This is the third book in The Bradens & Montgomerys: Pleasant Hill – Oak Falls Series. Graham and Morgyn’s story is sweet, romantic, and beautilly written. They are opposites attract, but they complement each other, and they are perfect together. I like the family bonds in this Series. Virginia Rose and Aaron Shedlock did a great job with the narration. Looking forward to listen to Wild, Crazy Hearts, the next book in the Series.
Morgyn Montgomery and Graham Braden meet at a festival unaware that their families and friends know each other and possibly were planning to set them up 🙂 On the outside they seem so much like opposites but together they compliment and completely support each other.
I loved that this story was relatively low on angst and drama. It is a really good small town, big family romance.
I listened to the story on audiobook and loved the dual narration by two awesome narrators. Definitely worth grabbing this one for a listen.
-4 Stars!-
Melissa never disappoints. I love how she brings the Bradens and Montgomerys together. Graham the planner where as Morgyn is a free spirit. They could not be more opposite. Morgyn and Graham met at a music festival. They had such an instant connection. This is definitely a must read. It is a standalone, however I suggest you read the other books.
I love listening to audiobooks. I listen while driving to and from work. It makes the traving bareable.

I purchased a copy of the novel This is Love (Harmony Pointe, New York book 2): Remi Divine by Melissa Foster and this review was given freely.
A mix of romance, good friends, and suspense with a caring and protective group of realistic characters but a little over the top. Chafing at the security restrictions placed on her by her brother Aiden and at being stalked, Actress Remi Divine longs for both the freedom and closeness found with her Harmony Pointe Dalton family friends. Little did she realize that she would find safety and love as well as a new purpose in life with Former Special Forces officer the current PI and security guard Mason Swift.
Most of us at some point in our lives have gotten together with someone at a fair, festival, or at a vacation spot, but mine were never like Graham. Lucky, Morgyn! If you have read most of Melissa Foster’s books before, you might be familiar with Graham, Morgyn, and both of their families, but this is the first time that they have met each other. Graham, also known as Cracker, and Morgyn, also known as Sunshine or Floaty, are as different from each other, as they could be, other than they are very caring of other people, and taking care of our earth. As different as they are, they fit together smoothly, and wear off a little on each other, to make each a better person. I loved the part about the homeless man. This is a wonderful story, that I kept wanting to go back to, long after I would turn off my car. The narrators, Virginia Rose and Aaron Shedlock, also even added to the story, using only their voices. Melissa Foster earns 5+ stars from me for this book, and the two narrators also earn 5+ stars from me for their part.
Trails of Love was the third book in Melissa Foster’s Braden’s and Montgomery’s: Pleasant Hill and Oak Falls series.
Morgyn Montgomery was the eclectic free spirit. She was beautiful and owned her own retail shop, Life Reimagined.
Graham Braden was an electrical engineer. He was meticulous and thorough – the complete reversal of the quirky Morgyn.
Foster took us through an insta-attraction, insta-passion, insta-love scenario between differing life philosophies. It was a fun plot watching the dynamics between the two. There wasn’t much drama and conflict through most of it and there wasn’t even the expected conflict when you have two polar opposites. The storyline focused on the exploration and meshing of two unique worlds into one and how they complimented one another.
True to form for Foster, Trails of Love was well written and well developed. She also spent time providing explicit detail for both occupations, which provided additional depth and interest to the storyline. And as no surprise, she threw in some life lessons for reflection and insight.
Also true to Foster’s MO, the friends and families were ever present and a central part of the storyline. Brindle’s story was staged well and is up next in Wild Crazy Hearts.
This story was just filled with positive energy and realistic situations resulting I a great romance story all around. I really like to read a story that follows a couple without drama and pretense and just pulls in the normal elements of love, kindness, and worry between couples. Graham “Cracker” and Morgyn are a real love match. Their quirky hippie ways make this a very fun read.
I listened to the audio version and the two narrators were really good for this story.
TRAILS OF LOVE is another sexy heartfelt listen that will blow you away!
With great writing, perfect pacing, and fantastic twist you can’t help but fall in love with Graham and Morgyn. Simply put you need this audiobook in your life!!
OMG Melissa, I absolutely fell in love with Graham & Morgyn!!
Morgyn is at the music festival waiting for her sister to perform, when she see’s a hot guy wearing an MIT hat, but he’s with another guy, she thinks he’s gay! Well then she see’s him in a compromising position a little later, needless to say their first meeting was hysterical!
Morgyn is a free spirit, makes clothes, jewelry out of stuff we think of as junk. When she meets Graham, its like lightening as struck. He’s an investor, but balances her free spirit out!
