There’s something about those Bradens. They’ll steal your heart before you even see it coming. Add in a Montgomery and you’re done for. Trails of Love is the best of both worlds. Graham and Morgyn are a reminder of what makes a Foster read a must. Their adorably complicated, fabulously addictive and heartwarming gold. The perfect feel good read.
Audiobook Review: Trails of Love (The Bradens & Montgomerys: Pleasant Hill – Oak Falls #3; The Bradens #28; Love in Bloom #68) by Melissa Foster (Author), Virginia Rose (Narrator), Aaron Shedlock (Narrator)
Two series favorites join forces to put the moves on hearts everywhere. Trails of Love feels like the first time, no matter how many times you read or listen to it. Graham and Morgyn are a match made in Foster heaven. With a hint of heartache along the way.
How is it I’ve never had the pleasure to read Ms. Foster’s work before now!!! What a captivating book to start the new year off! I will definitely be binge-reading her books in the near future.!!!
If you enjoy sweet, yet steamy romances…this one is for you!!! There were points where I truly I truly got so emotional, that it brought tears to my eyes. I absolutely this book!!!
Graham Braden is the sexy and considerate planner. Morgyn Montgomery is sassy and free spirited. Theirs is a whirlwind romantic relationship. It’s a wild and sexy feel good romance. Both of the main characters are generous and always think of others. Graham and Morgyn are such a sweet couple.
“You might not be a solid business investment, but, sunshine, you’re the only woman I’d invest my heart in.”
At first it was a little overwhelming trying to keep all the family members straight, since they both come from large families. The author gives you just enough tidbits about the rest of their families to keep you wanting more… and now I want to learn all their stories.
“The sun will rise and set, family will always have your back, and when you find your soul mate, who you are will change forever.”
Graham and Morgyn are such a sweet couple. They even give each other such cute nicknames, “Cracker” for graham cracker and “Sunshine” because she exudes happiness. I also enjoyed all the silly nicknames the Montgomery sisters gave Graham throughout the book.
“God, I love you, sunshine, and I can’t wait to float around this world with you.”
This is the third book in The Bradens & Montgomery’s: Pleasant Hill – Oak Falls Series. It can be read as a standalone. This book is definitely an EPIC read. Thank you Ms. Foster for providing me with the ARC of this book. Trails of Love by Melissa Foster will be joining the ranks of BIBLIO-ARISTOCRACY!!!
“KNOW IT. TRUST IT. ACCEPT IT.”
When free spirited souls collide. I really liked Morgyn’s ‘floaty’ character and she swirls around Graham so easily it’s a beautiful love story. The way she sees life and how she lives it is something we should all do and it made me realize things too along the way. It’s a HEA story filled with emotions and a humorous side. Meeting her sisters is an entertainment in itself; each different but somehow loveable in their own way. I’m always thrilled to see how the characters I’m getting to know are interconnected with others from Melissa Foster’s previous books and it’s always a pleasure to get a glimpse into their evolving lives.
Graham and Morgyn’s story is a reminder of how some people have the ability of getting the hidden side of your personality out. Gently without knowing they make each other bloom into better human beings.
“You soared into my life like a gust of wind or a runaway kite—magical and unstoppable. “
Looking forward to read more about the Montgomery sisters and the sexy Bradens.
TRAILS OF LOVE (Love in Bloom #69, The Bradens #29. The Bradens & Montgomerys: Pleasant Hill – Oak Falls #3) by Melissa Foster features Morgyn Montgomery and Graham Braden in a contemporary romance that left my romantic heart completely satisfied.
Morgyn Montgomery lives life in the present and to the fullest. She has a beautiful heart and a flighty spirit that her sisters never want to see change. She has her own business where she repurposes everything from clothes to furniture and turns them into unique, one of a kind creations for resale. With the rise of her rent, she is not sure if she can continue with her business as it is, but she refuses to worry.
Graham Braden is an investor and engineer who has a traveling soul. Lucky for him, he and a friend have a successful company that funds and invests in projects that are eco-friendly and innovative all over the U.S. Graham is in Oak Falls to attend the wedding of his friend, Reed Cross and possibly invest in his theater restoration project. To his surprise, the beauty he met and cannot forget the night before at a music festival is the sister of the bride and in the wedding.
