He’s my nemesis. My tormentor. A notorious criminal with a smoldering smile to mask the devil hidden beneath. Conniving. Threatening. Brutal. He stalks me from the shadows. Makes me itch to place him behind bars. But he has an offer I can’t refuse. A major risk with the perfect reward. I can’t let down my guard. Can’t be tempted to trust him. Not even when I begin to understand his corrupt … him.
Not even when I begin to understand his corrupt ways.
Because the only face the devil shows is the one he wants you to see.
And all I’m seeing is hunger.

Torian kept me on my toes from page 1 until the very end. Eden Summers has a way of drawing me into her books and keeps me there until the book ends, and then I wish there were more pages!
Torian gets inside your head before he seduces his way into your heart. Summers is at her best when crafting enigmatic, bad boys with alpha tendencies. Anissa and Torian turn love into a paradox that hurts when it’s beautiful and haunts the heart with tragedy. These characters blur the lines between right and wrong. They thrive in the shadows and wither in the light, but it’s the allure of the danger that convinced my heart to give them a chance. Like a cryptogram that takes forever to solve, Torian stays with you long after you figure him out.
Where to start with Cole Torian? We got to see him in the first two books and I couldn’t wait to get his book, because I knew it was going to hold something good, but I just didn’t know what.
Anissa doesn’t see Cole as anything but someone who should be locked away in jail, but will she ever see the good in Cole?
This book had it all, from the hurts – to twists – to smiles and love. Then, I get to the end and I’m like WOW did that really happen at the end. Really, Eden?
This book can be read as a stand alone, but why would you want to miss out on Eden’s other wonderful characters in this series. So start with Hunter and meet everyone and eventually Cole Torian will show up.
ARC received for an honest review.
Great book.
Fabulous series, addictive characters and compellingly storyline. You’ll be captivated by the characters and once you start reading you cannot stop!! brilliant thanks Eden x I cannot wait for Cole!
4.6 stars
I was right to assume that Torian would become my favorite of this series so far. I won’t lie and say that I liked him from the beginning. I didn’t. Yet, there was something about him as the pieces started falling in place that intrigued me. In this book, I get all the pieces and what I saw I REALLY liked. He does bad things and makes “morally bankrupt decisions. However, he isn’t doing it out of malice but rather to protect. He is fiercely loyal and I like that. He isn’t reprehensible. He made some valid points in defending who he is.
I didn’t like Anissa in Decker’s book. So when she first appeared in this one, I was a little irritated that she was going to be the love interest even though you really can’t have better enemies to lovers relationship than a drug lord and a FBI agent. As the story progressed though. I really liked her. I could feel the chemistry between them and it felt authentic when both tried to fight it, especially, considering that these two are polar opposites in regard to how justice is meted out.
I was surprised on how this book ended. It ended, not really on a cliffhanger but rather a story that wasn’t finished or resolved. Apparently, the ending won’t happen until after the books Savior and Luca. I am excited about those stories, don’t get me wrong, but I would have LOVED to get this one resolved first. Still, this was a great book. This entire series has been filled with suspense and a fantastic storyline. I read this as part of the boxset.
It’s A Push & Pull, Black & White Vs Shades Of Grey!!

Torian (Hunting Her #3)
FBI Agent Nissa Fox riled Crime Lord, Cole Torian, at his Uncles funeral where they finally arrested his Father Luther. She was cocky, condescending & taunting – He. Was. Livid!! He puts surveillance on her, which he participates in, he knows he shouldn’t but can’t stop himself. He wants her fear & is going to own it! The FBI interference has stalled his plans to End his Dad & his sick business in Greece!
Nissa knows she’s being followed, she can feel it every time the hair on the back of her neck rises! She’s being sent flowers with semi threatening messages too. Cole approaches her one morning to ‘talk’, which is beyond odd. It’s not until later that she finds out he used her as his alibi when his Dad was broken out of his prison van on his way to court!! Cole is everything she hates about Criminals & now he’s gotten her unofficially suspended. He tells her had nothing to do with the sex slaves or the break out, that he has proof to show her but only on neutral ground so it can’t be traced to him. She warily agrees, they take off in a private jet to circle the Portland sky’s – She wakes up with a pounding headache, on a secluded island in Greece!!
