He’s my nemesis. My tormentor. A notorious criminal with a smoldering smile to mask the devil hidden beneath. Conniving. Threatening. Brutal. He stalks me from the shadows. Makes me itch to place him behind bars. But he has an offer I can’t refuse. A major risk with the perfect reward. I can’t let down my guard. Can’t be tempted to trust him. Not even when I begin to understand his corrupt … him.
Not even when I begin to understand his corrupt ways.
Because the only face the devil shows is the one he wants you to see.
And all I’m seeing is hunger.

I absolutely love Cole Torian. He was in two previous books and there was something about him that made me want to know more. Eden doesn’t disappoint with Torian. I still can not properly express myself after reading this book. All I can say is wow, I need nore.
Cole Torian is absolutely everything you would except him to be: ruthless, determined, calculating and compelling. Nissa is a strong, independent in control woman who is determined to put Cole behind bars.
These two couldn’t be anymore different but immediately you can feel the tension and attraction between them.
Oh holy hell. High octane passion and criminality!
At the end of Decker, I wondered who could possibly be a match for the psychotic Torian, and when I read the blurb, I was rapt, because Agent Anissa Fox is the perfect ball-breaking adversary and romantic partner for him.
Nothing about their story runs smoothly though, because Torian had plans to badly mess with Anissa’s head, only she ended up getting under his skin.
She’s gritty, abrasive and Torian thinks she’s as sexy as hell. And, she’s every bit as passionate about bring down a monster as Torian is. The big difference is, they are on opposite sides of the law. Their moral compasses are at loggerheads, and their passion is as equal and opposite as anyone can get. It’s explosive.
Torian is a bad man who is doing good things. I struggle with the romanticism of this ilk of criminal, but is he honourable? Oh, he absolutely is, in his own way. He is the complete package. A gorgeous and sexy GQ-esque of a man whose continuous introspection and questioning of his own motives and judgement made him one of the most complicated male characters I’ve read for some time. He owns his criminal livelihood, but his line in the sand has been forged through family violence, betrayal and heartache. Of his devastating realisation that his father is one of the worst kind of disgusting animals in existence. Anissa couldn’t judge him for what he wanted to do, any worse than he judged himself.
She is such a tough cookie and perfectly isolated from all who should have been her peers. To all intents, she has no family. The betrayal of her father, a highly admired FBI agent himself, has seen her painted with the same brush, so add to that their dismal treatment of women in the Bureau, it is easy to see that she would not only take help from any quarter, in bringing down a deviant kingpin to prove her fellow agents wrong, but also find it hard to resist the sexual tension between them.
While their ultimate goals and bodies aligned, their ingrained methods of carrying out their plans were total polar opposites. I questioned whether they could ever be together without one of them dropping their own core beliefs and changing sides.
I am absolutely excited about this series, but I could happily have murdered Eden Summers with her ending. I mean, where the hell was her head at when she left us with that? The HFN almost killed me! But, I will just as quickly admit that they have too many issues to resolve to be able to pull a happy ending out of thin air. Ms Summers has done right by her characters. They need more battle time, and more pages to sort their story, and I can’t wait to be there.
5 Stars and a recommendation that if you love deep and twisted romances with a heavy hand of chemistry and passion, then you’d best get your backsides into reading these books.
After Deckers book i was so excited for Coke’s book to be next and i was not disappointed at all, there was so much to this book i just didn’t want to put it down.
Cole was a bit of an enigma and when we really get to know him in this book you can see that he sees himself as a bad guy and doesn’t deserve good things but once you get towards the end of the book you can see that he is not that bad and he is too hard on himself. His story was so interesting and the fact that his father is not a nice man and he wants to protect his family just shows what kind of character he really was.
Anissa she was a firecracker, she was stubborn but again she’s not who she thinks she at the start. Her story is totally different being that she is a FBI agent but by the end you see that’s she last not as hard hearted as you think.
The reason why i loved this book so much was it had everything in it, great chemistry between Anissa and Cole, it had angst, kidnapping, violence, stalking, an amazing storyline, it just had everything and the fact that there is going to be more just makes it all that more exciting.
I also loved all the other characters as well, Luca is awesome, i was glad to read the previous characters as well especially Hunter he makes me laugh and then the discovery of Tobias and another character pop up has me itching for more.
Another awesome novel by Eden Summers her writing in this book was perfect and really engaging bring on the next book.
I have been itching for Torian’s story since I first read Hunter and this book did not disappoint! A bit forbidden, enemies to lovers story with scorching hot chemistry and a storyline that keeps you on the edge of your seat! I loved the dialogue and the way I wasn’t quite sure what would happen next! A must read!
