For three years, ballet teacher Natalie Taggart has lived across the hall from grumpy, reclusive, sexy Greer Wilde. Save for a handful of hellos and the occasional heated glance, they never spoke to each other. Until the morning Greer lands on her doorstep, bleeding, beaten, and bullet-riddled. Greer doesn’t need or want her help. He has only one goal: revenge. And nobody–not his brothers, and … nobody–not his brothers, and certainly not his too-hot-for-his-sanity next-door neighbor–is going to get in his way.
Each book in the Wilde Security series is a standalone story that can be enjoyed out of order.

This whole series was so good, but Greer and Natalie’s story was the best by far. The relationship between the brothers is so incredibly heartwarming and funny. Tonya Burrows’ storytelling pulls you in making you a part of these brother’s lives and loves. But her portrayal of Greer is phenomenal. His sacrifices, getting emancipated at 15 so he can look after his younger brothers, while somewhat incredible, comes across as so believable. His life as she portrays it throughout the storyline is endearingly written. This story made me cry.
I enjoy books that are part of a series or can stand alone like this one. Looking forward to working my way backwards.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. I haven’t read all of the Wilde books yet, but this one is fabulous. Greer has such a heavy chip on his shouders, he barely seems to be able to walk. Until he lands in front of Tally’s front door, all beat up. I very much loved how this story turned out. Searching for his parents killer for most of his life made him someone, He never intended to become in the first place, but to protect his brothers he gave up everything. A heartfelt story that has you grab your kleenex now and then. Absolut loved it.
P.S. And since I got a narrated copy… Alex Kydd did an amazing job narrating through the story. He worked with different “voices” so you Had an idea, who’s actually talking before a name was mentioned. He has the emotions in the story down perfectly. Great work.
I really enjoyed this book and have read the entire series.
Good story. The writer did a good job with the issues both the h/h we’re going through. I felt the despair both of the individuals suffered. It was great to see them get their HEA.
I liked the characters and the twists and turns taken in the mystery before the happy ending.
Thoroughly enjoyable. I found this story action packed, intriguing and full of entertainment. Greer is a lost soul who finally sees light at the end of the dark tunnel. His life has been traumatic, and not made easier with his black ops jobs. Natalie is empathetic, and her big heart shines through in this story.
Boring and predictable
Fast paced and action packed. Greer has me wanting to hug him, Natalie had me cheering and the brothers had me laughing. While I thought I had the killer figured out there was an unexpected spin that took me by surprise at the end and I loved it. The writing flowed and the characters took over my imagination. While some heavy material was covered this was a good read that also spoke on family, loyalty and love. I have not read the rest of this series, but I did not feel I missed anything on this last book. If anything it just spurred my interest to read the others.
Thanks for the opportunity to read this book and share my opinions.