I absolutely loved the joining of the Montgomery’s & Bradens, and these two don’t disappoint! The laughs and the swooning through the whole book, I just loved the entire story! 5 stars for this, oh and I need Brindles story like now!!! Enjoy this amazing story!!
This is my first book by Melissa Foster and I have to say that it will not be the last. I really enjoyed this book and the scenery and setting was absolutely mind blowing. I felt like I was there in the little town seeing everything and making friends with the towns people.
In this story we get to meet Graham and Morgyn. Graham is a traveling investor and he is in town for his friends wedding and possible investing of the theater that his friend has. Graham meets a gorgeous woman the night before the wedding and when he is at the wedding he sees her in the wedding party and realizes she is the brides sister.
Morgyn has an awesome business where she takes things that others trash and she fixes them up and resells them. But she is in need of help because her rent has gone up and she is not sure she can afford it. That is when she gets the idea of having an investor and she is going to ask her sister’s husbands friend Graham for help.
But Graham is not sure he is willing to help her out because of what he has seen so far she is impulsive as to seriousness that he takes when he makes investments. But Graham is willing to give Morgyn his heart because the chemistry between them is there and it is palpable. But will Morgyn want to travel the world with Graham and leave her business behind or will she stay with her small town and struggle to keep her business?
Even though this is book 3 in a series of books with intermingled characters in a small town, it was easy to fall in love with Graham “Cracker” Braden and Morgyn “Sunshine” Montgomery. I totally enjoy Melissa Foster’s style of writing and writing about small town romance is what she does best. I applaud authors that can build a whole little world in their head and be able to convey that into the written word that is actually entertaining and not boring and overwhelming.
Graham Braden is in town for his BFF’s, Reed Cross, wedding. You can’t help but fall for Graham and his conservative personality. Even though he needs to know all the risks before he jumps into something, he is a free spirit when it comes to the bedroom and that is definitely a man I can appreciate. While at a town festival, Graham doesn’t anticipate meeting the free spirit Morgyn with her pouring rain water on him while he takes a leak… . Even though this meeting is unconventional, these two hit it off and want more than that one magical night. Last place Graham expects to run into Morgyn again is at the wedding of Reed and Grace, Morgyn’s sister.
Morgyn is a free spirit that goes where the wind takes her. She never sweats the small stuff and is always real and true to herself… The complete opposite of Graham. Even though this is apparent to Graham, he cannot stay away from this woman that is a disorganized mess and flies by the seat of her pants.
I love a good opposites attract romance story because the characters really do open one another up and have so much fun doing it. I don’t know how Melissa Foster has been able to keep this cast of characters straight in her head and on paper, but she writes about a town that I jealously want to be a part of and see if I can meet my HEA.
** I voluntarily left a honest review after reading an advanced review copy of this book **
Ms. Foster has an amazing ability of giving us new characters to fall in love with all while bring back many of our past favorites. Each new Foster book is like going to a family reunion, where you actually want to see your family ; ) Graham and Morgyn are the classic opposites attract and they work so well together. One quality Graham shares with most Foster men is finding the woman he will love for life and not looking back. I personally couldn’t relate to Morgyn’s carefree attitude but found it so refreshing. This book was such a great read, it was steamy, sweet, heartwarming, and has the ability to just make you happy. I can’t wait for more!

The third addition to The Bradens and Montgomerys in Pleasant Hill introduces us to Graham Braden and Morgyn Montgomery. Although on the surface this pair may appear to be opposites, appearances can be deceiving and they have a lot more in common than you’d think.
Graham is an engineer, philanthropist and investor, but and adventurer at heart. Despite his wandering soul, he is methodical, organised, controlled and has a tendency to asses every risk and plan accordingly.
Morgyn is a fun, free spirited, quirky soul, who goes with the flow. She’s a unique character, who although very passionate about her work she is also quite disorganised and her life is kind of chaotic. She’s endearing sassy and outgoing, and really is beautiful both inside and out.
Graham and Mogryn’s story is passionate, romantic and sweet. The moments they share are heartwarming and will leave you swooning. The attraction they share is instant and undeniable, and their story is full of moments of heat, heart and humor.
I loved seeing more of the both the Braden and Montgomery families, and cannot wait to revisit Pleasant Hill in coming titles.
very good
Talk about love at first sight! Morgyn Montgomery is at a music festival with her siblings when she sees Graham Braden in a pretty compromising position. Once the air is cleared these two are inseparable for the duration of the music festival. Graham promises to find Morgyn at her work after he has completed his plans for the weekend. Well, unbeknownst to him, Graham finds Morgyn at his buddy Reed’s wedding. Turns Graham buddy is marrying Morgyn’s sister. Graham and Morgyn find themselves falling hard and fast for each other while experiencing travel adventures together.
