willed she is as well as the fact she wants to do things alone and her way.
Thing I loved most about the book though has to be that there was so many funny and humorous scenes that had me giggling away and so its not all doom and gloom. Though there are more serious bits in the book I lived for these parts.
Definitely recommend to MC Romance readers especially those who want something a bit different.
WOW, I really got into this one pretty fast. Strong hero, amazing kid and a heroine that wasn’t a pushover.
The storyline and flow was great and I loved it.
Trent is awesome
While Ms. Stone writes about motorcycle bad boys really well, I just couldn’t get into Wasp. He just didn’t do it for me.
