One of my favorites
this is what true love is willing to face your fears to be able to love someone with your whole heart they were great together sizzling panty melting romance lots of action to save a girl the dom has had to rescue before his family knew about his lifestyle already you love who you love they had a happy ending they didn’t need to do long distance love
Auch a wonderful story. Two handsome males – one has a very devoted family at his back the other a bigoted father that beat him within an inch of his life for being “different” 2 decades ago with the scars to remember. Nick and Jake are meant to be, but circumstances almost got in the way. Namely Jake’s past holding him back and Nick being shot at an assignment when he’s on leave from the Navy. So much pleasure and pain that makes you want to hit to wake up Jake to realise what’s in front of him. Loved it and didn’t expect anything less in the series. Great.
I don’t normally read gay romance; with that said this was so much more. A tasteful look into the mind of two alpha men one afraid to love and another hesitant to admit he is a sexual submissive. Don’t let the fact that the two main characters are gay keep you from reading this book it is well worth it.
Finally Happy
I know some people find it odd that I love male/male romance stories. Actually more than female/female. They always seem very emotional and I love a story that drags me in and makes me cry. This is that story.
This story includes all the elements of a great story. Love, action, and drama. All of them fill the pages and reading along you begin to wonder if the couple can fight against their mind and follow their heart.
Until Next Time… Tabi
Hot M/M
This was my first Samantha Cole book. I usually don’t read M/M except in a menage but I really enjoyed this book. I loved Jake and Nick’s story and the insight into the BDSM club. This story can be read as a standalone but now I really want to back track and read the other books in this series.
This book is very hot. jake and Nicks story is full of suspense and a lot of hot scenes. Samantha has written an wonderful story with this m/m book.
Jake strong alpha with a lot of doubts Nick a strong man trying to find him selves and longing for Jakes love, the community is getting stronger. I love the banter between the guys they are so protective of the girls and each other. Recommend this story.
Romance with an edge.
I’m a girl that doesn’t do BDSM. That being said, I loved this book. The BDSM aspect of the story is very well explained and conveyed without taking it to a level that’s all about pain and power.
Jake is the Dom, Nick becomes his Sub. The story alternates POV between Jake and Nick, who they are with a little bit of background, but the majority of the story is spent on building and continually evolving these two characters from where they are in the beginning, to the loving couple they become. Jake craves dominance in every aspect of his life, he’s very much an alpha male. Nick craves Jake and takes the time to learn about the lifestyle because he wants Jake in his life and will do whatever it takes to achieve that goal. What I liked most about the story was the journey Nick took as he dove into learning what made Jake tick and make the hard decisions about what he wanted and whether or not he was willing to give up the control with him being an alpha male as well.
Sean Crisden is a God, that is all. He not only gives the characters their own voice in the story he completely immerses himself in the story so that he can convey every emotion Jake and Nick are feeling in any given moment.
Great story, world building and character development was amazing and the narration was top notch. I highly recommend. And while the synopsis suggests reading them in order, this is the first listen in this series for me and I didn’t feel lost at all so I don’t think it’s a must to listen in order. Just sayin.
Great book!! A continuation of the Trident Security series. It will keep you on your toes! I loved reading it!
Nick Sawyer and Jake Donavan together are off-the-charts HAWT. Their relationship is so intense it almost sizzles off the page. Nick is gay, a SEAL, an Alpha male and as he recently discovered, a sexual submissive. He’s got his sighrs set on Jake. Jake tries, unsuccessfully, to keep Nick at arm’s length but Nick, just like his brothers is very determined, and not having any of it. While on a 30 day leave he joins Jake on an op to protect a teenage girl from her sexually abusive father who is bent on vengeance. Jake finally realizes he must come to terms with his tumultuous past in order to be truly happy. He does just that and then reveals all his truths to Nick. A new foundation is laid for an HEA for the two men.
Nick has always been seen as a Dom in the club but for some treason, he feels very submissive near Jake. Jake is all alpha and a strong one too. Nick will have a lot of barriers to break through to get his man he really wants. When they are thrown together to help a girl, Nick finds a way to break Jake. But what Jake does next shocked me. You will have to read it to find out!
Sean Crisden narrated this installment of the Trident series. He has an easy to listen to voice. His narration brought the characters to life. I felt as if I was a bystander within the story witnessing it happening through his narration. I enjoyed this narration.
Another perfect addition to this group of strong men and women. The way these two fight their ways tot he top into a beautiful relationship is so touching. I loved hearing their stories and can only hope their will be more in this series soon.
Topping the Alpha is my first M/M novel and I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. Excellent character development with just the right balance of hotness and danger.
We get Jake’s story in this book. Jake is attracted to Nick Sawyer, the baby brother of his boss. He and Nick hooked up once and Jake is determined is won’t happen again. Nick is just as determined it will.
Nick is on leave from his Navy Seal Team and volunteers to be backup for Jake on a job to help a young girl. Will Jake get his HEA. Read this book to find out!
This story is M/M which was a departure for me. Nothing against them they just don’t normally float my boat. But this is an awesome series and there is no way I was missing this one!
Nick may be the baby of the Sawyer brothers but he is a badass SEAL! He is always the dominant person in everything he does. So why oh why when it comes to a certain hard-bodied male is he ready to submit???? He is also hiding his homosexuality from his family. He doesn’t understand why because he knows they would love him no matter what his sexuality is but he is tied up in knots mentally and emotionally over it.
Jake came out of the closet when he was a teenager. He suffered at the hands of his father for it and he made a vow to himself that he’d never hide who he loved. Nick is his friends younger brother but after a hot-as-heck night together he’s not sure where they can go.
Add in an abused teenager on the run after her mother was murdered and memories from Jake’s past and this was an emotionally charged story. This has all the feels!
Nick’s introduction to BDSM was handled very well and his status in the club was handled well due to his contradictory states between his private life and professional life.
Fab read!
I am so awed by this book. I’ve never really read an exclusive m/m relationship book. But this was AWESOME and Hot!! I was so rooting for Jake and Nick to work things out! I loved the storyline. Everything about this series of Trident Security has been right up my alley!!
My favorite book in the whole series!! Jake and Nick have mountains to climb and hurdles to cross before they can take their romance to the next level. Will Jake be able to get over his past and finally let love and happiness surround him? Beautifully written and emotionally charged.
There are only a handful of authors that write MM that I will read. I will be adding Samantha A. Cole to this list. Nike and Jake are just perfect for each other, if they would just figure it out. This story is very well written and I just fell in love with the characters!! I really hope at some point, she writes another MM book.
I am really enjoying this series. Jake and Nick are great together. I was interesting seeing this version of new to BDSM and self awareness of submissiveness. Going through this from the view of a Navy SEAL realizing his needs and accepting them was heart warming. Plus the whole series story line and all the characters working together makes this a must read series.