It was love at first sight for these two. Graham is captivated by Morgyn’s spirit and love of life. He feels he has finally found someone to travel the world with if he can figure out how to teach Morgyn to think outside of the box with her business without crushing her uniqueness. Morgan knows Graham is a planner and is willing to take his help, but is she willing to spread her small town wings and travel the world with Graham?
I LOVE all of Melissa Foster’s Montgomery sisters. They are all unique, love life and family and live their lives on their own terms and to the fullest. I pick up each new book and fall right back in to the family love and drama as if no time has passed at all.
Morgyn and Graham may seem opposite at first, but both have enough similarities to make this pairing perfect. They both fit and make a dynamic couple. Every little thing they do for each other and the consideration of each other’s feelings and families is swoon-worthy. There is as much fun and laughter as there is sexy steam and heat. The sex is explicit, but appropriate to the story.
This book is an addition to LOVE IN BLOOM family by Ms. Foster. It can be read as a standalone romance, but I suggest reading The Bradens & Montgomery books in order to watch each sister find her perfect mate. I highly recommend this romance!

Just finished listening to this Audiobook and both narrators really did a fantastic job at bringing Graham “Cracker” Braden and Morgyn “Sunshine” Montgomery to life!! Love these families so much I can’t seem to get enough of them! And with a Braden book you know you always get lots of other family members which I adore about these books! This story is so charming and sweet and I absolutely love where it goes from beginning to end. If ever two souls were meant to unite, it is Graham and Morgyn. They could not be more perfect for each other. Another 5 star winner by Melissa Foster!
I loved this fun, sweet and steamy romance between free spirit, Morgyn Montgomery, and careful planner and businessman, Graham Braden. After their hilarious meet cute, their wild attraction is undeniable and they fall for each other hard and fast. As they spend time together, these opposites start to change each other and open a whole new world to each other. I loved watching the evolution of their relationship, and watching with them, discover how perfect they really are for each other. Of course both of their families are very involved in their lives, being wonderfully loving and supportive. Narrators Virginia Rose, and Aaron Shedlock are so perfect as Morgyn and Graham. Their expressive voices and ability to easily move between fun and flirty to impassioned and poignant is incredible. I love listening to them both and they definitely make this story even better. Morgyn and Graham were so much fun and I loved their epilogue. It also made me very excited to find out more about Morgyn’s sister Brindle next.
A new Melissa Foster is out now!
They say opposites attract–this book will certainly prove that point! An immediate instant attraction–Neither of them is into one night stands—but—yes this one gets quite racy. Graham is supposed to go to his friends wedding–and he goes–never expecting to see Morgyn there. Love is in the air but neither will admit to it–and Morgyn does not believe in marriage–commitment yes, marriage no.
Morgyn has a store which is about to be sold–she has to find another place for her business. She is not really thinking about it–but Graham is and against his better judgement he agrees to look over her business and give her some advice. Then she is invited to show some of her unique handmade pieces at a show being given–they are a hit–
Graham has plans and when he tells her what they are–she is all for it. But can they make this all work? I really can’t say much more without giving away the plot.
Hum–are they really opposites—-only time will tell.
A dream come true to those who are Braden/Montgomery Family fans. These two families are forever intertwined with the coming together of Graham Braden and Morygn Montgomery. These are two amazing families who are mentioned throughout this series and now are coming together as couples. I love to reconnect with characters that intrigued me while reading past books and are now the main characters in their own stories.
The persistence in Graham’s need for Morgyn is wonderful. He doesn’t let their differences push him away, he embraces her uniqueness, loves her spirit, and lets her be herself. Morgyn also accepts Graham’s need for control and order, yet she does push him to accept that everything in life in not able to be under his control.
I have to mention the Jericho brothers. Breaking in horses at an ungodly hour without shirts on….mmmm I want to hide on the hill and watch that. I look forward to hearing more about these cowboys.
Morgyn and Graham meet at a music festival and it’s an instant and strong connection. Something that neither one of them have ever felt. Hoping for more than one perfect night that brings two seeming different people together neither realizes how closely their lives are actually tied until the next day at Morgyn’s sisters wedding. Graham is good friends with Morgyn’s sister’s new husband and is in town to help revamp the theater they own.