A real test of each of their morals, trust & beliefs follows. They both manipulate the other. He’s trying to show her that things aren’t black & white, that the Feds caused more harm than good by arresting his Dad, that she needs to let him deliver his own brand of justice & to stop viewing him as the monster – it’s a tough sell!! These 2 are a nightmare together but also sort of inevitable!!
This is full of tension, manipulation & confusion. There are shocks & deep betrayals. Luther is a bigger monster than we ever thought!!

I throughly enjoyed this book about Annisa Fox a FBI agent who appears to believe that the world is black and white and Cole Torian the son to one of the largest mafia family, Cole who is the current head of the Torian family as his father is currently in hiding for his crimes to evade conviction. Cole is dark dangerous captivating sexy man, and has an ego and reputation for his brutal strength and protection of his family above all else.
When Cole takes things too far as all hell breaks loose in his father’s business. A business of human trafficking that has Cole disgusted about. The “little fox” as Cole likes to call and torment Annisa battles with their sexual chemistry, and emotions develop in a way that neither can explain or resist.
What starts out as a sick twisted game to torment quickly spirals out of control. The storyline was gripping never quite knowing what was going to happen next. I can’t wait for their story to continue. Hot sexy enemies frustrated, not quite sure who will win in the battle of emotions that threatens to destroy them both. A stubborn power struggle A must read.
Torian – Book 3
The action in this series moves from story to story it’s crazy how each story picks up right where the last one left off.
In this book we get to see Hunter and Decker’s boss Cole Torian use his mob boss power to bring all 3 stories together with a shocking discovery! This discovery is one that the reader really doesn’t suspect.
Once again we see Eden Summers dynamic writing bring everything a reader want to participate in, the anger, the grief, the shock and surprise and the betrayal that weaves through these stories.
It’s like you want pictures please and I found myself going back to read parts several times because I just had to see (read) that sequence again.
I am waiting for the next story, because nothing has been tied up and I want to see these people get something positive out of all the darkness they have traveled through.
omg i totally expected to hate torian (the man not the book lol) now don’t get me wrong he is every bit as dark and dangerous as you expect, (well who doesn’t love a bad boy) what you dont expect to find is a heart and the emotional struggles, there are plenty of twists and turns to keep you interested, and if you have read hunter and Decker the expected second guessing of everyone’s motives.
Loved this! Cole is such a sexy anti-hero, you have to love him. This book kept me enthralled from start to finish. I had trouble initially connecting with Annis but given what a ball breaker she was in Decker’s book. My biggest disappointment is the ending, there has to be more more no?……….
Come on Eden, I reckon you could write Luca’s story and maybe include a bit more of Cole? Pleeeease (I’m not above begging )
After reading Hunter & Decker, I still wasn’t sure about Torian….I was curious but not fascinated with this character. I was truly concerned if I would fall for him as I have done with every single character Eden Summers has created. Cole Torian is a bad boy personified, he is sexy, witty, strong, and oh so capable of every dastardly deed imaginable. Anissa Fox is stubborn, beautiful, and determined to make a name for herself by taking down Cole & his entire organization. The perfect pair when they finally give in to their passion. This book was a fabulous fast read ~ an absolute page turner with plot twists that will have you saying WTF did I just read! Torian does not necessarily contain an HEA…it’s not exactly a cliffhanger either…but it definitely is one hell of a thrill ride! I highly recommend & personally can’t wait for more of their story.
***I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.***
I have read a couple of books by Eden Summers and I have enjoyed all of them! This book was so steamy I couldn’t put it down. I loved the hot and cold between the main characters.
Anissa and Cole are complete opposites but they both have this instantaneous pull to one another. They both try to fight it but end up giving in or being stubborn.
Absolutely LOVED this book and recommend you give this a try if you like Enemies to Lover Romances!
