No one is more surprised than Lord North when he returns from war to find his ex-fiancee in his ancestral home…working as a governess in a sexy, fiery new Wildes of Lindow Castle romance by New York Times bestselling author Eloisa James…
The handsome, rakish heir to a dukedom, Lord Roland Northbridge Wilde—known to his friends as North—left England two years ago, after being jilted by Miss … England two years ago, after being jilted by Miss Diana Belgrave. He returns from war to find that he’s notorious: polite society has ruled him “too wild to wed.”
Diana never meant to tarnish North’s reputation, or his heart, but in her rush to save a helpless child, there was no time to consider the consequences of working as a governess in Lindow Castle. Now everyone has drawn the worst conclusions about the child’s father, and Diana is left with bittersweet regret.
When North makes it clear that he still wants her for his own, scandal or no, Diana has to fight to keep from losing her heart to the man whom she still has no intention of marrying.
Yet North is returning a hardened warrior—and this is one battle he’s determined to win.
He wants Diana, and he’ll risk everything to call her his own.

Another great story by Eloisa James. A little unclear how it was going to end, and it was wonderful
Everyone of Eloise books are great.
You can never go wrong reading an Eloisia James book.
I love the Wilde family!
I was in a bit of a romance-reading rut — started several in a row that just didn’t keep my attention — but this one was a true pleasure to read. A new spin on the Formerly Betrothed Re-encounter Each Other trope that I really enjoyed. My first Eloisa James but certainly won’t be my last.
Very good writer. Great series
Enjoyed this book from start to finish!!
Love this author. Love her books. Have been reading her stories for a few years now.
Loved it!!!
Absolutely marvelous!
Boring. It was like entering a movie in the middle. Who were these people? Are they in a serie?s
This series is so good. You need to read them all. They will distract you from the bad news in TV. Immerse yourself in romance of a bygone era.
The entire Wilde series is great, just like everything by Eloisa James!
Slightly boring. Pace too slow
I loved it.
Love her books. Wish the story would never end.
A few too many sex scenes for my taste, however the story is good, the characters are engaging, and her conversations are entertaining. This is one of a series of books, but can be read as a stand-alone novel.
Love Eloisa’s Wildes!
The plot was not too realistic. She writes well…
Don’t miss any of the Wildes! As usual Eloisa James does an exceptional job. I love the hero and heroine who couldn’t be good with anyone else. I also love the other characters that make the Wilde family feel like anyone’s family. It is a must read!