Awesomeness!!! Great story about the head of the Torian family. After his father’s disappearance, Cole Torian is in charge of the business, he is tough and ruthless. He needs a ruthless woman and that’s what he gets with agent Anissa. Action all the way through the book, angst and lots of chemistry between the MCs. I bet it was not an easy book to write but the author weaves the story in such a way that nothing is a given, even the very end. So very Cole
The bad guys are sometimes good guys and the good guys are nowhere nearly as good as they should be. Torian has hidden plans and agendas that involve Anissa, an FBI agent out to make a name for herself by taking his family down. Plans and agendas that involve taking down his father’s sex trafficking empire and teaching Anissa all about the gray areas of life. Kind of an unfinished ending so we get to look forward to more story!
Torians story is so much more than I imagined, my eyes devoured this story and yet they are still hungry for more…I NEED MORE….SOON…PLEASE!
Torian was groomed by his father at an early age. He’s nothing like his sisters who were looked after by their mother. Lately Torian has been out of control, more agitated than normal. There’s a reason for this. His father is the reason. There once was a time when he idolized his father, Luther, and felt he could do no wrong. Luther’s business associates have taken him down an even more depraved, sadistic path and Torian can no longer sit by and watch him destroy the family name.
Just when Torian is about to deliver justice, the FBI, headed by Agent Anissa Fox, steals his thunder.
Weak and defenseless aren’t words used to describe Anissa. Dedicated and always on high alert are more her style.
Torian makes it his mission to personally learn everything he can about her. While Anissa wants Torian in prison for all the crimes he’s committed, Torian vows to break her. Both have ulterior motives and when they decide on a truce, things become complicated. A truce is not the only thing they want. They both have the same goal, they only disagree on the punishment.
MORE PLEASE
Torian sure lived up to his reputation, and then some, from the previous books.
THIS STORY HIT THE GROUND RUNNING FROM PAGE ONE AND STAYED STRONG UNTIL THE VERY LAST PAGE ! ONE AWESOME, WILD RIDE FULL OF PASSION, DESIRE AND TOTAL SURRENDER NOT JUST PHYSICAL BUT EMOTIONAL ALSO !
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS AMAZING BOOK ! ! !
This book is everything I never knew I needed!
Torian has so many twists and turns, I didn’t know what to expect from one page to the next. And I want more!
Ms Summers has outdone herself with this incredible story. The emotion bleeds from the pages and the characters are so well written that you can relate to their struggles and torments. Do yourself a favour and read this book now!
Torian …. the one bad boy that I want to hunt me and I would be back for more.
This is not your typical love story – true, there are flowers here, but they don’t come with hearts. There is passion, but it will drive you up the walls (before and after !!!!) and just prepare yourself to go mental few times during this read, but believe me when I say – HE IS WORTH IT !!!!!!
God, I want him all over me. Anissa takes a while to get used to but she is a kickass I want all female book characters to be.
you have to get this book. It is not for the fainthearted but it is a thrill, its a mind game and its all and more (which I will not tell you cause you have to read it and see for yourself)
So, while you enjoy your ready I am going to hunt down Eden and make her give me more Torian … he is becoming an obsession
Romance Suspense with all the feels-that is Torian! We get a feel for Torian in Eden Summers other books. There are so many twists and turns. Even those bad guys have feeling too. The characters and story line kept me wanting more!
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. Overall, this was a very good book and I enjoyed reading it. At one point, I cried for what Anissa has had to endure. It was just too much for me so I decided to pace myself for a few days, read some but not nonstop. And then, the story is picking up again so I’m reading nonstop again. (I can’t wait for Luther to get what’s coming to him.) The end of chapter 31 shocked me. And then… ARE YOU KIDDING ME WITH THAT ENDING???
Well wow!!! What an amazing turn of events we uncover in this newest work by Eden Summers.
This series of books just keeps getting better and better.
Torian sees us carry on from the explosive ending given to us at the end of Decker, and suffice it to say, the relationship that ignites between Torian and Anissa, an FBI agent, is a humdinger!!! The tension and dynamic between this couple is glaringly apparent from the outset of their very first meeting.
Torian and Anissa, for all intents and purposes, should not work as a couple…they are polar opposites…. or are they??? It is the proverbial Good vs Evil…Right vs Wrong… Law vs Criminal. However, this relationship is not just a simple antagonistic love/hate union…it encompasses the dichotomy that presents itself when two people from extremely contrasting beliefs and lifestyles find their feelings towards each other cannot be ignored or chained.
Eden was very clever to put Torian in a similar position romantically as his nemesis Decker and his sister Keira. Torian & Anissa face their own personal dilemmas when deciding on going forward with a relationship and we are kept on our toes until the very end to find out what that decision will be.