I love this book because it took risk manager and a free spirit and put them together. It showed that even if they seemed very different they actually both had a little bit of both and fit together. They are so awesome and (don’t forget) hot together you can’t help but root for them to figure it all out. Throw in Morgyn’s fun and crazy family and this book was a fun as well as a spicy read.
I received an advanced readers copy of this book for a honest review.
The Braden’s & The Montgomery’s come together in an all new, romance. If you’re looking for a sweet and sexy story that will warm your heart and leave you smiling like a fool, then look no further, Trails of Love is just what you’ve been waiting for.
One of the things I love most about Melissa Foster’s writing is that I can drop in to any book, any story-line and immediately feel like I’m at home. While I wish I’ve had the opportunity to dive into each and every one of the Braden & Montgomery books, I just haven’t yet. But that’s the beauty of these stories. While they are all interconnected in one way or anther, they can all be read and enjoyed as stand-alones. The characters and their stories will pull you in instantly. They’ll make you feel like you’ve known them forever, so you won’t have to fret about being lost.
Trails of Love is the newest release from Melissa Foster and like her other books, this one hooked from the very first page. Morgyn is a beautiful force. I loved and admired her free spirit. She’s the kind of girl that believes in love, fate and auras. In her mind everything happens for a reason and life is too short to worry about everything. I loved how real and true to herself she was. She wasn’t willing to change for anyone and just wanted to be the free spirit that she was. And when Graham came into the picture, he totally turned her world upside down. Their connection was strong, instant and totally sweet. It’s like their two souls met and a light bulb went off. I loved how accepting Graham was of Morgyn’s personality. He loved all of her quirks and how free she was. Being a risk assessor, you’d think these two wouldn’t mesh well, but Graham has a bit of wanderer in him and these two just make it work. I truly enjoyed Graham and Morgyn’s story and love watching the two of them figure things out.
Trails of Love was a wonderful read from beginning to end. As always, I admire the family strength, love and bonds that this author puts into each and everyone of her stories. I loved the realness of the characters and how you could tell that they really cared for one another. I loved the romance between Graham & Morgyn. There was no drama, maybe some light angst, but not really. Their story was just one of straight up sweet, swoon-worthy romance with just the right amount of naughtiness packed into it. All in all, a terrific read to spend your afternoon curled up in.
Cute, feisty and sexy as all get out! With the next book in the Bradens and Montgomerys series, we get Graham and Morgyn’s story. As always, the characters were adorable together and quick to pull me into their story. I felt like the story wasn’t as well developed as a typical Melissa Foster book though. While we went through a little strife with them, it was only a dash of an after thought and then all plowed ahead. Two huge families came into play to fill in the space, but the overall couple needed more development. Still loved reading it though!
When Graham Braden passes through a local festival while he’s heading to Oak Falls, Virginia for his buddy Reed’s wedding, he never expects to meet a woman who knocks him for a loop at first sight. He can’t resist temptation and she’s a hard woman to walk away from. Come to find out, she’s Reed’s new sister-in-law and one of the reason’s Reed wanted him to stick around and give some opinions on the theater remodel.
Free spirit Morgyn Montgomery can’t believe she met a man at the festival. He’s more than she ever dreamed of and if she believed in marriage, she might propose on the spot! She has some big business decisions to make, and Graham has the knowledge to give her some advise, but he usually steers clear of mixing business with pleasure … but for her, he might break all of his rules!
Trails of Love: Graham and Morgyn are two free spirits that have immediate chemistry between them and never waiver from their feelings. This is definitely one of those feel good stories that shows the good in Morgyn and Graham and the need and want to help the less fortunate.
Another couple to fall in love with. With the new year comes a new romance to fall for. The couple. The friends. The family. The love. The friendships. This was another home run hit from Melissa Foster. You find another reason to believe that love will be the answer to it all. Morgyn and Graham show that there something deeper than the differences between them. They find common ground and uniqueness in the quirks of their relationship.
Morgyn and Graham are characters that you could find being your friend. The writing of Melissa Foster gives you that sense of coming home to family and old friends. You take the journey with the couple and enjoy the secondary characters. You find connections with all the characters and get immersed in the story. Another story to had to your come back and read again.
Favorite Quote:
” I’d have to be crazy to run away from you. You’re everything I never knew I wanted.
– Impulsive and floaty?