Trails of Love is my first Love In Bloom Series by Melissa Foster in a really long time. I love big loving family saga books like this series. Characters are well developed, loving, beautiful inside and out. The heroes are ruggedly handsome, smart, heart-of-gold, and sexy. The heroines are smart, funny, sexy, and beautiful (not just skin deep beauty either). I have read several other books in different series by Melissa Foster loved them all. If you like great family sagas, HOT guys, smart women, and great stories over all then you will enjoy Trails of Love.
If you follow my reviews, and I hope you do, you will know that I am a fan of Melissa Foster’s books and Trails of Love is a perfect example of why. In Trails of Love Melissa has taken two of her most beloved families and brought them together, the Bradens and the Mongomerys, with the pairing of Morgyn and Graham who couldn’t be more opposite than one another if you tried. Morgyn is the free-spirited soul that some consider flighty while Graham is an investor who assess the risk before taking the leap, they say opposites attract but I say that these two have just enough of their own quirks to balance one another out to make a perfect pairing.
Morgyn and Graham met at a music festival where two of Morgyn’s siblings are playing in their bands. I will not post any spoilers but I will say that their first encounter was eye opening! This story was insta-lust/love so we are gifted with plenty of sexy times with a bunch of sweet times as well, I felt everything moved at a fast pace but that was probably because they didn’t have to many obstacles standing in their way.
While Trails of Love is the third book in this series it can easily be read as a standalone, the couples from the first two books make appearances in this one so be warned that it will contain spoilers if you plan on reading them but haven’t yet. I would recommend this story as well as the series to lovers of contemporary romance especially those that like some sweet with their naughty. Happy Reading!!!

The way Morgyn and Graham meet in this story is beyond cute. Although I adore Melissa Foster’s writing, it’s usually her fellow LWW friend Marina Adair who I rely on for phenomenal meet-cute moments. To be fair though, this is more of a meet cute for adults if you know what I mean.
I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop with these two. They are so great together, that wasn’t in question. It’s just that Morgyn is definitely floaty…her word. Although Graham is quite the free-spirit, he’s much more grounded and always weighs the risks. It made me adore him all the more that he appreciates Morgyn’s floaty ways and even encourages most of them. Of course, nobody is perfect. But they are perfect for each other. I absolutely loved a scene where Graham gets jealous. It’s not really one of his character traits, but you can’t blame the guy. So when he makes his gesture it’s unexpected and hot and even kind of funny.
Through this story, I couldn’t help but try pairing Morgyn’s single friends and family with Graham’s single friends and family. Trying to figure out who would make a great match and where another great romance may come into play. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for all of these folks.
There is so much of this story that is a lead up to a Brindle/Trace pairing. Not in an overwhelming way, but certainly in a way that hooks the reader to want to know more. Another favorite part of this book for me is at the end, during an emotional scene with Brindle, the way their parents respond. I don’t give spoilers so I cannot say what is said. But I just wish all parents in all the world would remember the wise words of the Montgomery patriarch.

Two thumbs up! Once I started this book I could not put it down! Melissa’s characters are so realistic. The book draws you in from the beginning and holds your interest until the end. Graham and Morgyn are drawn to each other from the beginning and fate just keeps bringing them back together. They compliment each other and turn their individual weakness into their joint strength. Perfect fun read for a stormy day.
On a side note if you have never read a Melissa Foster book try any of them. I promise that you will like them! I started out reading her Seaside Summers series and I can honestly say that I have now read every book that she has listed on her site. Once I tried her books I found that they were a wonderful way to unwind after work once the kids were all taken care of and in bed. Her characters are easy to relate to and you can see yourself in some of these same situations. They draw you in and make you laugh out loud at some of the things life throws at them.
Morgyn and Graham – one free spirited and flighty the other a risk assessor and more grounded. Two opposites who are actually more alike than they realise. They bring out the best parts in each other and the connection is undeniable. Morgyn radiates sunshine and you cant help but feel her amazing energy as you read this story, and Sunshine is just the most perfect nickname that Graham could give her.
Their first meeting at a festival was just hilarious you just have to read it! The attraction was undeniable and immediate and once the little misunderstanding of her thinking Graham was gay was sorted out it turned out they were destined for each other. Neither were really into one night affairs, but once getting together they decided on fate to bring them together again if they were really meant to be, and fate dealt her card when Graham turns out to be a guest at Morgyn’s sister Grace’s wedding!
From there they are aware of the emotions of being apart and you can tell that Graham is really more like Morgyn deep down, which makes their connection all the more stronger. This is one story that will make you smile the whole way through at how sweet, free spirited and yet sometimes naive that Morgyn can be.
Bradens and Montgomerys coming together is just a dream come true for Melissa fans, and I cant wait to see what she in store for these two families next.
A steamy romance with wonderful characters. I truly enjoyed this book!
