He saved her from danger. Can he save her from herself?Georgia “Gigi” Sinclair has it all. Just check out her social media feed. It’s full of designer clothes, first class travel and snapshots of her TV-star fiancé. Behind the scenes, things are a bit more complicated. Then she meets Tony. He’s a firefighter with a talent for turning up the heat and making Georgia question what she really wants. … question what she really wants.
Their chemistry is off the charts. Will this smoldering romance burn bright or flame out?
This story features characters from “The Catch” and “The Assignment” but may be enjoyed as a stand-alone book.

This book is my first read from Avery Scott, and after reading Too Hot to Handle, I’m gutted I haven’t read book 1 and 2, but make no mistake I will be going back and reading the other books in the series. This book was excellent from the get-go. I have absolutely loved this read, this author has created an epic story with even better characters. Georgia and Tony were just perfect in this read, everything about them made this book better. I definitely think they were the perfect match even with the ups and downs they have, the banter and the interaction between them. Georgia & Tony both went through a journey through this read and it just helped them become even more intriguing, real and relatable.
This read flows effortlessly from chapter to chapter, and was captivating from the start to the very end! One last thing – can we can point out how hot this cover is, who doesn’t like seeing a sexy male in a uniform!
This is a book I highly recommend and a story you wouldn’t want to miss out on!
I loved this book! I could not put it down! It was my first time reading one of her books
This is the third book in the series and it is a hot one. Derron’s friend Tony meets a very drunk Georgia at a Catch 22 party and like a good fireman he rescues her. It turns out that Georgia is sleazy Chaz’s ex fiancee. He dumped her when he married the mayor’s daughter (which turned out to be not legal due to paperwork) and she’s on a mission to get Chaz’s back. Tony suggests he can help her make Chaz’s jealous but feeling between the two come into play. These two have a great chemistry and I enjoyed reading this one. I loved how Tony taught Georgia to love herself as she was, not as others thought she should be.
To hot to handle is perhaps your run of the mill romance, however it is well written and had me giggling in places. It starts off with Tony, being the hot guy who doesn’t want to settle down and enjoys playing the field. Tony meets Georgia, a heart broken women, dumped by her fiance in one of worst ways, by chance. He “rescues” her thinking he will never see her again, however finds himself rescuing her for a 2nd time. You don’t get an instant chemistry coming through between them, but more a gut feeling that the chemistry is definitely there and this is spot on for this book.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review. This is the first book in this series but it will not be the last. I have read several Avery Scott books and I have found that she does a fantastic job with her stories. This one is well written and I loved the characters. I look forward to the next book I get in this series.
Too Hot to Handle by Avery Scott is the third book in The Catch series. This can be read as a standalone. Georgia has hit a bump in the dating scene and had an accident that requires the assistance of a fireman. In comes Tony to the rescue. Will the sparks explode between the two of them?
I enjoyed the dialogue between Georgia and Tony. They have an interesting chemistry because they do not seem to be a match especially in the eyes of Georgia but there is a draw between them. I also really thought the story was fun. I really liked the characters were being given second chances. I will be going back to catch the others in the series because I would like to see more of the other characters and see the other stories.
Too Hot to Handle (The Catch Series Book 3) by Avery Scott is a romantic comedy that continues with overlapping characters from previous books in the series. You can absolutely read this story separately, but I would encourage you to read the other books to get a more thorough sense of some of the amazing supporting characters. In Too Hot to Handle, this story had me laughing at some of the character hi-jinks to wanting to hug them or smack them on the head for some of their behaviors. Each of these brought a well rounded edge to the story and made it come full circle! Georgia feels like a lost individual during some parts of the story, but watching her come into her own and figuring out dynamics was well paced in the book. Then Tony, whew, talk about a hottie come to laugh. He gave this story just wanted it needed pairing up against Georgia’s softer character. I love Avery Scott’s writing and I think this is definitely my favorite from the series!
Too Hot to Handle is the third book in The Catch Series. This can be read as a standalone, as I haven’t read the previous books and I had no problem following this one. The story is easy to follow and fun. The characters were likeable, and they had smoking chemistry. Avery Scott is a new author to me, and I liked her writing style. I’m going to go back and read the other books in this series.
Too Hot to Handle (The Catch, Book3)
By Avery Scott
Rated 4 stars
This is not a first time author for me but this is the first book I have read in this series. I got hooked by the cover. Who doesn’t love a hot fireman story! That is what interested me so I snagged it.
Tony was great! A typical ladies man. Who can never see himself with the same woman night after night. His distaste for his friend Derron is almost comical at times and I knew it would bit me him in the rear eventually. I love how he calls Georgia “peaches”. His idea of a fake relationship with Georgia worked against him. It was sad to see him fall but i was very happy for him while reading his thoughts. Georgia really had personal growth in this story. I felt sorry for her at times when she went to visit her family. I loved that Tony stood up for her. (I think she loved it as well).
This is an easy read that flows very well. I was able to read it in a day because once it got moving I could hardly put it down. Georgia and Tony have ups and downs in their relationship. I really *felt* for them a couple times. I enjoyed getting to read their story.
This is the third book in this series, I enjoyed it just as much as the previous too if not more. I enjoyed how this story pulled me in right from the start. The characters are connectable, relatable and they seem to just pop off the pages. It is a well written story that kept me turning pages until the end. Georgia thought she had it all until her fiance breaks it off. She is determined to get him back until she meets Tony who just might change her mind. I highly recommend this book.
This is the first book that I have read in the series and I have to say that it was a fantastic read. Great characters. I plan to read books 1 and 2 as well. Highly recommended.
This is the 3rd in the series but complete standalone. Gigi & tony had some great chemistry. Add a hot firefighter & beautiful blogger it’s magic!
I was excited to find out that you did not need to read the first two books in this series to follow along with this storyline! Georgia is doing anything in her power to get her ex-fiancé back after he abruptly ended their engagement without even telling her. Tony is hanging with his best friend and ends up jumping in and saving her from getting hurt physically and emotionally. When Tony doesn’t want to give up his time with Georgia, he proposes a deal to help her get her ex-fiancé back and she is all for it. As the book progresses, we see that the two have chemistry and eventually act on their growing feelings, but when assumptions are made and an accident happens, will the two end up together? This was an overall good read and I would definitely be interested in reading the previous two books in the series.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
You know you love a book when you stay up all night to finish reading it. Gigi and Tony are too unpredictable to resist. Too Hot to Handle is a mismatch doused in comedy gold. Scott leads readers around by the heart while seducing with laughter. Add in the fireworks of attraction between a blogging dynamo and a bad boy firefighter and prepare for the embers to become an inferno. A great introduction to a spotlight author.
