Who says curvy girls FINISH last…- MadisonAll I wanted to do was stay at home and lose myself in my romance novel. I certainly didn’t want to go see the all-American male stripper troupe from Miami perform, but Eleanor would hear nothing of it.She had just broken up with her boyfriend, and in her opinion, the universe owed her a night of pure lust with the star of the show, Subway Chad.I’d … night of pure lust with the star of the show, Subway Chad.
I’d never been to see a bunch of guys get their kit off before, and to be honest, I had a strong feeling it wouldn’t be my thing. All these women screaming their heads off for a bunch of guys who were almost definitely gay.
Nevertheless, we got dressed up to the nines and went to see the performance. Subway Chad appeared on stage. And, oh my freaking God…
Then his eyes found mine.
Chad
Women throwing themselves at me on and off stage was no big deal, but me spotting a woman in the crowd and insanely wanting her. Nah, that had never happened.
There was only one thing to do. Get that beauty on the stage.
I didn’t know why she had such an effect on me, but one thing was for sure. Like me she too couldn’t conceal the lust in her eyes the moment our bodies touched.

Madison is a curvy girl and likes to read romance. She ends up going to a male strip club with her friend and meets the main entertainment Chad. Chad has seen it all as a stripper but he can’t let Madison get away. This was a cute, sexy book that I enjoyed reading.

River Laurent writes another beautifully developed story. Madison and Chad have this quickly developing romance that is just off the charts. They are both are sweet and kind, with Chad having a protective side. Madison has a few personality quirks that got a little fraustrating at times but once she gets over them she becomes this fantastic woman. The story is fast paced and quick but still beautifully written. This is definitely worth reading and it won’t disappoint.

I thought the book was ok. The story could have been better. I was excited about the prospect that Madison, a curvy and secure girl, hooked up with a hot stripper. I was waiting for the moment where the story engrosses you and it never came. Overall, it was an ok read and worth checking out.

This was a great book. Best way to beat low self esteem issues is to pick up the hottest stripper at the show. I loved that River Laurent wrote how Madison actually dealt with low self esteem issues women deal with every day. I also love that it shows how a man like Chad, caring and considerate, (not just hot), one that tells a woman she’s beautiful and makes her feel beautiful, can change a woman’s perspective of herself. Definitely a feel good book.

Indeed the main female character had a very hot commodity in the main male character. They have a very sensual relationship. The reader can feel the want between the two main characters. After a brief time together the main female character leaves her country to go be with the main male character. What a leap of faith this move is. She has a turbulent time with a lot of self-talk to try and work through and handle what the main male character does for a living. The main male character is all in to this relationship and is solid in his support and caring for the main female character. This is a really beautiful story that gives the reader hope that they too can perhaps have such an amenable partner.
Great reading! Highly recommend this novel to all romance affectionadoes.

When insecure Madison is coerced by her “best” friend into going to a male revue show, she never imagines she’ll meet and fall in love with one of the dancers – the headliner no less!
I thought Too Hot to Handle was super sexy and ooey-gooey sweet, but way too rushed and insta-love for my tastes. Madison was far, far too insecure for me, making it really hard to connect with her. I thought her insecurities got in the way of the pace, muddling things a lot. In a seemingly contradictory way, her being so insecure stalled their relationship from moving meaningfully forward, yet at the same time, they got serious way too quickly. A very weird, hard-to-read contradiction. I did like Chad, although he wasn’t developed enough.
So if all you want is something sweet and sexy that won’t tax your mind or your heart, Too Hot to Handle is the story for you. However, if you’re after something with punch, a well-developed, meaningful story, I’d skip this one.
