The prophecy is coming true. It’s either the Fae Queen dies or I do—and, for the first time ever, I have something to live for.My parents are alive. Melisandre, the cruel Fae Queen, is holding them hostage. She thinks that they’re all the leverage she needs to lure me into her clutches. She isn’t wrong. But Nine, the Dark Fae who has looked out for me since I was a kid, won’t let me sacrifice … for me since I was a kid, won’t let me sacrifice myself. The Shadow Prophecy says that only I can defeat the Fae Queen and end the Reign of the Damned.
Then again, it also says that I’m gonna need the help of my fated mate. Who, I just discovered when he gave up his freedom in my place, is Nine.
Whoa.
I didn’t want to do this. I didn’t want to have anything to do with the fae.
Too bad I don’t have a choice.
Okay. Okay. One step at at a time.
Step One: Save Nine.
Step Two: Get to know my parents.
Step Three: Defeat the Fae Queen and save Faerie.
When I discover that there’s a way to do all three of those, I’m game… until I find out that it requires me to do something I swore I wouldn’t.
I have to go back to Black Pine. I have to go back to the asylum. Then, if I survive the confrontation with the Fae Queen, I can finally—finally—put this whole Shadow crap behind me.
No biggie.
With my Shadow Man at my side, and my newfound powers, I know I can do this.
And all it will cost me is one last touch.
**Touch is the third and final book in a trilogy featuring a wary & independent half-fae heroine, the Dark Fae who has shadowed her her entire life, and her quest to learn about who she really is and why the powerful Fae Queen wants her dead.

Touch by Jessica Lynch is an amazing story to read. This is book number three in this amazing series that I have loved reading very much and I can not wait to see what this author will write next. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about fae, fantasy and paranormal romance.

Ok all 3 books should have been one. Too short which in turn you do not get the depth of what it could have been. Had a unique story concept but again lacked depth and better character development. Ok story, ok characters, ok romance, some action and magic. Pretty covers.
Such an AMAZING book. Sooooo GOOD!!! wish the editing had been better but I didn’t let it ruin the overall experience of this AWESOME BOOK!!!
The fae queen is seeking Riley. Riley has saved her parents from the fae queen’s statue garden and pulled them through a dark portal along with her mate Nine. Now her parents are no longer statues, but Nine is. And that is just the beginning… This is a really good book. I enjoyed it and would recommend it.

„Touched” is the conclusion to the “By the Fae” series by Jessica Lynch. In this third full length and final book in the series Callie after realizing that her parents are in fact still alive, needs all help she can find to free them from the captivity of the Fae Queen. But before she can even attempt to confront the Queen, she would have to ransom Nine, her companion and guardian, who traded his own freedom for hers to appease the Fae Queen and the only ally she could trust in the upcoming fight to fulfill the Shadow Prophecy.
Ridley’s character developing through the series is astounding, she has come very far from the orphan child who was committed to Black Pine Facility over six years ago, maturing into a confident heroine who has come to terms with her own role in fulfilling the Shadow Prophecy. Nine and Ridley relationship evolves and consolidates into a more balanced interaction, and… the rest you must have to read by yourself.
“Touched”, while the conclusion to the “By the Fae” Series”, makes a good read as but some aspects of the ploy are much more enjoyable with a previous knowledge of the arc-story. It’s a page-turner, action-filled, fast-paced book, with fine moments of lightness and twisted humor, enjoyable intrigues and a generous dosage of adult romance.
Wow A Fantastic addition to the series. It’s a fast paced and action packed read that really has you on the edge of your seat. There’s twists and turns and epic scenes that really makes this a page Turner I definitely recommend