Torian
By: Eden Summers
Narrated by: D. C. Cole, Laura Jennings
Romantic suspense has to be my favorite of all the romance sub-genres and Eden Summers is one of the best. This third book in the Hunting Her series had me sucked in and listening til all hours just to see what was going to happen! Anissa is an FBI agent, ready to take down the Torian family, but finds herself in an unusual predicament. Cole Torian, member of the Torian family has taken her, but not for the reasons you may think. This fast paced, action packed book has a story line of inhumanity, greed, strength and loyalty plus a building love story! This is my kind of book. Unexpected twists and turns, steamy passion and an ending to leave you wanting more! Eden Summers, bring it on, I am ready for Luca’s story!
Listening to this book requires narrators that can give you everything. DC Cole and Laura Jennings do just that. DC Cole is amazing, and is able to create any circumstance with his voice. We could feel intimidation and fear, and incredible heat and passion with his voice. Laura Jennings is the perfect compliment to him with her talent. She puts so much into her narration that I could see it happening as she was telling it. A performance you don’t want to miss and will definitely enjoy.

Who says opposites don’t attract? We get the whole good girl bad guy story with Torian. We have good girl Anissa who is an FBI agent who believes everything is either right or wrong, and black and white. The bad boy Cole Torian the druglord knows there are many shades of grey out there in the real world. He feels responsible for an incident that happened years prior. He is going to do everything in his power to make it right the wrongs that have occurred.
The mind games these two play with one another had my head spinning back and forth. I get they are on different sides of the law, but I was hoping for so much more. Anissa drove me insane with the whole back and forth her inner turmoil got to be a little much. Cole definitely knows how to flip the table on her, and does it quite frequently.
Torian is the 3rd book in the Hunting Her series and I was anxiously awaiting this story. I loved Torian. He’s tough, ruthless and determined and we learn so much about him is this story and what makes him the person he is today. For the majority of the novel I really disliked Anissa. Her stubbornness and attitude was so extra, it was a bit annoying.
As expected, this novel was fast-paced and action packed. With twists and turns you won’t expect, this story was unpredictable. It will have you hooked from beginning to end and will evoke a range of emotions from you. OMG…and what an ending, it definitely leaves you anxious for more.
I listened to the audible version of this novel. It was narrated by D.C. Cole and Laura Jennings. These two did a marvelous job with the portrayal of these characters and really brought the story to life. It was enjoyable listening to them narrate this story.
Torian was another wonderful addition to this series. I loved it and would highly recommend it to all lovers of romantic suspense and opposites attract stories.
Agents Anissa is the ball braking woman who takes on Torian and wins his heart that’s who. Torian is a darker read and a longer book for Ms Summers but the book needed to be longer to convey the story that was being told.
Torian tries to play mind games with Anissa but unfortunately/fortunately she gets under his skin and into his heart. The guy is dark and dangerous there is no doubt about it. He’s been groomed by his father from a young age and its the life he lives and knows. The book has an ending your either going to love or hate but I feel the story needs to end that way. An enjoyable read if you are okay with darker romance. I can say that I loved the book.
Cole Torian and Anissa Fox are two of the most magnetic characters I have ever encountered. From the opening line of this book until the very last, I was captivated. The suspense of the story and intensity of the attraction between the two main characters are definitely worth every minute I spent between the covers of Torian.
This is the very first book in this series of stand-alone Mafia Romances that I have read. It is the third book in the series, but definitely, not the last. I could not put this book down because Eden Summers kept me completely engaged because I had to find out what the next twist in this darkly tinged story would be.
Love and loyalty to family, both blooded and chosen are the driving force for the characters in Torian. No matter the side of the law in which they resided, the passion to protect and avenge their loved-ones is the uniting force which make these characters human. This deep-seated love provides and basis for the reader to understand and have compassion for these multi-faceted individuals.
I thoroughly enjoyed Torian. Hunter and Decker will be my next two reads. I feel the need to know these secondary characters I met along Cole and Alissa’s journey. Eden Summers did a superb job of creating a fascinating world that I want to explore in more depth.
yes!! loved Cole’s persona. ruthless and calculating torian with the strong and sexy FBI agent Fox. full of action and strong attraction from their complete opposite. totally had me glued to the pages with everything thats going on and oh my gosh that ending! very well written!
This book was one intense read with the well written and well planned plot and characters that were written with great detail and depth! I was so enraptured as I turned each and every page that I had a very hard time putting this book down! I always look forward to reading what this author writes next!
