No passion, no emotion, no originality¿a train wreck of epic portions.¿Those were the words to describe Eve Thorton¿s exhibition. Not even a fine arts degree from Yale or her daddy¿s bank account could save her from the scathing reviews. And failure was a word Eve would never be comfortable with. Not even close.Plotting the demise of every critic who¿d written her off was her first instinct. … instinct. But that would come later. Instead, she would show them that she wasn¿t a bored socialite with more money than talent. She would prove everyone wrong, and she wasn¿t afraid to get her hands dirty. But when her journey for redemption crashed headfirst into Josh Logan, the sexy, talented tattooist from Queens, getting her hands dirty took on a whole new meaning.

Eve Thornton’s recent art exhibition left a rather sour taste on the attendees of the event, causing her so much stress and doubting herself and her art. Then she caught her boyfriend in the act with someone else. Talk about a real train wreck of a disaster.
Talented tattoo artist Josh Logan had his hands full with customers and clients praising his work. He didn’t need another distraction. Until Eve appeared out of nowhere asking for his help.
I love how the story started with Eve’s world breaking down and slowly finding her way to a better circumstance. I love how this book provided stunning visuals and imagery for the reader as depicted by the artistic characters. Josh Logan was a breath of fresh air, with his manly bravado and insightful personality.
I found myself laughing and smiling all throughout this book. T. Gephart’s sense of humor is astounding and imaginative. I love how this was artfully written procuring artistically heart-melting thrills for the reader to enjoy.
What a funny, sexy, and sweet story. I loved it from beginning to end. I look forward to the next book in this series. This was my first book by this author, but it won’t be my last.
Train Wreck was a beautiful story…I had a great time reading on a sunny summer Sunday.
I istantly loved our heroine with her craziness and her attitude stole my heart from the first page.I found myself rooting for her artistic and personal achievement.
I enjoyed to follow Eve in this journey,to see her growing strong after a few failures and bad events and to never stop fighting for her happiness.
This was my first T. Gephart read and I liked the cover, the writing, the plot, the flow and the main and support charactres that will have you laughing and swooning throughout the book.
Solid 4.5 stars for me.
I really enjoyed Josh and Eve’s story. This Rom Com had the right balance of witty dialogue, hot chemistry and a dash of sweet. I smiled a lot reading this book and enjoyed the light hearted story telling and great characters. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun, easy read.
Oh and can I just say that this might just be my favourite cover of 2017
What do you get when a tattoo artist and a real artist in the dumps meet? You get hot sex and a man in turmoil in one place. I loved Eve wanting to reinvent herself determined to do anything she can as an artist. Josh, is just wow, talk about a strong man fighting his desire for her working side by side. Seeing them together so easy to see them complete one another. Loved that Josh is so professional yet when it comes to
Eve he is torn with his feelings. These two are perfect for each other seeing them form a friendship then seeing them love was hot. All in all this was a great book by T. Gephart cannot wait to see what happens with Dallas though. Loved it.
“I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own.”
Don’t have lots of words to explain how I feel about this book. It completely blew me away. It was a funny, sexy and romantic story that will leave you wanting more. I need a Josh of my own 🙂 Definitely worth the read!
Eve’s gallery showing hasn’t gone well and when she comes home, to make matters even worse, she finds her boyfriend cheating on her. Now taking everything in her own hands, she ends up in a tattooshop trying to convince the owner Josh to take her on and show her what her ‘art’ is missing.
Josh and his business partner have been working so hard that they don’t have time to find another tattoo artist and when Eve walks into the door, it seems like all their prayers have been answered but not every thing is as it seems and when Eve makes him an offer he can’t refuse, they’ll both find in time that their paths will take them on a journey neither of them have foreseen…
What a treat! This was my first T. Gephart novel and I loved it. Outside appearances aren’t always what they seem and Josh Logan and Eve Thorton know that best. He’s tatted but not a criminal and she’s rich but not a spoiled rotten snob. They meet under unusual circumstances. Their attraction is instant and hot with great chemistry. But they hold back for a bit and let it build on a somewhat slow burn. Their internal dialogue is hilarious but their out-loud banter is too. You get to know them and they easily carry the story. There’s not a lot of side action from secondary characters, but Josh’s best friend, Dallas, is awesome and Eve’s group of girls are supportive. A little angst towards the end to get your heart rate up adds a little excitement to this great romance.
I would be lying if I said I wasn’t captured from the very first chapter, because guys it was instant love for me. This book had me completely hooked from the very first sentence in chapter one people. And why?
Because T. Gephart has a way with words that just simply draws you in.
And that is exactly what she did.
Meet Eve.
Young, beautiful and driven. Art is her thing.
But her very first exhibit…..A complete disaster.
The critics…..Brutal.
So with her career in the toilet, she takes comfort in knowing she has her man, Oliver at home waiting for her. He will help her get through the humiliation.
Yeah right….
Not when she walks in and finds him….Ummm what could you say….In an awkward position…
A day that Eve just wants to forget.
But it doesn’t end on a bad note as such.
She meets a stranger that will lead her to hope.
She meets a stranger that will hopefully lead her to the one person that may help her out of her career slump.
She meets a stranger that will hopefully change the course of her life.
Sounds simple enough?
Yeah well fate has other ideas.
Meet Josh.
An artist in his own right.
But instead of canvas, he draws on skin.
Owning his very own tattoo shop.
Talented, gorgeous and career driven.
Eve gets her chance to meet him and hopefully he can guide her in the right direction.
So Eve meets Josh.
Josh meets Eve.
He can help her.
Give her direction.
Sounds simple from his end.
Sounds pretty simple from her end.
But what you get when Eve and Josh are together?
A beautiful train wreck that just leaves you breathless.
I honestly can’t rate this novel high enough. From the first chapter I literally sat with my kindle in my hands laughing so hard that my own family had thought I lost my mind. The humour was just consuming.
Eve and her sassy mouth, her charm and quick wit.
Josh and his cocky attitude and charm.
And please let’s not forget Dallas…..What an absolute charmer. God that guy was totally hilarious.
Over a fun-loving, hilarious, witty and sweet read that I couldn’t put down.
Again T. Gephart captured my heart with not only her witty words and great story-line, but the emotion and depth that I could feel from beginning to end.
A huge 5 star read for me
Train Wreck was a really fun read. I enjoyed the banter between all the characters and the chemistry between Josh and Eve was really steamy. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a light rom-com.
An excellent romance with a driven heroine and a hero to support her. The perfect balance of everything. Most importantly, it was definitely a fun read! You’ll love it!
