Taking her is my right.
Breaking her, my duty.
I was always going to choose Helena. I knew it the instant I saw her.
She’s different than the others. There’s a darkness about her. Something wild inside her. And it calls to the beast inside me.
But she isn’t what I expect. With every word and every touch, she pushes me, burrows deep under my skin, challenging the rules, upending history.
And … rules, upending history.
And all the while, I see how my brother watches her. He wants her, and as the rules stand, she’ll become his in one year’s time.
Except that I have no intention of giving her up.

OMG, this book is 50 shades of messed up! I was totally right in my review of Taken, this duet is a reverse harem gone wrong, well actually the second book, Torn, is a ménage à trois gone terribly wrong. I don’t even know how to feel about this. SO.MUCH.HAPPENED!
Torn is the second book in Natasha Knight’s Dark Legacy duet and just like the first book, Torn, is full of action, suspense and holy smokes, a whole lotta sexy time! Torn didn’t go in the direction I thought it would when I finished reading Taken. I for sure thought that Helena would of fought a little harder for her freedom and at least someone was going to die. I’m not sure how I feel about the ending. There are some things that were left open, characters that we really don’t get closure from. I feel that there could be another book in this series, one that doesn’t focus on Helena and Sebastian but maybe on a certain brother and sister???
Torn is dark, complex, sexy and the relationships are totally f*cked up. Helena and Sebastian are two broken people trying to find a way out of a terrible situation but the damage has already been done by past generations of Willows and Scarfoni. Like I said above, I’m not sure how I feel about the ending because I feel like Gregory was left hanging. I feel like he has a story to tell and I hope we get that story. I kind of like Gregory, not sure what that means, but I found myself rooting for him.
If you read Taken, Torn is a must read and make sure you have extra panties because things get hot, hot, hot.
