The first book in the Condemned Series, TRAPPED is a stand alone, action-packed, sexy sci-fi romance with a HEA, a strong heroine willing to do what it takes to survive, and a scorching hot, broken alpha hero you can’t help but fall in love with.

Okay, so this story was steamily interesting and reaffirmed my love for all things Alison Aimes. I’m still new to reading from the scifi romance genre, but she has quickly earned a spot on my must-read list!
I enjoyed the twists and turns of this story. Being trapped on a foreign planet and finding a way to survive. Caine rediscovering his humanity was an excellent addition to the action and steamy scenes. I was rooting for them the entire book!
I read this book as part of the Condemned Series, Books 1-3.
This author does a great job of world building and plot development. The two main characters, Bella and Caine are so complex and driven that you get so caught up in their story almost immediately! Great read for romance lovers and Sci-fy enthusiasts alike, with a touch of steamy bits for those of us who like that extra spice!
I bought this on a whim & and almost stopped reading thinking, this is a bore. But I went a little further and suddenly, I was hooked! What a wild story! The author couldn’t have imagined a more horrid location and evil crazies. The main characters were stuck in a disgusting place with virtually no chance of escape, yet they continued to struggle and survive despite terrible odds against them. I couldn’t stop reading. The ending (a good one) came too soon and led into a new scenario on the same place where. . . . . . .no, I’m not going to tell you, you’ll need buy the second book and read it yourself.
I ripped through the second book and have started the third. Both are just as good as the first. And I think there’s a fourth coming out very soon – can’t wait!!
This is my first book by this author and I look forward to reading more of her. I enjoyed her style of writing and this book.
It was an interesting story and for me the interaction and the tension between the characters worked really well. Bella saw goodness in Caine, a part of himself he had forgotten and Caine chances because of that.
The worldbuilding was done well. Lots of details so it was easy to picture.
Can’t wait to read the rest of the series.
I do love a sci-fi read! The story is based on a prison planet, where only the most depraved and strongest survive. When Bella’s ship crash lands after suffering engine problems, most of the scientists and support crew don’t make it. The small band of survivors quickly learns that while they may have survived the crash, surviving the planet is a whole different kettle of fish.
Two main problems I had was that one; the book ended so quickly! Though there is an epilogue that helps to tie all the loose ends up and stirs your interest for book 2.
Secondly; certain character traits and actions of the female MC had me shaking my head in frustration and disbelief.