Within the confines of a forbidden romance, we are given a very powerful, intense and emotionally charged story. It also sparks a personal moral debate which I thought was cleverly provocative and actually quite realistic.
Along with the action, Ms Summers intersperses the dramatic with splashes of humour that delightfully breaks the intenseness of the storyline. Her ability to add light & shade to her stories gives her novels a well-balanced and sophisticated feel.
This story is a well-crafted piece of magic. It is intriguing, addictively entertaining and will have you glued to the pages until you finish. I have really loved the previous two books in this series and Torian is no different…it is very close to taking top honours.
A must read!!!
This book deserves so many more stars than 5 ! Eden Summers never and I really mean never fails to disappoint me. Torian and Anissa are on complete opposite sides when it comes to the law and Torian is everything Anissa detests. Making an arrest on Torian’s father should of secured her colleagues faith in her and yet it throws her life into turmoil and sends her on a rollercoaster of a journey that she would never believe could happen. Things are not as black and white as she would like to believe and the lengths Torian goes to show her this puts her in a situation that makes her second guess everything she has ever worked for. Reading this book made me feel like I was watching a film , the characters felt so real and the story line dragged me under, putting this book down was not an option . Now I need more!
I was so excited to finally find out more about Cole Torian after seeing bits and pieces of him in previous books. I knew that FBI agent, Anissa Fox, would be the perfect match for him. She has been investigating his family and wants to take them down. We first met her in Decker when she arrested Cole’s father, thwarting the plans Cole had him. Cole and Anissa begin playing games with each other trying to stay ahead of the other. They become attracted to each other as the games continue. But Anissa is all about rules, and staunch in her black and white judgement, where Cole plays with different rules that are shades of grey. The second half was more fast paced and thrilling with twists and turns that I didn’t expect. I really loved getting to know Cole and how he viewed his business and how fervently he protected those he loved. I had a hard time connecting with Anissa, and felt she acted contrary, in many cases, for the smart, tough agent she was supposed to be. Because of that I had a hard time feeling their attraction for most of the book. I did finally begin to feel their connection toward the end, and loved how Cole was determined to win her over. It was great having characters from past books make an appearance, and also meeting a couple new, and very intriguing characters as well. I love this exciting and steamy ‘Hunting Her’ series and hope to get a story about sexy, ex-SEAL, Luca next!
This book was nothing like I expected, but had everything I look for in a book. The character development was excellent. Anissa was probably my least favorite person in Decker, but she ended up being on top of my list. The twists in plot were completely unpredictable and each one made me want to read faster. And the ending, while not a typical romance ending, was PERFECT for this story. Nothing was rushed and we were left with Torian and Anissa right where they needed to be, leaving readers with the slightest craving for more.
Torian is another great book from Eden Summers. It’s the third book in the Hunting Her series. It is an enemies to lovers story. It tells the story of Cole Torian and Anissa Fox. Both characters have appeared in the previous books in this series.
I loved this book. It was everything I have come to expect from Eden Summers. There’s so many twists and turns throughout the whole book. Cole and Anissa are such opposite people types and they truly do rub each other the wrong way at first. I loved watching them come together. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
I knew torian would be good, the snips of him in hunter and Decker had me intreaged by his presence.
He’s harsh and aggressive and that’s on a good day, filled with Love and lust and fire getting what he wants comes easily to him, feelings are not something that comes into your mind when you think about torian he doesnt have time for it but Damn I have all the feels after reading this.
Anissa- I hated her at the beginning but the further along to story got the more I warmed up to her, in the end I loved her strong and fisty self.
The gut wrenching pain followed by an overflow of love made my head spin, the twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat throughout.
I knew this man would ruin me, he did, he’s the best one yet.
I loved every single minute
I loved this! I was a little worried when I first started reading this that I wouldn’t like the main character (Torian) as a criminal but I was mistaken. I did indeed like this criminal and I also admire the courage, independence, and feistiness (yes I made up this word) of the main female character “Nissa”. These two sparring with each other had me chuckling. I do hope the author revisits this couple and gives us more as I’m feeling insatiable at this point. I received an advance copy from the author and this is my honest and voluntary review.
This is book 3 in the Hunting Her series and it features Cole Torian and Anissa Fox. These two take us on a crazy, twisted, up-and-down and side-to-side roller coaster ride. I’m not even sure if I even want them to be together half the time. I’m not sure who’s trying to pull one over on who, through most of the book either. This is a “no hearts and flowers” mobster/FBI agent romantic suspense. Well, there were flowers but you’ll have to read it to find out why. This book was awesomely long and exceptionally written but there is no end to their story yet, for which I was a tiny bit disappointed.
ALL the characters in this book/series are amazing. I love that we got to spend time with Hunter and Decker. I’m super excited to read future books in this series!
