A fox among wolves. Wanting him had to be a sin… her in two with one bite of his jaws but she couldn’t help falling into his trap. Astrid just hopes she can survive it.
She was his.
Astrid stood there trembling in the dark, wounded, and that’s when Marcus knew he had to have her. A fox among his wolves. He would protect her, from their families and even from himself. But when fate handed her back to him on a silver platter, he couldn’t let her go. Her place was in his bed. All he had to do was survive a pack war long enough to keep her.

This was a nice read. Marcus and Astrid are good together. There could have been more. More between them, more build up, more hotness. It felt slightly rushed after their first sexy encounter. There could have been more about side characters too. Like Ambrose. Overall I liked it.

While not reading the first two books in this series I did not feel lost at all since the book can be read as a standalone. This book was well written with great characters and world building and storyline flows nicely.

I enjoyed this book. I liked the instant attraction between Marcus and Astrid and their relationship in general. I like the mention of other shifters in the novel besides what the main characters were. It was a little hard to read some scenes, they didn’t make sense and it seemed on the short side. But i would recommend this book.
Expect plenty of action as this one evolves the mob. But when the bosses are shifters it changes things. The main female character is quite sweet and is always trying to help her family. Too bad they don’t deserve her and she will learn the hard way as a teenager. A few years later some things have changed but a disappointing family has not. But she may find a savior in wolf’s clothing.
It was a pleasure to read this intriguing shifter romance. It is the third book in the series “My Wicked Mates” & is standalone & complete. It has a well-paced story-line & plot filled with some unexpected occurrences. The characters have complex personalities & one in particular (a wolf shifter & alpha pack leader, Marcus Lupin) displays deviousness & determination to claim his mate (a fox shifter Astrid) regardless of who or what stands in his way.
There is: Various kinds of shifters, some twists, intrigue, suspense, betrayal, enemies, threats, danger, violence, conflict, emotional blackmail, confrontations, happiness, love, a little steam & a happy ending.
When Astrid was sixteen Marcus saved her from his monster of a father now she was his.
Sixteen year old Astrid a fox shifter was uncomfortable and out of place at the party her father had insisted she attend at his boss Mr Lupin’s home. She soon retreated into a window ledge to read the book she had brought with her but when she gets up to head for the bathroom she is accosted by Mr Lupin who tells her that her father had brought her and her virgin body to the party as payment of a debt to him. She is saved by his son Marcus claiming her as his date and whisking her off. He takes her home giving her his phone number in case she has any problems. Years later her drug addict brother Charlie steals millions from the Lupin Wolf Pack. A shifter romance to relax and enjoy.

Marcus, heir apparent to the Lupin empire, meets his mate when his father is trying to rape her when she is 16. Protecting her from his father as well as from the world of crime around him he observes and protects her from afar until her brother is using her as a bargaining chip.
Marcus has no choice but to play along to protect her from her brother and his associates.
An intersting set-up and not an easy situation to navigate.with a nice solution.
A pleasant read, quite entertaining.

I loved reading this book! A sweet and passionate romance, as alpha wolf shifter and pack leader Marcus meets up with his unclaimed mate Astrid, a werefox. She was just too young when Marcus rescued her from out of his father’s clutches ten years before. Now her druggie brother has gotten himself in deep trouble with Marcus, and Astrid ends up as collateral, again. But this time, Marcus is not walking away from her. A quick read with a happy ever after! Love it!

This book had plenty of action, plot and most important of all a happy ending. There was enough character development that in the end, ultimately showed how somethings are just meant to be…well, in this parallel universe.

This was a very good read. I found it to have a great combination of suspense, action, romance and several types of shifters.

I have read a lot of these types of books lately and honestly found this one to be refreshingly different. Her writing draws you in and keeps you involved throughout the whole story, I found myself in love with not only the characters but also the world she created.
Her descriptions of the characters abilities are so involved, you can truly picture it in your mind.
Their attitudes toward the events that are happening makes the story even richer.

I loved reading this story. I opened the book and didn’t stop reading until the last page. I was swept into the story from the first page.
Astrid is saved by Marcus when she was a teenager. He knows that she is his mate but the timing was not right and he didn’t want her getting caught in his world. When circumstances bring them back together again, will they recognize their bond?

Great book, the characters are drawn to one another but life has a way of getting in the way. Marcus tries to protect her from afar but a way to bring Astrid closer to him comes to him. He will do anything to keep her and keep her safe.

This is great addition to the series. The characters are well developed and engaging and the storyline flowed with ease. The chemistry between the couple if off the charts steamy and the twist and turns it takes is enough to get me on the edge of my seat as the make their way to their HEA.

Astrid and Marcus almost read like a Romeo and Juliet type of story… but instead of feuding families, you have almost racist breeds… I did enjoy this book and the struggles and fight of the characters. Its probably not my favorite by this author but it is still worth a read.
