Since this is National Dog day I thought it was a good time to review this book. This story is also about K-9 dogs and how they work along side their human partners to restore law and order. These intelligent dogs are very vital to the Police Departments across the country . Readers get to know Zeke’s K-9 agent Cheetah, a beautiful Australian Sheep Dog who is willing to take a bullet in order to protect Penny and Kevin from Jake and his ruthless partner in crime, Gunther Caprice. I thought this story was worth five stars. Not only was it gripping and edge of seat but there was also romance too. The story was unpredictable and entertaining. Definitely a page turner.
I recommend Tracker to readers of Suspense Thrillers and Love Inspired Books. It’s the last book in the Classified K-9 Unit series. I read it as a stand alone and thought it was very good.
I borrowed a copy from the digital library. A review was not requested. All opinions expressed here are my own.
I really enjoy the books about K-9 Officers because it is amazing to realize the bond between the partners & how effective they are when working together.
This is the next to the last book in the Love Inspired Suspense series Classified K-9 Unit (the last book in the series will be released in December 2017) . I loved all of the books, but Tracker was my favorite (and that’s really a tough call, because all of the books were excellent). Tracker, of course is the very hard hitting finale to the ongoing storyline about the FBI Special Unit against a family crime syndicate. This book threw a few curves, which I liked, because it wasn’t predictable. Tracker (and the the series as a whole), though romantic fiction, was not mushy and slushy, and though it was an FBI K-9 unit, and the dog figured strongly in the storyline, he did not overshadow the storyline or characters in the story. The storyline dealt with the issues at hand, with the romantic characters being brought together through the common bond of the situations that brought them together. The books of this series can be read as “stand alone”, but to get the full idea of not only the entire story, but also the awesome corroboration work of all of the authors of the series, as they weaved this storyline together; these books should really be read in sequence.
