I have one cardinal rule: I don’t date rockers and, since I work at a club surrounded by them, that means I don’t date at all.My overbearing boss keeps a tight watch to ensure I never break that rule. Which means I have to keep local rock god Razer at arm’s length, no matter how tempting he is. I tell myself I don’t have time for love anyway. That changes when a mysterious stranger in tight … stranger in tight leather pants enters the scene.
I didn’t ask to get stuck in a crazy love triangle — and I sure as hell didn’t put myself up as a prize in a rock competition — but when it becomes the only way to save my job, and the job of my friends, I can’t say no.
Now my biggest problem is too many rock stars.

Both men are sexy and talented. I enjoyed this book But beware that if you interrupter her nap it will be dangerous
Too Many Rockstars is a problem, why???
Since discovering Candy J Starr’s first book, I have been an avid reader, and I believe she is a hugely talented yet underrated voice in the world of Rockstar books.
I loved Violet’s book the first time, and have adored reading it in it’s new clothes. She has a softer edge this time round, and I admire her character of perceived strength that fiercely guards a rarely seen vulnerability. She is all about the music, and loves the opportunity to book talented yet undiscovered bands at the club she works in.
Alex has a past that is only barely hinted at. He’s super talented, super gorgeous and carefully plans every facet that he presents to people both publicly and privately. Nothing is done on a whim or left to chance, and I wonder if he was always been this way. He is beautifully and sexily written, but I still can’t help but be drawn to the rocker who is every bit as talented, but an opposite in all ways.
Razer has to be up there as the type of rocker I just love. He’s almost the antithesis to the usual stereotype of inflated ego, groupie shagging pretty boy. He lives and breathes the music, and the way he explains to Alex how music makes the people feel when they listen to it, made me feel that Candy Starr has looked directly into my soul as she wrote those words for his character. Music is life. It’s my saviour, my energy and also the calming influence that I need.
The chemistry between Violet and Razer was as easy was it was intense and fun, whereas I always knew that everything about Alex was weighed and calculated. Too Many Rockstars is a problem that many of us would envy, and I loved reading about Violet’s ‘problem’. This is a well balanced rocker book that I recommend as time and money well spent. 4.5 stars.

A couple of years ago, I read Rock Revenge (book 4 in this series) but never went back and read the books that had come before it. I wanted to love Violet but it just never happened. She has these two men completely infatuated with her but I could never quite put my finger on why. I think she’s supposed to come off as prickly but instead, she comes off as awful and mean most of the time.
The best part of this story is Razer. He might be a rockstar but he’s also a big, soft teddy bear and I constantly thought that he could do so much better than Violet. I never quite understood what he loved so much about her and when the story ended, I was convinced that he’s a glutton for punishment who didn’t recognize abusive behavior when it happens.
I usually love books by this author but this one just didn’t connect with me.

I’ve read many books by this author because I’m a sucker for a rock star and I have always been a fan of Ms. Starr. Well, in this book you get two rockers along with the workaholic booking manager for the club. Both long time lead singer Razor and the new hottie rocker Alex are vying for Violet’s affection. The one rule Violet has is no messing around with the rockers.
Violet came across as a b*tch which was hard to swallow. I really did love Razor though. Even though this book didn’t really hit the mark for me because of the fan I am, I will definitely be waiting for the next book from this author.
