They won’t get away with this. The last words I spoke before his casket was lowered into the ground have become a way of life. The Collectors stole too much from me, and I won’t rest until vengeance is mine. But plotting against an organization built on secrecy and coercion is more challenging than I anticipated. In order to make headway, unexpected alliances are formed, and existing relationships … and existing relationships are tested.
With the Psych Squad by my side, I’m determined to follow through on my promise. But that kind of resolve doesn’t come without a price.
Even as my feelings for Stowe, Noah, and Jameson grow, I continue putting their lives at risk.
And by the time I realize I’m in danger of losing myself, it might be too late to stop what I’ve set in motion.
My name is Adele Rose, and I know nothing but wrath.
Touch of Wrath is the second book in a slow-burn reverse harem series.

Ok I will start by saying I want my own first kiss with Jameson, just like that please and a side of Stowe and Noah thank you very much!! What a roller coaster this book was, for sure. Less sad emotions this book but man I are we discovering a slew of new ones and I love every minute, Adele is amazing and her growth is so cool to watch!! Book 3 can’t come soon enough for me!!
I really enjoyed book 2 in The Collectors series by Autumn Reed! I appreciated all the twists and turns in this book and how Autumn upped the tension/heat factor. The beginning of the book was hard to swallow sometimes because of all the heartbreak Adele had to go through with the loss of her loved one and the destruction of the shop. I thought how Autumn weaved in the spy and the new character was done well and kept the intrigue going! I really loved the relationship building in this book.
Stowe and Noah are still my favs, I can’t wait for more to happen between Adele and them (Stowe is such a big teddy bear and Noah is adorably romantic and dorky hehe). I liked how Jameson finally let down his walls (not completely, there is still a lot of work to be done with them) and enjoyed the additional guy possibly and his puppets hahaha. I am interested to see how the dynamics change in book 3, which cant come soon enough
Recommend this series, book 2 definitely picks up after book 1. I enjoyed getting to see more of Adele’s abilities and unknown side she didn’t know about. Need to know more about Aunt Ruby and the coven, lots of story to still tell. Can’t wait for more, not too much longer til Touch of Promise
Way to go, Autumn, you’ve broken me again – but in the best way. I’ll take the third book right now, please and thank you!
Y’all, you don’t want to pass this series up for ANYTHING! #Swoon
Revenge. Adele has lost her home, her business, and her beloved father because of The Collectors. All because the organization wants to use her powers for their own desires. They have taken everything that mattered to her and she won’t rest until she has vengeance. She can’t do it alone and she can’t risk the lives of her new friends. New allies must be made, old grudges set aside. As her feelings deepen for Stowe, Noah, and Jameson she realizes that she still has much to risk, but is it too late?
The Collectors series is one of my favorite paranormal RHs. It’s so full of feeling. There is a simple elegance to Autumn Reed’s writing that shines through on each page. There is a sweetness with Adele and her guys that is often missing from other books in this genre. The characters are genuine. This is a grief-filled book. Adele’s grief is prominent but she is not the only one who is dealing with loss and betrayal. It makes their new connection feel more fragile and more valuable. Adele’s character growth is handled nicely, her sorrow, her guilt, and anger, her attraction to the guys all resonates. The scenes between Adele and her guys were so emotion-filled. Stowe, Noah, and even Jameson are impressive. I don’t want to give any spoilers but their actions and words were thoughtful, caring, funny, and absolutely swoon-worthy. This is vital in a slow burn RH. We are also introduced to a new character in this book. Mason is a bit of a wildcard; unexpected and possibly untrustworthy, but then he could be exactly what is needed. As I stated, wildcard.
The mystery throughout this book is wonderful. So much is unknown regarding The Collectors and their endgame. Adele’s witch side adds yet another layer. There are several developing surprises to accompany the furthering of the relationships. It’s a balanced, entertaining read.
I really enjoyed book two in this series. It has picked up right where book one left off with Adele losing so much. This book is a slow burn, but we get to see more of the relationships building with Jameson, Noah and Stowe. There are a few twists and turns in this book. I can’t wait to read the next book.