You might not be a solid business investment, but, sunshine, you’re the only woman I’d invest my heart in. ”
Melissa Foster combined a magical spiritually woman with a business man. And in a way that it’s the only natural thing that Graham and Morgyn will be together. Not after debating and thinking it over. Not by going with the flow. But because it is the only outcome possible. They only needed to meet each other and everything else felt in place. Like the universe not only agreed with this love, but arranged it to make it happen.
I really love how Melissa describes the spiritual world without making fun of it, but by making it so perfectly true. There is no doubt that every scene is written sincere and right from the heart. All the things Morgyn is doing are so perfect in sync with the character that is beautiful build. It just fits.
And Graham is the gentleman every girl is longing for. With his smart ass answers full of humor. I love the conversations between them and couldn’t get enough of it!
Rating Trails of Love:
9* Trails of Love by Melissa Foster is a more than wonderful read. It brings you to a magical world and you can only wish that persons like Graham and Morgyn would really exist. It’s a story you can’t read fast enough and it ends to fast as well. Because you want it to never ends!
While at a music festival with his brother, Graham stumbles across an enchanting woman. They lock eyes, but he loses sight of her until she sees him peeing outside. Taken by the dancing woman, Graham spends the evening getting to know Morgyn better. Morgyn is quirky, whimsical, free-spirited, and like a ray of sunshine. She breathes life and light into everything. Although he finds her free-spirited views different, he’s immediately attracted to her. Suddenly, coming to Oak Falls doesn’t seem so bad.
Morgyn is all about tradition, love, auras, living life to the fullest, etc. Morgyn is disorganized, but highly creative, sheltered but yearns to help others. Morgyn owns a shop that specializes in one of a kind items created out of reclaimed materials. Morgyn’s creative, carefree personality is what captures Graham’s attention. As they spend more time together, they can’t imagine living life without the other. Their relationship is soon put to the test when Graham is offered a job out of the country….
I LOVED Cracker and Sunshine! I loved how two totally opposite, but the same people are so right for each other. This story is unique, entertaining, and makes you want to jump into the story and give Sunshine a big hug! If you’re looking for an insta-love, opposites attract, quirky novel…this is the one for you! I highly recommend this novel and can’t wait to see what’s in store for Morgyn’s sisters. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.
Graham and Morgyn are truly opposites except when it comes to their families and people they care about. Where Graham plans, Morgyn just goes with a feeling. He’s well traveled, she isn’t. Graham is the perfect man to help Morgyn discover new things and at the same time she opens his eyes to things as well. The care and respect they show each other is very impressive. Pick this book up and settle in for some laughs and a few awwwws as you read it, no disappointment in this book! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving my review.
Trails of Love by Melissa Foster
What a wonderful group of people I met in this heartwarming love story that went forward pretty much without a glitch. Morgan Montgomery is a free spirit with a creative bent and is enjoying herself thoroughly when she spots a man in the music festival crowd that puts a smile on her face…just as she puts one on his. They end up spending most of that day together and then the night and then really most their time from then on because what they have is so very very special. There is a wedding and she has business issues to deal and he has to make some trips dealing with business but how the two manage to achieve their HEA was a joy to read. I haven’t read all of the stories in any of the series that Morgan and Graham may have appeared in but that did not make a difference in my thorough enjoyment of this book. I heartily recommend this book and am definitely looking forward to reading what happens to Brindle, Morgan’s sister, and whether or not she and Trace will end up together.
Thank you to the author for the ARC – This is my honest review.
5 Stars
I REALLY hate it when I get ready to blog about a book and find out there are NO WORDS in my review. *sigh* But I digress …. Lol Let’s talk about this book for a few seconds.
Best way to describe my feelings is: I did not not like Trails of Love. Overall, it’s better than middle of the road but not by much. For me, the story was just there. Honestly, it bordered on yawn-inducing. There just wasn’t any spark or wow factor. It’s easy-going (which is good) and low-drama (also good) but Graham and Morgyn didn’t have spark. Their characters just felt off to me. UGH, I know I’m not explaining this well but it’s the best I have.
Anywho, I’m not going to beat a dead horse about the whole spark thing, but I do want to say that even tho this was not one of my favorites by this author, she will continue to be an auto-oneclick for me. She does great work and has proven that time and time again.
